This is one of the best hotels to stay in if you are in Sydney. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed is very soft and comfortable. The area is very clean and quiet. The location is perfect, we didn't have any trouble in transportation, the Wynyard station is only 1 block away, everything is accessible. Breakfast was good. We would like to stay here again in the future if given the chance.

Breakfast could use a little more selection. We stayed for 5 days and it's mostly the same food everyday. Bathroom could also use a shower curtain as water can easily spill on the floor.

Location was great. Beds were comfortable. Staff friendly.

There is no proper extractor fan in the bathroom. So it steams up very quickly. The television kept displaying a constant message, which we couldn’t get rid of in settings. We asked reception to sort it out but either they didn’t or couldn’t. If you do not ask for your room to be serviced then it won’t be. I was told this by reception. So on the third day when we forgot to ask for a room clean it wasn’t. We requested clean towels and cups and staff were happy to oblige. Don’t get a connecting room as it can be quite noisy hearing the people talking if you are trying to sleep.

Beds were very comfortable, pillows a little to high to sleep on. Nice clean room with ample space Location was excellent, plenty of restaurants, cafes and local shopping. Close to tourist attractions and also close to transport.

Not too fond of the open shower, water all over the floor, needed to keep mopping up. Air-conditioning noisy, kept me awake at night. Fresh coffee/tea service would be a nice addition to room service.

Property was just near Wynyard station- perfect location if you are flying in to Sydney. Very close to Barangaroo and King Street Wharf for restaurants as well as city retail.

Restaurant downstairs was chaotic and crowded at mealtimes but it is lose to Barangaroo so there are plenty of other options.

The rooms have been updated since I was last there 2 years ago, so that was a pleasant surprise—a very comfortable room. The room was fairly quiet and the blackout blinds were great. The staff checking in was very helpful.

I like the self-serve check-in, but when I was checking in, I was told when I checked out, I had to use computers, which was fine. Still, when it came to the day I had to check out, I checked out using the computers but had nowhere to put the room keys, so I took them to the service desk, where I was advised to next time bring the keys to the service desk and don't use the computers. This isn't a big issue, but it just added a bit of confusion. I still plan to stay here again when I visit Sydney.

This is a comfortable hotel in a fantastic location with train and light rail options both just a short walk away. Slightly further out is the ferry terminal, but that is still a very easy down hill walk. Rather than walk back up, I got off the ferry at Darling Habour and took the light rail back to base. Easy Peasy

The self check in system totally sucks, especially if you have forgotten your reading glasses. It was so much quicker when a human checked you in, but I suppose laborious self-service systems are the way of the future, so we all should just suck it up and except that we are now forced to do unpaid work for companies so they can save money on staff. I don’t mind this if it results in lower costs, however in this case the room was expensive, so it would have been nice to have been greeted by a human who is paid to act like he cares about what sort of day I was having.

Location - able to walk to Circular Quay and Barangaroo - plus basically on top of Wynyard train station. Clean and mostly modern - bathroom updates which is essential; air con not so much - still bulkhead behind couch and noisy - but did work

Feels less than opulent - but guess that’s the money you spend. Being picky I think I guess. Not many food places around. Used the Met Centre on Friday but come Sunday all closed! So limited local places - but not far to the Rocks for breakfast so walkable for us but would not have been if my parents were with us

self serve check in-out was such a great experience with staff monitoring the area for help, although greetings could be friendlier. i stayed here pre-renovation and seeing the difference it was quite litterally a whole other experience. beds were extremely comfortable and room was very cozy.

parking was a bit expensive, i'd like a feature on the check in tablets to view parking lot status and if there were any parks left. my only complaint would be not having access to a microwave in the room.

A great location to explore the harbour end of the city. Convenient for the OperaHpuse and ferries, and city tram etc. Close to huge number of cafes, and not too far from all the shopping areas

The only issue we had was with the pillows. Its fine to have 2 pillows, but at least one should be slimmer and/or firmer. Both pillows were too thick and elastic/spring back, so it was not possible to be as comfortable as we would wish with a lower former pillow position. The bed itself was very comfortable
