Great variety at breakfast scrambled eggs a little soupy.

The coffee/tea situation. Those machines usually have hot water added in with the different coffees offered but this one didn’t. Both were lukewarm in temperature. Maybe in the case of the coffee is because of the smaller cups so the water doesn’t heat up the milky drinks, but drinking lukewarm milk in a cappuccino is not ideal. So I switched to tea but those jugs do not keep hot once again warm. So to me thought that this was a disaster as some other folk said the same thing. One day I paid for a coffee and asked for extra hot but felt if you are paying for breakfast a hot drink not a warm one this should be available. Think Hilton should look at this aspect. Also think your evening meal could be alittle more wholesome not just bar food.

Rooms are on the smaller side compared to other city options Limited facilities such as no onsite parking or heated pool parking is available directly across the road in the Wilson carpark which has minimal capacity and is often full. Higher nightly rate due to the Hilton brand, not necessarily reflective of value compared to other nearby establishments.

My partner and I came for a week long trip to celebrate our 40th birthdays and were definitely not disappointed. They gave us a free upgrade which was really lovely. The room was nice and spacious and quiet. The beds were super comfortable. The staff were all fantastic and more than happy to accomodate any requests. We really enjoyed the breakfast. It was nice to have a large variety to choose from, especially for the days I didn't feel like a hot breakfast. It was central to everything we were doing while in Sydney. It was also one of the cleanest hotels we've ever stayed at. I highly recommend the West Hotel and would definitely recommend staying whether for a romantic weekend or even a longer trip.

Truly, I can not think of anything I didn't like. My only suggestion would be for the bedside tables to have a few drawers as storage is very limited.

Our room was clean and had a nice view of the harbour. Staff were friendly and helpful. Complimentary water bottles and snacks in fridge. Breakfast buffet was also included in the room price and was yummy. If you sign up as a new member you can request a late check out for 1pm which was great as it gave my partner and I the opportunity to explore Darling Harbour more. Thank you!

Only negative was the parking fee which was $55 for 24 hours at Wilsons which was directly opposite the hotel but I guess this was expected given the location.

Clean and spacious room. Staff were lovely. Close to Barangaroo and walking distance to QVB etc.

A couple of disappointing things. Deal was for 15% off the restaurant and bar but they were closed for lunch and dinner both days we were there. I would have picked a different deal if I had known they were closed. Room service had a limited menu. Breakfast was a little disappointing as well. The bill didn’t reflect the 15% off even though I was told it did at checkout but the bill wasn’t sent through until I was home. Am currently trying to get that sorted.

Beautiful hotel, very clean, thoughtfully laid out, super comfortable bed and pillows, really good sound insulation from neighbouring rooms, quiet. Close to train line, Darling Harbour, Circular Quay and other Sydney sites. Fabulous stay!! Thank you.

Only issue room was near service elevator so was woken at 7am due to noise from cleaners with trolleys. However would not hesitate to re-book this hotel and would just request a room somewhere away from both sets of lifts. Otherwise a superb stay. Have added this hotel to my preferred list for Sydney work trips!

The room was comfortable. The breakfast was yummy and lots of choice.

The fact that we had to pay $60 for parking that was not stated anywhere in any info. The fact that we had to put $50 to hold that we also had no idea about. That is $110 we had not expected so this sort of sucked. Also when booking it said it was the closest to the harbour for the cruises and yet it wasn't we had to walk fair bit. I am on a walking stick due to having severe arthritis which made it uncomfortable for me.

Sadly on this instance the Chromocast wasn't working at all & restaurant had issues too. I just wished we got told prior to arrival. We wouldn't have cancelled but a little gesture would gave been appreciated as we paid for full facilities and this time a couple things weren't quite right. We stated here before and no complaint though

The location was brilliant, staff were so helpful in terms of early check in and taking our bags to our rooms.

For our room specifically (404) when you went out and left the aircon on it would trip the whole room. When we first arrived and opened our doors the lights were off and wouldn’t come on, from speaking to a cleaner she rebooted the electrics from the electrical box and we were good to go. Had this happen on more than one occasion so it was a bit of a pain but at least we knew to reboot the box
