Location, quick check in n out

I have to pay extras $40/night, if I want the harbour view. Although at Booking.com it's stated my room has harbour view. The facility in the room n bathroom only meet 4 stars. Room decorations look old. AC temp can't be adjusted. We've reported that n the technician just show us how to adjust the temp, but didn't wait to see if it really works.

I congratulate you on the entire experience. Attention to details was fabulous. Examples: Your room is ready - as I arrived early. Very much appreciated. Bag was already in room - fantastic. Cab at the raising of a hand Ate breakfast and lunch at Jackalberrys - best pasta in a long time and my partner is Italian! Cleanliness really sold me. I have stayed in many five stars and yeah - sometimes disappointed at the level of cleanliness. Usually pretty average. So this was so nice to experience. Glasses in drawers sparkling clean. Just felt good. Thank you for such a nice experience. Please pass on to all. We too often say what we don't like and nothing about what we do. Gaelle Lindrea

Location at Darling Harbour was great - we had a great view of the fireworks which happens several Saturdays a month and we were lucky to be there yesterday. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

I didnt like the check in - we arrived early and waited til 3pm ( the official check in time) but were made to queue again behind like 13 families. They did open more counters and the line moved fast but perhaps, they could set up a counter for those who had already checked in and just needed to be handed their access cards?

Great location and friendly staff.

The room did not have a toothbrush and toothpaste.

We purchased the breakfast with our 3-night stay. Was not worth it, very disappointed and expensive. The breakfast seating area was huge, they had station spread out throughout the area, the line up at the toasting area was impossible to get too due so many people dining. The line up to get into the breakfast area stretched out down the stairs and to the lobby area. Would recommend to have breakfast on darling harbour somewhere

Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Sydney was nothing short of amazing! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city and close to Darling Harbour, making it so convenient to explore the best of Sydney. The service was exceptional. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The breakfast was another highlight—an incredible selection of fresh, delicious options that catered to all tastes. It was a great way to kick off each morning! We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Sydney to anyone visiting the city. We can’t wait to stay here again!

I wasn’t happy about the check in procedure. There was no distinct line and a few people went ahead of me and the staff did not notice I was waiting for at least 10 minutes in the same line as the customer ahead was talking to the employee. Just common courtesy. Another employee came behind me and ushered people behind me to the counters and didn’t ask me once. I told her I had a zoom meeting in 10minutes and she just ignored me and continue to take others to counters. . There needs to be a clear system in place for checkin where it’s based on who lines up first . Otherwise the room was amazing but just not happy with that one experience, as it disrupted my business/work timeline.

The Hyatt Regency is on Darling Harbour, which is well located within walking distance of the ferries at both Barrangeroo and Circular Quay, as well as the Opera House, NSW State Library, and shopping district. The hotel staff fulfilled my request for a higher floor and harbour view. The room was refreshed daily, with perfection. After staying four nightmarish nights at the rundown Adina Apartments Darling Harbour, it was pure pleasure to stay another six nights at a real hotel and in a beautiful room.

The hotel fronts Sussux Street. There is a convenient back entrance for guests to access Darling Harbour. There are a lot of stairs. They were ok for me, but I can see that they might be a struggle for others. A lift at that point would be helpful.

Location was great. Room was well appointed and clean.

Being woken by a hotel worker entering our room at 9.45am while my partner and I were in bed.....naked. I would have thought that with check out being at 11am that the room would be tended to after we actually had checked out and left. Was quite startling to wake to the sound of our door opening and then having to quickly cover up while still half asleep. Would have been nice to have a sheet on the bed and not just a quilt. Was too hot with the quilt and too cold without anything. Having to pay an extra $110 for parking on top of the room charge. How everything has a "credit card surcharge" attached to it.
