7 nights in total & cost of $750 (roughly) so really an Excellent price! Manager was very accommodating as we weren't sure from one day to the next as to our departure So thank you kindly. Continental breakfast had great variety & was part of our room rate so that was a score, Both rooms extremely clean, neat & tidy. Swimming pool looked great but way too cold for swimming (mid july). Only a short travelling distance to both the centre of town for shops as well as to Tamworth's more renowned attractions (Golden guitar, Exhibition centre etc). All up I can highly recommend & we will absolutely be staying at Tamworth city motel the next time we're in town. Thanks to all the staff for an enjoyable stay!

Very little not to like

Easy to find location. Easy and free parking outside room. Close to where we needed to be and the Golden Guitar tourist attraction. Friendly and helpful staff. Esp when my bank card was acting up. Comfy clean beds. Microwaves and plates and cutlery in rooms. Aircon that worked as it was cold. Lovely dining room with free continental brekkie and best best best. A full gluten free section with separate toaster. 3 sorts of GF cereals and GF bread. So good. So appreciated. Have rarely seen that. We had an 8 night stay and it felt like home.

All good. Exceeded expectations for the price.

Pipes are loud when showering and air con didn’t work at 1st but the air con was sorted out straight away by management An there was confusin with my booking Was told didn’t have a booking 🥲 it was on the past Wednesday ( I said no it wasn’t ) showed my emails an text messages from booking .com Motel had made a boo-boo with the dates Was sorted straight away ( thank god ) After all that the stay was good 👍 Will definitely return again

The service we received on checking was respectable

The rooms were quite old along with furnishings , doors and windows. The bathroom was also outdated, and it took a very long time for hot water to come through and pipes very noisy. Whilst the room was comfortable for our overnight stay, it was not what it looked like in the pictures as above or on the webpage. The service we received was good. We feel the price we paid for our stay was too much for the quality of the room we were put in.

Included breakfast was simple (cereal, toast) but was well organised and we enjoyed it. Tea and biscuits in room were nice. Plenty of parking directly outside of rooms. Location was great - under 10mins drive to anywhere.

Located right next to main road means it is a bit noisy. Mainly outside, we didn't notice that much from inside the room. Cold weather meant towels didnt dry in the bathroom - we had to ask for more towels; which staff were happy to provide. Website lists pool as 'indoor' but its an outdoor pool. WIFI signal wasn't very strong and we ended up using our mobile hotspot instead.

The beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows. The rooms had everything you needed. Also loved that it was pet friendly. The continental breakfast was also great. Different variety's of cereals, bread, juice and milk. The dining room was clean and also had a little toy section for the kids. Great selection of toys also. It's also situated in a great spot and loads of parking. Considering it's on a main road you can't actually hear anything in your room which is great! The WiFi there was also really good. I would stay here again!

A place right across the road to eat as I had just driven for 12 hours from Broken Hill.

I found it very hard to find as both my Tom Tom navigator and phone decided to play up on me. Also while making the booking by phone I believed that I was talking to the Motel Proprietor and had a devil of a time trying to find the name of the motel after the booking was completed as I could not find its name and address afterwards

The convenience of getting back on the highway...

The window in the bathroom was open all night and the plumbing for the sink left a lot to be desired... Instead of a proper 'S' bend PVC pipe there is a concertina pipe held on to the water outlet pipe with masking tape... There was NO ceiling light in the room, but there was a small table/desk lamp...

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Continental breakfast was well supplied with lots of choice including gluten free options. The air conditioner worked very well.

The outside appearance looked tired and the carpet squares a little untidy.

The room was clean and the Continental breakfast was welcome. Tea and coffee was provided, together with plates, cutlery, toaster and kettle. The air conditioning was effective. Undercover parking was a bonus and the location onthe highway made for a quick start to the trip home.

The room was small with only one chair. Traffic noise was audible throughout the night.
