Absolutely everything was wonderful! The bed was extremely comfortable, the curtains wrap right around to block as much light as possible when needed, large tv wall mounted in the perfect spot on the wall across from the bed for comfy movie viewing, the shower was large with plenty of pressure and hot water, full fridge and cute kitchenette with everything needed for self catering if wanted. The apartments are set in off the main road making them very quiet with a feeling of privacy. On the outskirts of town but it's a quick straight drive back in for shopping and there is a supermarket along with a variety of take away foods just minutes down the road.

Nothing to dislike at all!

We loved our stay at the Duck Inn! Check in was SO EASY! We received a text message with the door code and that was it. Was great not needing a room key as they can easily be lost. We the simple check in code we were able to come and go easily. The room was extremely clean and well serviced throughout our stay too. Perfect sized kitchen with everything you need! The room has a big bed, big bathroom with the best shower! We’ve stayed in different hotels etc each year for a convention and our stay here by far was the best! This year was our last year in Tamworth so we’re sad we won’t be back, but if we were we’d 100% rebook at the Duck Inn!

Whilst the king bed was comfortable, we did find it a little too soft! (This is just a personal opinion as we prefer a firmer bed) However this would not stop us from returning. We still slept and had plenty of room!

Wow, meticulously cleaned, everything that you need. So very comfy mattress, like sleeping on the clouds. Get for a couple nights stay. Even though it is on a main rd you certainly don’t hear the traffic as it is set back from the road (I’m a light sleeper). Bathroom was big, water pressure was fantastic. Small draw dishwasher was great just enough for us both. Full size fridge, 2 hot plates. Was a fantastic stay, thank you just what we needed. We will be back.

We had to leave!

Duck Inn is an absolute gem. The unit was immaculate, fully service daily, well appointed to self cater. Units surrounded by hectares of manicured lawns with beautiful shade trees near the small complex. The complex is set well back from the road and is very quiet. It’s only a few minutes out of town with easy access to everything. If you are heading to Tamworth and want great accomodation at a very reasonable price then you won’t beat Duck Inn. Having experienced it we now wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

By far the cleanest motel I have stayed. Every comfort was provided, even down to a choice of pillows. Extremely comfy bed, quality linen, exceptional daily servicing, thoughtfully stocked kitchen appliances and utensils, great cold fridge, amazing shower, easy keyless entry, privacy screens between each room with comfy outdoor table and chairs and lovely rural outlook. Exceptional.

What's not to like.

Booked the Duck Inn as it was out of town and rooms looked great. It did not dissapoint. Room was as we expected with all appliances in perfect condition. Exceptionally clean and daily servicing was the only one we had in our 7 week trip. Bed was very comfortable. Could not fault the stay. Although on the oxley highway the traffic noise did not disturb us. Highly recommended

Thought there may be a BBQ but that is not an issue.

Lovely quiet location. Easy to find, away a little from the rush and bustle, but only a short easy drive to everything. Very comfortable and spacious enough for us. Very well equipped room - kitchen well equipped. and cleaning was excellent each night, restocked things as necessary. Air con was good, and appreciated as we happened to be there in some pretty warm weather.

Nothing really

The hotel exceeded my expectations. I stayed there for 7 days. Becky was really sweet and she made sure that my room was neat and tidy every single day. Huge thanks to her!! The location was peaceful and calm which made my stay even better.

Keyless entry made late check in a breeze, room was clean and a great size, bed was comfortable, kitchenette had everything needed for a short stay, bathroom was a good size with an amazing shower, set back from the road it was lovely and quiet. Definitely our go to whenever we stay in the area.

The layout is very functional and comfortable. Guest requirements have been meticulously thought of through design and research. I particularly appreciate the contactless check-in and easy keyless access.

Not dislikes, but suggestions for future improvements. - distance from the bed to the bedside light switch, you need to get in/out of bed to turn it on/off - safety latch/chain on inside of door
