Excellent location and spacious rooms. Pool and kitchenette were an unexpected bonus. Friendly staff. We were able to leave our luggage safely secured until check in time. We were notified when our room was ready.

Rooms are poorly maintained. Wires to the TV exposed. Painting in bathroom is slapdash. Steep stairs to bedroom (not a problem for us, but some people would struggle).

I could see my cruise ship from my bedroom window. The Rocks Markets were only a street away, plenty of pubs and restaurants close by. The Harbour Bridge was only just up the street & the Circular Quay terminal too.

The location to the International Cruise Terminal. The room size was great.

No room service, but there was a kitchen and it was very close to The Rocks

The location was excellent as we were departing on a cruise and it was close to the cruise terminal. The Rocks is also an interesting area, close to shops, restaurants, the harbour, Circular Quay etc. We could see the Opera House from our window. The Studio room was spacious and had a kitchenette. The staff were helpful and offered baggage minding after we checked out.

The room is looking tired and dated. I was expecting a higher standard. Otherwise, the room was comfortable enough for 2 nights. I have back issues and found the bed too soft and not supportive. One reason I booked this hotel was for the pool. When we arrived, we were told it was not heated, nor was the spa. It as also much smaller than we expected, based on marketing photos. There was no attached restaurant for breakfast but a recommendation for a cafe in a nearby mall.

We stayed in the apartment which ended up being one of the original row house on Harrington St (we even found it in a 1901 photo). It was amazing to be staying in such a historic place that is so close to everything! Location was excellent. Wilson clock tower parking is directly underneath with easy lift access. Staff were very friendly. They made up the sofa bed to accommodate us (kids). Has a pool in the complex. Aircon worked well. Quite an experience.

Needs a deep clean and kitchen refresh (cupboards not hinged properly, bar fridge freezer section didn't freeze etc). But the bathroom and bed sheets were clean.

Fantastic location in the Rocks with no traffic noise and easy walking from Circular Quay. 20 mins walk to Kings St Wharf via Barangaroo, 30 to Maritime Museum in Darling Harbour, 15 to city centre, 10-15 to Opera House. Plenty of Ferry connections and only 20 mins to Airport on train Staff were fantastic. Room was massive and had a little kitchenette. A bath in the bathroom was a huge bonus, with great toiletries, including body moisturiser. Great pillow selection with a combination of soft and firmer. I also noticed there were laundry facilities. I was so grateful to be allocated a room with a view of the Opera House. The price was very reasonable for Sydney and I'll definitely stay again.

Other reviews have been negative about the room being dated, but you don't go to Sydney to stay in your room the whole time. I prefer a firm bed but this can be difficult to get in most hotels these days.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property it very easy to get to, a short walk from circular quay station. Very close to the iconic rocks market. Very clean, up to date and close to amenities. Having the kitchenette was a real plus. Lovely place to stay.

A little loud with some of the nightlife just outside your window. Also not invalid friendly as bedroom is up a flight of stairs. Check before booking if they have a bedroom on the same level.

Location is great ......right in The Rocks. Close to Circular Quay and the Cruise Terminal. Lots of restaurants, pubs, cafes, shops close by. We stayed in one of the one bedroom 2 storey heritage Terrace Houses. It had very steep stairs. If you have mobility problems its best to stay in the actual hotel building. Other than the stairs (we are in our 70s) we liked the accommodation. Fully equipped kitchen and separate lounge. We have stayed twice before in the hotel building and would definitely stay again. Very pleasant staff. No restaurant, but many close by.

Didnt like the very steep stairs in the 2 storey house. Too steep for us older folk.

Close to public transport, plenty of sights to see locally. Bed was very comfortable, and there was plenty of seating in the room. The view from the room is beautiful, picture attached. The sun shines right into the window, however the block out curtains definitely keep out the light if you want a sleep-in.

Decor is out-dated including the carpets, however the room is clean. Reception isn't always manned, and I couldn't find the bell when I arrived to check-in. However, I did hear others use it the following day when they were checking in.
