Despite the motel being on the main road our room was very quiet. The room was a typical chain motel room, somewhat dated but very clean. It was very expensive for what we got, but we were staying during the Country Music Festival, so all the prices were inflated. It was extremely hot when we were there so we had to leave the AC on all night - it had a 'quiet' mode which meant we could still sleep with the AC on. The bed was extremely comfortable, the parking was right outside the door and we were walking distance to the main commercial area with pubs and restaurants close by. We had breakfast at the motel and this was surprisingly good value for money.

We stayed during the Country Music Festival and the reception staff didn't seem to have any knowledge or information to share about activities that were going on as part of the festival. A ceiling fan would be useful in the room because without the AC on there was very little ventilation.

Comfortable modernised room that was cooled prior to our arrival (Tamworth very hot in December). Centrally located (easy walk to pub in Peel Street for dinner). Great swimming pool area that is amongst trees so plenty shade and quite private as not on main road - one few that we've seen like this in Tamworth (most pools are exposed and so hot and next to main roads).

Only an annoyance - rooms are all non smoking (great) however there were some sand wastes for smokers to put butts in when outside, accompanied by a couple chairs outside our room. On our first morning stay we had a smoker sitting at front room and smoke wafting in through bathroom windows. Moved the sand tray to another area closer to an amenities room.

I am not 100% able to give a proper review of our booked room. When we arrived our room was ready, and when I asked if it would be a quiet room, the receptionist said: not really! I asked if she could swap to a quieter room and she did. So I think originally our room would have been in the main building, now we ended up in one of the units in the side building. The room was generally clean, especially white, crispy sheets and fluffy towels. The best was the restaurant Riviera onsite. The food was great, generous portions and super friendly staff! We had a great evening! So don't go anywhere else, Riviera is a good choice! And as I am not good with 'continental' breakfast, I asked for avocado and egg in addition to the free breakfast, and it arrived beautifully plated on my table: avocado already and topped with waxy egg taken out of the shell and topped with some green! Thank you chef! :-)

The carpet in unit 7 is very stained and looks rather uninviting. The bathroom is also a bit run down. As I said, I am not sure what was meant to be my room, therefore I don't know how well maintained the other rooms/units are.

What went well was to have breakfast included in the reservation cost staying at Best Western Sanctuary Inn. The hotel has a great resturant to have breakfast & dinner (menu has a delicious selection to choose from also). So didn't have to go far at all to have our meals. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable! The hotel was in a great location on the city side where we found it so easy to walk down into the city where everything was happening for Tamworth Music Festival during our stay. However, a great location anytime of the year to stay in Tamworth.

I have no comment as our stay at Best Western Sanctuary Inn provided a comfortable stay and I will come again to rebook for 2025 Tamworth Music Festival & certainly will recommend anyone to stay at this Hotel.

The Best Western Sanctuary Inn was really amazing. It’s in a great location as I could walk to Woolworths and Dann Murphys for supplies and also McDonalds for my coffee in the morning. The room was very quiet and very comfortable. The food from the restaurant was also amazing. I ordered room service one evening and the lovely man who brought my food put some cling film over my glass of wine as it was raining slightly and he didn’t want water to get in my wine!! Next level, thoughtful service.

I had a standard queen and it was a little tired looking. Tbh though I thought I paid a good price and it didn’t really bother me as everything else was above expectation.

Beds were very comfortable. Room was warm without air conditioning in the middle of winter

Staff start moving noisy trolleys around before 7:30am in the morning to start cleaning the rooms. Crockery was provided but if dirty it was not replaced as part of house keeping unless we specifically asked. I would have washed it had there been a sink.

It is so close to a variety of restaurants, as well as Woolworths, and the highway, however, we couldn't hear any traffic. It was pretty quiet. Neat room. Had all you need.

Bed moved around pretty easily as it's wheels on lino floor. Not easy to sit in bed and watch TV. Bed kept moving away from the wall! Lamps weren't plugged in, but we soon remedied that. Minor issues overall though.

Location was good, clean and tidy, good service and surprisingly quiet for room no:1. Location to town, pool. Layout of room(s) suited our needs.

The rates for TCMF - understand business wanting to rape the public and play the market demand but for artists travelling from Sydney and getting paid SFA from venues, its a bit rich on the hip pocket. Its a shame motels cant do a better rate for musos contributing to the festival, more so for the non big timers. Once again I will be looking around for alternative motels for 2025.

Great location. Rooms old but spacious. Breakfast supplied as in continental was good. The staff were helpful and friendly. All in all we would be happy to stay at this motel for any future visits to Tamworth.

Parking was confusing which at one time meant we were parked in by a visitor for some 6 hours. The rooms even though old were comfortable and very acceptable as we had two dogs, the floor when we took our shoes off meant we had black feet which would suggest that mopping was not done. In saying all this we would stay again.

Easy to find, staff were friendly, great central location, was very chilly outside but the air con certainly fixed that. Will look forward to staying here again as it met all my expectations. Thanks for a lovely stay

There were some very unsavoury characters walking around the streets, which made me anxious walking about after dark. While I do not doubt the ground level restaurant would be delicious, its prices seemed too high for my liking!
