The room was very well appointed, clean and had a comfortable bed. The receptionist was lovely and very accommodating.

Water spouted and sprayed over the top of the shower door and on to the floor drenching everything including the walls, mirror and on my clothes and belongings on the bench next to the sink. Apparently the shower rose had sprung a bad leak where the rose met the pipe that came out of the wall. It was reported and the lovely receptionist apologized and said she would call the plumber straight away. I cleaned up as best I could using towels to mop up the water.

This is the 3rd time I've stayed here all times for 2 nights and really enjoyed all 3 stays in rooms 12, 16 & 1. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are well maintained with nice bed, lounge, work space, basic kitchen & ensuite bathroom. There's a really nice & massive pool area and a free to use laundry. The continental breakfast contains 6-7 choices of cereals including gluten free, several types of toast, fruit cups and yoghurt. It really filled me up ready to go. There's also a restaurant and bar for dinner which from all reports is very good. It's easy access to both New England & Oxley Highways, not far from the guitar, Scully Park and town centre. I recommend this place for anyone needing to stay a night or longer in Tamworth. One of the best motels I've stayed at full stop.

The location it in walking to Pizza hut, TC's takeaway, mobile service station also down road for MacDonald's, KFC , the long yard pub and the golden guitar and a 2 minute drive to Coles, or a 5 minute drive to big W and Woolworth shopping mall so the location is a great location 😀 and the continental breakfast is to die for the kids got up every morning to have pancake with maple syrup ,cereal ,cornflakes Weet-Bix, rolled oat, rice bubbles , juice ,orange juice and breakfast juice ,yoghurt strawberry ,vanilla and mango with cups fruit the bread 🍞 was white, brown, grain and fruit bread for toasting or sandwich 🥪 and finish the breakfast with a cupper or coffee ☕️ 😀 as well the pool love it and the owners are so friendly and tell you what is going on around us so we was well informed about the area and to entertain the munchkins

After a long drive I decided to stop the night in Tamworth. After looking online and it was getting late I booked two rooms and then drove to the location of Econo Lodge Gateway Tamworth. I was met with a brilliant lady on the counter who was so welcoming and happy to meet us. The room was clean, fresh and perfect for tired travellers. The bed and pillows were so soft and absolutely brilliant. Great hot shower and everything you would need. On check out we were asked whether we would like to stay for breakfast which I would have loved to but had to leave and get to our destination. I will definitely be back to Econo Lodge Gateway Tamworth.

Very comfy beds, good shower, fluffy towels, no highway noise, great continental breakfast available @ $10pp (7am - 9am), helpful reception staff. My partner had had a medical procedure, so we utilised the extra bed in our room, so he could have more space to get comfortable. Short drive to pubs/clubs/Chinese or Indian restaurants. Or, there is a restaurant @ the motel.

Shower recess in bathroom - much of the floor ended up being wet following a shower.

My room had been recently renovated, the bed was super comfortable, the furnishings are stylish and practical, room has a fridge and microwave with some crockery and cutlery so that you can have our own breakfast and light meals in room if you prefer. Menu in the restaurant has everything you could and would expect and the meals were fresh and tasty. EconoLodge is a short drive to centre of Tamworth and is a convenient very short walk to a 24 hour service station.

Room had everything we needed for a 1 night stay, we arrived late and the key box was easy to use. Staff were friendly at breakfast the next morning.

Our room was right near the large bins and the smell was very bad, we could smell it all through the night and the following morning. Super hard beds and the WiFi was touch and go. A fair bit of mould in the bathroom on the roof and the lights behind the headboards were so dusty! Breakfast offering was basic continental breakfast but I would suggest to offer real milk instead of long life & maybe a proper orange juice as the OJ on offer tasted very strange and not like OJ at all. We had a few slices of toast then checked out and went into town for a proper breakfast.

Room has been renovated and is very comfortable and very clean. Lovely spot close to everything including shops. The man at the desk who seemed to be running the entire place was friendly and efficient. The complimentary buffet continental breakfast was a surprise and exceeded expectations, even having gluten free and dairy free options to choose from. Excellent value for money. Heaps of parking and easy wide carpark. Great sized room for a short stay

Only two very small reservations about the accommodation - the main bed is extremely soft, to the point I had to sleep on the single bed as husband and I were sinking in the big one like it was a hammock and squashing each other (we are both on the lower end of standard size for our height and are not tall) - when the aircon is running it creates a vibration all along the wall behind the bed that is crazy loud so we had to turn the aircon off to sleep

Although an older property, the room was neat and clean. The queen bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and when the restaurant wasn't opening on the Sunday for breakfast, the manager gave us a breakfast pack instead. The property was located on the main road into Tamworth however we were not disturbed by road noise, nor could we hear the people in the rooms either side of us. Excellent value for money.

The air conditioning overflow dripped outside our door which meant dodging puddles of water entering or leaving the room. We were expecting to have breakfast before we left on our last day and waited for the restaurant to open only to be told it wouldn't be. We would have left earlier had we known. Perhaps management could put a sign out or email / SMS guests in future.
