The staff were exceptionally friendly and allowed me to check in early. The facilities were great; the bed was like heaven, the air con was icy/hot and the wifi fast. The location was brilliant with just a short 2 minute walk to the ‘mall’ and Big W, Coles and other specialist shops. The parking was secure and as a solo female traveller, I felt safe. The place was also especially clean, which I value. I would definitely request a room with an enclosed shower next time (I had an all access room for likely a wheelchair user), as the water goes everywhere in the bathroom. But I’d definitely stay here again and enjoyed my stay.

I booked a "Budget Double Room - Internal" as I knew I would be out and about during the day and not concerned about the view. However, this had an unexpected benefit - at night there was less ambient light from outside than I am used to at home, and I cannot remember sleeping as well at any other accommodation than I did at Townhouse. The location is awesome, moments to the main street and shopping area. The staff were all friendly, helpful and professional. There was obviously a lot of careful consideration given to the internal aesthetics and design elements of the hotel. I would not hesitate to book the same room type for future long weekend getaways, but would look at prices for other room types if I were staying longer or was travelling for work. I would have absolutely no hesitation staying here again.

Probably my 4th time annual stay, upgraded to the executive suite this time. I've been before and still have a good time, location is right next the main street. Use of the indoor pool at the aquatic centre across the road is also appreciated.

Parking on the property can be difficult if arriving in the late afternoon, the front carpark gets full and then there is the back alley way with tight spots. The Oakroom restaurant is busy at dinner time open to the public, so I wouldn't be surprised if people take advantage of the parking meant for guests. Having staff verify car licence plates and cameras outside would be a good improvement to make sure guests are actually getting parking sports. Not a huge deal.

Excellent location- walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants. Off street parking for guests is included within the booking.

The windows need to be double glazed. We were in room 109 which faced onto a one way side road which looked pretty innocent by day but we were woken early on both mornings with truck noise down on the street (commercial garbage truck and a refrigerated delivery truck). Would have sworn that the window was open with how much noise came through. Obviously, this will depend on the luck of the specific room location.

Warm, friendly greeting on arrival. Room was well-appointed, and from the look of it, fairly recently refurbished. Great location. Unfortunately, the freezer in the bar fridge was not working properly; the toilet did not always flush ... and when/if it did, it sometimes would keep running; the soap dish in the shower was loose and almost coming out of all. However ... it was the best shower - from a water pressure perspective - that I have ever had in a motel/hotel; absolutely brilliant 👌Oh, and the bed and pillows were really comfy ... and I'm pretty fussy when it comes to pillows. When I returned the key - as I was checking out - I made mention of the three things I commented above. The young woman at reception was very attentive and made note of all in order for them all to be rectified

There was nothing really ... although the freezing not working was a bit of a bummer as we an icebrick we needed to be frozen as we had food that we wanted to keep cold for our journey home

The Townhouse is an excellent four-or-so star hotel in the centre of Wagga Wagga, less than 100m from the main street and about 10 minutes from the railway station. Hat tips go to the room (subject to a qualification below), the cleanliness, the staff and the general ambience in a modern building. I didn't eat at the restaurant, but have heard very good reports. There is also a gym/fitness centre nearby - although I did not use it in the one night that I was there. Bear in mind that not all the rooms have windows that open to the outside of the building. I was in a room whose window opened onto the corridor. The hotel being booked out by customers paying more than me, it was not possible for them to upgrade me to another. Everything else being excellent, I stayed put without complaint. Was it excellent value for money? These days, I'm an old Central and Eastern Europe hand - and EUR 84 or so for the night struck me as on the high side given that you can easily get a Four Star room with full cooking facilities in Vienna - yes, Vienna - for that price if you know whom to ask. Wagga is a great city in a great country, and with a dynamic and diversified economy: however, it is not a major European capital. Let's just say that I'm out of practice with travelling in Rural and Regional Australia. The bottom line is: you absolutely won't go wrong with the Townhouse - and especially if someone else is paying. I would gladly stay there again.

Rooms are very spacious, pillows are the best (I know a random thing to say) however made for a great nights sleep. Restaurant was lovely food was delicious, I enjoyed the mushroom pizza (highly recommend) wait staff a little aloof and spent more time chatting to each other than serving. Back to the room, great as usual travel for work and there was a table and chair bench, seat. They have been beautifully refurbished with felt curved wall lining so couldn’t hear a thing. I’ll be back again

Parking is a bit of a problem, there isn’t much. You will find extra spaces around the back in the laneway for hotel guests which I stumbled across.

Absolutely loved staying at Atuh Forest. Gede and Dayu were incredibly sweet hosts who were very accommodating when it came to organising a scooter, changing my booking dates, arranging transfers, and generally just chatting over meals. The food was incredible and the accommodation was exactly as pictured. Super close to Atuh beach if you're comfy on a scooter

This place is perfect if you want a very quiet stay away from other tourists or bars/western places. Warning that there is very little around otherwise, as unfortunately the other warungs on google maps seem to have closed down

Location location! The fact that you could park your car for your entire stay & walk to shops and restaurants. However, I didn't need to myself as their bar and restaurant was just downstairs. I was lucky to have been moved to a new refurbished room on the 2nd floor. It was much nicer than the interior room I was appointed to originally.

LOUD banging doors to rooms, which was really annoying, as when guests entered and departed without closing quietly was a pain at 5.30am?? Seriously, people, a little respect goes a long way?? I think some insulation around door frames wouldn't go amiss!

I hadn't realised that an interior room in the Townhouse meant a window into the Hall. For some reason (probably because of my experience with Hadley's in Hobart and in Europe) that interior rooms meant they were facing into a courtyard. I kept the slats closed for privacy which made the room very dark. But not a huge problem as I should have checked this but I was in a hurry when booking flights and accommodation as I had a funeral to attend..
