I decided to choose Meriton accommodation in Sydney CBD to be in close proximity to an exam centre having had a great experience last year when I stayed in Meriton apartments in Brisbane for a week-long course. Very comfortable and spacious apartment with lovely furniture and equipped with good kitchen equipment so was great having the option to cook. I also made use of the gym, spa and sauna facilities which were nice and clean. Only suggestion for improvement may be some of the equipment in the gym may need more regular checks/servicing as hard to adjust weight options for some of the equipment. Really enjoyed my stay and helped me feel more comfortable being away from home (flew from interstate) when needed to travel for an exam. Would definitely recommend and keep in mind Meriton options in the future when need to have longer interstate stays. - Madelene

Great location didn't have breakfast at the hotel as there was nothing to accommodate for breakfast or room service . The location was very good in walking distance of everything we wanted to do . Bed was very comfortable

The air conditioner was leaking in our room . The coffee wasn't very nice very very bitter and there was no water in the fridge were we could purchase or drink.and the towels are wwwaayyy to small to use in the bathroom

Modern, tasteful, spacious and very well appointed. Very quiet considering it is in the middle of Sydney CBD.

The spa could have been warmer and there were no showers in the spa/sauna/pool area. Ideally you need to shower after a sauna before jumping in the pool or spa to was off sweat. Inconvenient having to go back to room for this.

Apartment is great with all the facilities we utilised everything in our stay including the pool, sauna, gym, kitchen and laundry. Location is perfect but the price reflects this.

Minor things but they do add up over the week- Did need to prompt reception for an express clean despite them calling us the night before to advise it would be happening. We stayed in the same room last year and booked the same, was disappointed that this layout felt smaller especially as we were staying for 8 nights. Wish the water from the shower wouldn’t cause such a puddle at the shower entrance. The hallways feel very muggy and have that ‘off smell’ due to no ventilation. Would be nice to have a cleaning kit with some disinfectant wipes, paper towel and spray to keep the place tidy independently especially when using the kitchen every night.

Have stayed a few times and find the rooms spacious, well equipped and comfortable beds and pillows and the location is great just a few minutes to Darling Harbour or up to George St

The room seemed a lot more dusty than I remember on previous visits - particularly the skirting boards which were quite dirty

The apartment itself was very comfortable and spacious. We were very happy with it.

The extra we paid for a harbour view was not worth the money. You see very little of the harbour because of two high rise offices either side (9th floor) and we were conscious of people looking into our room! When we stayed earlier in the month we were on the 24th floor in a “normal” room, but we had a better view of not only the city at night, but also the harbour (if you looked sideways from the balcony).

Good, well equipped apartment in a good location. Big room with everything we needed in the kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. Everything worked well and we could cook breakfast and simple meals. Fairly easy to get to Circular Quay and Opera House by Rapid Transit train, also by boat or Uber.

Watch the airport Taxi's, (we got ripped off charged 92 dollars, driver wouldn't take card, had no change etc) Conned on the way in, a dodgy meter I think. I recommend agreeing the price before hand, and taking a picture of the cab, and time of journey

the location was nice, the staff were friendly, the pool was nice also.

For a "luxury" apartment, it didn't feel very luxurious. There was a dirty cup in the cupboard, the doors and walls were aged, and scratched. There wasn't enough laundry soap for a two bedroom apartment for a two night stay, as we use the pools, I washed all the towels and some clothes every day. The crockery wasn't really in the most logical position. I understand these things are minor, but when you advertise "luxury" it should feel that way. I just felt that the attention to these small details would have made it a better experience for me.

Great location: Being right in the heart of the city made it easy to access tourist spots, restaurants, and public transport. In-room amenities: Having a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer was extremely convenient, especially for a longer stay. Private parking: On-site parking is a real plus in this part of Sydney. Big living room.

Parking cost and policy: Parking is quite expensive at AUD 60 per day and cannot be reserved in advance, which can be inconvenient, especially during busy periods. Limited view: Our suite faced other very close buildings, offering little privacy. Small bedroom: The bedroom was quite compact, which felt a bit tight considering the standard and price point. We have to put our luggage in the living room Air conditioning issues: The system wasn’t functioning properly during our stay—it didn’t heat the room, which was uncomfortable on colder days. Luggage racks: There were no luggage racks in the room upon arrival; we had to request them from reception.

The location was pretty good. We got to public transport without much effort. (Big hill!) We enjoyed Darling Harbor once we figured out how to get there. Your staff was mostly helpful. The washer and dryer came in handy.

It will be better when you get the restaurant open. You need an ice machine guests can go to. I paid $5 for ice brought to my room which became one big blob within 1 day. I got way more ice than I would have taken for myself. You also need a vending machine since you have no restaurant. If you have one, you need to tell guests where it is.
