The facilities and service were great. The hotel was also very flexible and I was able to extend my stay day to day due to the uncertainty of my husband’s treatment in the local hospital.

I did find the after hours procedures and entrance to the older part of the hotel - through the carpark - hard to find. I arrived quite late, on a public holiday so the entrance through the back of the Deco Restaurant was quite dark and I was followed by someone as I went through the security gate. This may only be an issue when guests arrive after hours and the restaurant is closed but some additional lighting or card entry on the front entry of the restaurant might be better.

Was a little odd being in the industrial area but it was very nice and quiet during the night, didn’t hear a thing ! Apartment was very nice and spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. Very close to the big golden guitar only a 350m walk.

Considering the price of apartment, A better tea variety would have been nice and most hotels include a few biscuits which this place did not. At the end of the day these things were not a big deal, but it’s the little things while traveling that can make the difference.

The restaurant and bar staff are wonderful. Always remember us and greet us so warmly. The restaurant is a favourite of ours. Starlee, Dovie, Joi and Ly make staying an absolute pleasure.

Unfortunately the hotel now charges for parking and for the EV Chargers. We travel every 6-8 weeks to Tamworth and stay at either this Hotel or the Powerhouse because of the free EV chargers. We will now not just be looking at room cost but unfortunately now having to factor in the added cost of parking and charging our EV if staying at the CH Boutique again.

quiet and relaxing

discussed at the carpark off site. travelling alone and did not feel safe entering or leaving carpark at night. security gate left wide open when arrived and no lighting, thank god a lady was checking on her car when I entered the carpark and she stayed while we locked the gate. Reception was not interested when I mentioned it to them, reply was, that it was staff carparking, requested undercover parking for next 2 nights .

The staff and room is what you would expect from a smart Boutique in Sydney. My room was spacious, clean and the staff were excellent and the bar and restaurant being much better than most big brand hotels. So good to see such a well run and established hotel offering such great services in the country. It's smart and sophisticated. Even a well known celebrity was staying while I was there. Well done and thanks.

Staff, Room, Bar, Restaurant all excellent and all conveniently located in the heart of Tamworth CBD just a few minutes walk from Tamworth railway station.

Good location. Easy walking distance to shopping centre. Parking on site was a bonus plus being secured.

Although having messaged the hotel prior to our arrival we were told the restaurant would be opened on the Sunday night. However this was not the case which we found out when booking in. There was a place available at a short walk which was ok, however, a short message back prior to our arrival informing us of the change would have been appreciated. Also access to the building from the car park area was not well lit but thankfully we had a torch.

Spacious, clean, and so comfortable. It was a shame the apartment was only available for 1 night when we booked otherwise we would have spent two nights there.

My husbands ONLY fault was that he couldn't get the volume button on the tv remote in the lounge room to turn down. Haha. The volume was up so loud and we couldnt adjust it so couldn't watch out there. Not a problem though as there are TVs in both bedrooms!!!

It was huge! Very comfortable, well appointed, and the ducted air conditioning was amazing on a 39’c day.

More security would be helpful. We were woken at 3 in the morning by a woman belting on the sliding glass door trying to break into our apartment. The police had already been called by someone else in the complex at that stage. I think maybe gates and fenced into the complex would be beneficial maybe, given the close proximity to the pub.

Excellent cleanliness. Fresh and modern feel. Central location to town. Stylish deco. Friendly staff. Well appointed room and facilities. Plenty of parking choice.

Our room was adjacent to the lift and stairs just above the dining bar. Made for noise into our unit. Also the street beautification started at 5.30am Sunday with garden blowers and power tool equipment and street sweepers which was not the motel’s fault.

A wonderful stay with happy accommodating staff, nice restaurant with a great breakfast, the king bed could be separated to 2 singles for my and friend and I and the room was spacious. The location was within easy walking distance to shops, cafes and our function at the Services club.

The fire alarm going off at 5.30am due to sprinkler system problem.
