It was our 2nd stay and honestly, I wish it were either closer to home or that we had more business opportunities to travel to Tamworth. The room was perfection, comfortable, clean and well stocked mini bard and morning coffee and tea options. Reception staff were friendly and knowledgable. The bar is stunning, comfortable, an excellent range of drinks and just a lovely place to be. Dinner - WOW! The restaurant is beautiful in every sense of the word. Service was exceptional and the food was drool worthy! Thank you!

If I'm being picky, more milk in the room fridge. But such a non issue really as I knew I could've called down for it, but I just didn't bother - so totally on me.

Everything was amazing. The room was beautiful , comfortable and clean. The mini bar was stocked well with a great variety of nibbles and drinks. The restaurant, the restaurant! Wow! Every meal I had was perfection. The extensive wine list was quite a surprise. And the food!! Absolutely amazing. Much praise to the chefs 🙏 I usually have something to complain about and the only thing I could find was the coleslaw was a little spicy. The wait staff were very knowledgeable regarding the food and wine and were just fantastic. 5 stars all round. I have travelled locally and internationally and I have to say, The Powerhouse is a Powerhouse!

Nothing, nada!

Beautiful room with spacious accommodations, clean and new amenities, and a very comfortable bed and pillows (and I'm very fussy about my pillows! The restaurant was superb, with an amazing selection of dishes and drinks, and wonderful, attentive servicepeople. Definitely good value for money! The staff were phenomenal across the board! Helpful, polite, and pleasant at all times of the day or night, even when I stupidly couldn't find the clothes iron in my room, hahaha.

Nothing was actually bad at all! My only difficulty was that the clothes iron and ironing board were in a very narrow cupboard to the right of the wardrobe in the bedroom, which was so seamless it just looked like a part of the frame of the wardrobe. It could be useful if there were a label, or at least a handle on the outside so that it's evident that this is a cupboard! Just to save time for the staff who get calls because guests don't think these amenities are present in their room! Not naming any names... hahaha.

The Hotel and our room was immaculate, comfortable bed, great shower. Lovely outside mineral pool and spa which we enjoyed. The room was quiet. Great restaurant, beautiful layout, ambiance and service for evening meal, staff were super busy the Saturday night we ate there but they were really accommodating and friendly. Location was easy 15min walk to the centre of town. This would have to be one of the nicest Rydges we have stayed at.

We ate at the restaurant. My husband and I travel extensively, in Australia and overseas. I would easily say we received the best meal of our lives. Simple meals prawn cocktail, steak, veges, salad, with dessert. The meal was past amazing!! Do yourself a favour, if in Tamworth make sure you eat at this restaurant. The Workshop Kitchen you will not be disappointed. Staff are also at the next level, couldn't me more helpful. Very professional.

Friendly staff, clean room.

Major flaw was the significant gap present at the bottom of the door to the room. Mosquito’s , crawlies etc. can easily get in underneath the door. Gap wide enough not even a scrunched up towel could easily cover. All the door needs is a plastic cover at the bottom. Additionally the missing door on the bathroom, let in significant light into the room which couldn’t be resolved and was very frustrating. Another frustrating aspect was the location of the room to the entry of the delivery trucks etc. Being woken up early hours of the morning to trucks and doors slamming was not anticipated or welcomed. This lasted hours.

Clean and classy

The breakfast was not explained very well, all we heard was its $30 each for a continental breakfast and that $30 did not include a barristers coffee so we cancelled that request and went elsewhere down the road. Paid nearly $300 for a room, would think a nice coffee would be included along the lines, was happy to pay the $30 but yeah,

Comfortable, quality, well-appointed, very clean room within walking distance of Tamworth centre. Very quiet beside the main road into town from the north due to double-glazed windows

Would have preferred windows that opened to allow fresh air, despite being next to the main road. Don't really like to run fan or aircon all night to avoid feeling 'stuffy'.

Great size room with arm chairs, good bench space. Appreciated the coffee maker and toaster, saved us money on breakfast. Great bench space in bathroom. Bed super comfy.

No lift to 2nd floor, not a deal breaker but would have been appreciated to take our bags up and down. Little bit out of town. Too far to walk for us seniors.

We had a two Bedroom Family Suite was roomy with good kitchenette facilities inc a Dishwasher. Small little courtyard area at the back which could be made more appealing. The rooms were well appointed, and quiet being on a busy Road. Very comfortable beds and room had a bath as well as shower. Parking wasn't a problem at all with a "Big Country 4 wheel drive. Breakfast at the restaurant was very nice with a good selection of Buffet as well as meals you could order. Great selection of Teas and staff were very accommodating with being able to supply Lactose free with to have with cereal.

Were a little disappointed by the Evening meals which were quite expensive and big . We didn't really require an "over the top" dining experience for a work trip and went in search for a Cheaper Pub Meal on the second night - a bit disappointing as we picked Rydges because it had a Restaurant so we would not have to travel to find meals.
