The place was very quiet and peaceful, except for Sundays when there were many bikers in the vicinity. One thing I really appreciated was that they extended my check out time so I stayed in the room till my ride arrived. Very kind staff.

The WIFI taps off every now and then, so you need to reconnect. Water was very dirty too, so I had to let it run for a while. However, they did say they were working on the issue. Location is good, if you are mobile. If you are not mobile, take note of the bus arrival and departure times when planning your stay.

Absolutely love the location such an amazing view of the mountains and river. You will pull up and exhale, your shoulders will drop and blood pressure will go down. Definitely an ahh moment. A quick walk across the road for a meal or browse the local gallery who's artists would rival anywhere. The potential for peace and tranquillity. Many activities to choose from. Large pool. Beautiful drives either side of the township following the river. We were lucky and spotted an echidna such a little cutie. You will love it!

Reception staff were very warm and welcoming. Location was beautiful, nice, and quiet. Internet/motel wifi and phone reception for optus and telstra work terrific. Value for money. Would stay again.

It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room. House keeping needs to step up their game. Both beside tables had a lot of dust, along with the kitchen counter top. The bathroom sink hadn't been cleaned. The milk in the fridge was opened from the previous person, and wasn't replaced. Would be nice to have a toilet brush in the bathroom. Nothing major, would still stay again.

Beautiful setting and super friendly and helpful staff. The bed was also very comfortable and a huge TV available. Small thing but I think this is important these days - lots of power points on each side of the bed and around the table area - to plug in various devices.

The retreat is overall very nice, but it felt a little 'end of season' where a bit of maintenance is probably due now. But such a lovely setting that it really didn't impact our stay.

the rooms are in a resort like environment. the staff is friendly. The pool is nice and trendy and staff extended the open hours for more fun. Can also plan a family event there with some lights and fun (saw one group use it)

initially they had confusion about accommodating an extra bed and required couple of phone calls and clarification to get it setup. they do not have food serving. But 2 restaurants just opp venue

Location was beautiful and a short walk to local cafe and pub. Locals were lovely

Poor timing but there was a mother daughter retreat that took over the facilities and even the back of the local pub. We relaxed on the riverside and it was great but would have liked to use the pool. Ironically was on a trip with my daughter but they forgot to separate the beds after I requested and they confirmed they would. Would possibly return again as great spot for a weekend break and may try again.

Catherine and the team helped set up 11 rooms for a family gathering, a fire pit was available for a charge and we had a great family gathering at the BBQ area. Rooms were clean, comfortable and great value. Location is fantastic. The team put extra cots in the rooms for the kids with us upon request.

Some amenities are being upgraded or repaired following floods last year but didn't impact our stay. Looking forward to staying again! Thanks Wiseman's team and especially Catherine for your help with a large group.

Large, comfortable room in a quiet and peaceful setting near the river. We were there for a function and it was great having a room just metres away from the function centre. Staff was very obliging.

Only tiny complaint was no complimentary biscuits or snack to have with our cup of tea.

We loved our rooms. They were very comfortable & my daughter being next door having great wheelchair access was fantastic.We will definately be back... Thankyou..

The only 2 things we could fault was having no bin for rubbish, especially of a night & not wanting to go out late in the cold & rain...The other was having no dinner size plates, knives & forks when we bought our cooked meals back to the unit to eat...

The photos online do not do the property justice, the garden is huge and beautifully kept. My husband and I had a deluxe double that over looked the river and mountains. Absolutely superb. The room is fairly standard however still lovely with the balcony and windows allowing lots of sunlight in. But your not coming to sit in the room. If your looking to be around nature, away from city life this is it. Great value for money.
