Can totally recommend staying at Froogmore Park Retreat. The Japanese themed room was tastefully decorated, comfortable bed, very peaceful & quite surrounds, lovely gardens. Delicious, healthy and well presented breakfast. Hosts Peter and Sandy were friendly, engaging and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

How unexpectedly eccentric- in a great way! A visual feast indeed. And the outdoors section was extensive and quiet. Loved the breakfast that was additional, but special attention to detail and not your normal expected breakfast made this stand out.

I have not stayed anywhere like this since Europe. The quality of the fit out together with the uniqueness of the Japanese theme created a beautiful presence.The staff friendliness was on another level and couldn’t do enough for you.

we really enjoyed how friendly the owners are and how quiet and Street free it is. The room is just lovely . Very dark and cool to sleep in. Can't wait to go back there. thank you.

It was amazing. Sandy and Peter were very kind and provided a lovely home made breakfast for us. The room was lovely and we loved our stay.

We were welcomed warmly by Peter the host who showed us around and gave us lots of information about our accommodation. The Maroccan King Room is large with plenty of room to lay out 2 suitcases. There is a very large bath and shower with great water pressure. Tea and coffee making facilities and bar fridge with plenty of milk. Our king bed was very comfortable. Our room had a door to the lovely and very big backyard and this was the way you came in and out of the property. We had dinner 1 night up stairs in the dining room and it was delicious. Host Sandy is a very good cook and we really enjoyed our Beef cheeks and wine and beer selection was also very good.

There was only 1 chair in the room. As we were there for 3 nights it means you have to sit on the bed which gets uncomfortable after awhile. There was a day bed in the room which could be replaced with a lounge and coffee table. Not much external light comes in except from the window in the door.

The serenity of the huge garden carried relaxation to every aspect. The location was quite and not far from town. The hosts were exceptionally warm and co operative. Five stars was more than well deserved.

There was nothing to improve.

From check in to check out it was an enjoyable stay the hosts were both lovely and accommodating and the meals were out of this world. It certainly lives up to its star ratings.

Very clever design in themed accomodation. We loved every minute of our time here and were spoiled by lovely hosts. We enjoyed the quiet of the area and it was a very short drive to town.
