The location in North Sydney is excellent. It feels as if you're in the quiet suburbs, and not in a major part of a capital city. The room cleanliness was outstanding, and it's not often you can say that. Rooms are spacious, climate controlled, blackout curtains and a fridge, Great staff. I was attending conferences in South Sydney at the ICC, and this is good location to head out from each day with a little bit of planning. Train from North Sydney can save you a lot in cab fees etc, and you don't need an Opal card as a short-term visitor, as they support debit/credit card NFC to tag-on / off the Sydney trains. They have a garage for hire cars also.

The only additions I could think of, is a shared microwave somewhere, and a filtered water fountain to fill up at.

Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent in the downstairs room, plenty of variety and more than enough to eat. Staff were excellent, and allowed us to drop our bags early so we didn't have to cart them around with us and called a taxi for us when we were travelling to a wedding.

We tend to do a lot of sightseeing during the day and return home at end of day too tired to be bothered going out for a meal - we like to come back and kick back and relax. If there was a little microwave in the rooms and some eating utensils, we could pick up something at some point whilst out and bring it back for reheating. There didn't appear to be any take away shops nearby that we could utilise.

I liked everything about this property, especially the location which is 5 min walk from either North Sydney station or the new Metro station at Victoria Cross. My room was very spacious, huge bed, big windows overlooking the garden and big shower. Everything was very clean and bright. Very generous breakfast as well.

The whole building is very spacious and all white, which makes it feel a bit cold. This is not helped by the staff not being particularly welcoming, especially at reception. The tiny bottles of shampoo and body lotion (which I didn't use) were not very environmentally friendly. Most hotels have now refillable bottles.

The room was so spacious and simply, but beautifully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable and our outlook to the lawn area and other buildings was lovely. The included Breakfast options were more than enough, and the onsite cafe was a great choice for lunch or morning tea. Location and proximity to restaurants, train and buses was excellent, and being able to explore the historical buildings onsite was a nice bonus. We were sorry not to have not been able to stay longer.

We thought the main entrance to the accommodation was very hard to find. We drove past twice before realising where it was.

being able to walk in the footsteps of our first Aussie Saint Mary of the Cross Mckillop, pray at her tomb after having received the Body of our Lord at Holy Mass. Also enjoyed dinner across the road, nice atmosphere but quite expensive. Luckily the restaurant/bar was around the corner as it was raining.

No availability of: a) cooked breakfast.(.only a cold breakfast) b) lunch or dinner unless attending a conference c) for my friend to drop me off at the front door but had to park in the street and carry my luggage through the side security gate d) late check-out which is available at most hotels

Nothing !Felt sorry for the poor desk staff when a cranky guest belittled them because their card stopped working 0930 instead of 10 He went on and on as if it was a major tragedy The desk staff simply were very polite to him as he raved on I suggest you pay them more for dealing with rude people 😂

Great cultural and peaceful stay in busy North Sydney. Lovely rooms, everything one could want. Included breakfast was very tasty with lots of options. On site car parking was excellent, and good value. On site museum and interactive walk through displays are historical and fun.

Difficult security features with carpark. Needs additional key-tag scanner inside the property. Only way to access carpark is with a key-tag. The scanner is outside the main fence. This opens the external gate, and also the garage door. If however you are not quick enough to enter the gate and so the garage door closes it is a hassle. You must then park the car (blocking the round-about) and walk back outside, re-scan the key-tag then quickly jog back to the car through the gate before the car park garage closes again.

We had a wonderful time here. It was indeed more luxurious than we were expecting. Many of the staff were very helpful indeed and it was a restful place. We went to one service and had a meal at the cafe. The lady who recommended you had talked about having 'breakfast with the nuns' but of course everything had changed since then! Fantastic new building and really lovely accommodation. If we ever return to Sydney (sigh...) we will definitely come back to you. Breakfast was great and I was impressed by the attempts to lessen the carbon footprint: so difficult nowadays when people are demanding.

The location is close to both train station and metro station. The room was very quiet, the mattress of the bed was very comfortable, so we slept very well in 6 nights.The room service and the staff were quite good when we requested. I think I will stay here again in case of visiting next time.

the room to elevator was too far and on 4th floor thus no good view window out.

The room was spacious and very quiet with a lovely outlook. The large bed was very comfortable. Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided. Breakfast was free and while not spectacular was fine. Great North Sydney location and good value.

I found the air freshener used by housekeeping was too strong and not great for my asthma. These days, it's very unusual to have this issue in hotels so I hope they will investigate alternatives as I would like to return next month.
