Ah, this is a workers motel so there was a lot of noise till 10pm , not boisterous, just workers unwinding, but the biggest issue was the layout of the room. Room 2 is one of the disabled rooms, so I take it the layout is arranged for that and for some reason the TV was placed behind you so you couldn't lay in bed to watch the TV. We moved the bed to the opposite wall. No USB points whatsoever, there was a USB powered side lamp but nowhere to plug it in!

This was my second stay. It’s good value for money and breakfast is included.

Walls are typical of this kind of motel and you can hear conversations, snoring and TVs from adjacent rooms. The plumbing needs attention. It works, but can be noisy. Someone needs to keep the breakfast room cleared, cleaned and stocked. I saw a guest go to the kitchen to find a cloth, so she could wipe a table clean. Guests leave dirty dishes in the hatch to the kitchen and they weren’t removed. I ended up taking mine into the kitchen.

The motel has aged well and still feels reasonably new. It is not far from a pub for a beer and feed, and maccas.. The included breaky did the job. Parking can be outside your door but I can see the regulatory disabled marked spaces could cause misalignment. The staff was very friendly from front desk on arrival to chatting with house keeper.

Water pipe hammering during the night woke me up

Room very clean. Table and chairs in room so somewhere to eat. Continental breakfast was good with a reasonable variety of food. Walking distance to Golden Guitar and Information Centre and pub and restaurant.

Room very small but cheaper price compensates for smaller room. Microwave available to heat food and table to eat food but no cutlery to eat the food with. Bathroom door difficult to open and close. Very easy to lock yourself in bathroom as handle not big enough to get your hand in to open.

Good comfortable bed away from the road so that traffic noise was not an issue. Being able to have breakfast in a pleasant surroundings was a real bonus and value for money. The breakfast food was healthy and saved time so that we could begin the day without worrying about where would eat.

The only thing that was a little bit of a concern was the shower and the possibility of the floor getting wet when there is no hob. This was overcome by turning the shower head towards the wall.

Free Breakfast was wicked, basic stuff but was really nice they have that. Facilities all round were good. Staff were friendly and chill. 10/10 For a motel for sure.

Nothing really like what you pay what you get meets expectations. We had everything we needed for a road trip so it was perfect.

On the main road coming into Tamworth, the place was very easy to find and not far from takeaways etc. Overall the place was very clean and tidy, I could not find fault in the room, it was dark and moody, a little small but so cosy and quiet. The brick rooms meant that I did not hear any traffic from the main road nor the neighbouring guests leaving earlier than me. The breakfast room was also clean and tidy with plenty of the basics on offer. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was perfect.

The driveway coming into the place was extremely rough and the parking was tight, it was quite hard to back out of the spaces due to large 4WDs either side if me and a fence behind me (and I am what I consider to be an above average driver) so it took a few swings and when I came back, I decided it was easier to reverse into the space even though typically motels don't like this. I was also disappointed that upon check-in I had to stand around for some time before someone came to the counter and then the man was not very friendly, he did not greet me in any way and was quite abrupt and gruff in how he spoke to me. Not a nice welcome after a 10hr drive. I also had to ask about the breakfast as no info was given about this, and then he snapped at me when he answered.

Great price in comparison to other venues at this time.

Our room (9) was perfect in every way, however the pipes at around 10pm were incredibly loud and stayed for the duration of a shower? Perhaps it was the hot water, and continued as each person in the room behind ours showered. After a long day, and with a young person this was frustrating. Would be beneficial to repair this if able to.

Good, reliable place to crash. Beds are comfy and clean enough, TV's have hdmi ports and the fridge is very small. We always stay in the double rooms so others may be different. Simple breakfast layout with coffee, tea, cereal and toast. The brekky room is a good time if the other guests are feeling sociable. There's wheelchair access to the rooms every few metres. Plenty of places to park, ashtrays outside if you need them, washers and dryers available at certain times of day (just read the note on the door) and there's a vending machine with very reasonably priced cans of drink and snacks. Maccas and fuel are a few doors up.

I wouldn't actually change anything, it's a place that knows what it is.
