My wife and I stayed at the Carlyle over a weekend and enjoyed our time here! We came over from Canberra after both of us had finished work that night, and the after hours check in was both convenient and super easy. When we arrived, we found that the AC in our room was dripping, but the manager was extremely gracious and offered us another room for the night so it could be serviced the next day. Both rooms were extremely pleasant and comfortable, and we both could've easily spent the day relaxing in our room if we didn't have plans! Unfortunately, the AC dripped again during the night when we returned to our original room, but it didn't affect our stay negatively at all.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the room rate was very reasonable. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. The location is excellent with about a 10 minute walk to the city centre. I recommend this hotel to all. It must be noted that there are 2 floors with the upper floor being accessed by stairs only, and no lift/ elevator is available. Those with mobility issues should request a ground floor room when booking. I will definitely stay here when I next visit Wagga.

The only thing I didn't like was the absence of a Lift/ Elevator to access the upper floor.

The room was lovely and clean. Carpets were plush and made you want to get comfortable and take your shoes off. Lounge was comfy, so were the bed and pillows. We have no concerns with our stay.

There was nothing of concern to report that made us not like our stay. Some small suggestions that we like is having designated parking in relation to the room you are staying in so it is more convenient to keep an eye on your vehicle. Also a microwave and some additional cutlery like forks would be handy when dining in the room.

I was expecting an old worldy place and the motel was terrific. My room was really big, the bathroom recently refitted and beautifully clean. Whilst I was in Wagga we had an absolutely freezing snap and the heating in the room was perfect. Bedding, work table and chairs, TV, fridge etc were all as good as brand new. The lady who greeted me at reception was lovely and it really did feel like country hospitality. The town centre is only 5 minutes walk and there were plenty of eateries even though it was a Tuesday night. I have never been to Wagga and I was really impressed wit h what a lovely clean and orderly regional city it is. There are also parks nearby and riverside walks. All terrific.

There were some very noisy guests early in the carpark on the second morning but that is nothing that the motel can control. It was a very lovely place and location.

Nothing in particular with the hotel itself. It was honestly unreal and I will be back. But we had annoying neighbours with young kids who where playing and screaming all night and early morning. They had a kids show on that was so loud we could clearly hear word for word in our room through the wall. They had no manners at all slamming doors at all hours of the night Really wrecked out stay, where kept up late and woken up before 8am But I understand this is no issue of the hotel their service and the accommodation itself was great

I booked the Carlyle because is was one of the cheaper options in Wagga but we were very pleasantly surprised when we pulled up how lovely it looked. Upon opening the door to the room, we were again surprised it was modern, clean and a great size. My son had a shower and when I wiped up the drips of water on the floor the white towel didn’t have a mark on it. The place was very clean!

If I was to nitpick it would have to be the air con started dripping at 4am on the carpet. So I had to turn it off and mop up what I could and put the bin under the drip. That morning I went to reception it was unattended so I left a message asking for a call back which didn’t come and I then had to go back into reception when we returned in the evening to see what was happening with it. The lady was pleasant but didn’t apologise but they did have someone out to look at it and it didn’t drip that evening so that was great.

Excellent stay overnight. Very spacious room and bathroom, appreciated the complimentary breakfast cereal and tinned fruit bag. The hotel is quiet, very clean and well appointed. The check in woman was lovely; friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the variety of pillows on offer to help with a comfy night’s sleep. Across the road is a walking path alongside the river. The hotel is close to a a major shopping mall with several fast food options and a Coles supermarket, bakery etc.

No pool but I knew that when booking.

We picked the key up from reception, very friendly staff. The room was very comfortable, great shower, comfortable bed. Location is good, across the road from a walking path that runs along the river into the city centre and the beach.

The information on the booking site said there was an on-site cafe for breakfast. This was not the case but we were given recommendations for cafes close by for breakfast. A little disappointing but not a deal breaker.

Location was great, room was very comfortable, bed was perfect. They provided a microwave and toaster and cutlery plates etc as per our request. Was absolutely wonderful.

There was no housekeeping on Sunday! We had no idea why, our beds weren’t made, no fresh towels! Housekeeping was good some days and terrible others. Some days they didn’t even vacuum, didn’t restock shampoo/conditioner, no fresh sheets unless I stripped off the bed and we stayed 2 weeks! Fresh sheets once in two weeks. They never wiped down the counter top, small bits of trash and dust were never cleaned…. The laundry room closes at 7pm, so if you are working all day, all week, there is no way to get your laundry done!

I booked the property 12 months ago to stay during the regional academy games - it looked nice last year when I drove by - so I booked it and it was the best decision ever. Jack was so lovely when I checked in, the parking was perfect, the room was lovely, it was clean and light. Bed super comfortable, loved the little breakfast provided & tea and coffee. Bathroom clean. Staff lovely.

I wasn’t able to get the air conditioner to heat up late last night but was able to add a blanket to the bed so it wasn’t a problem.
