We had a very nice one bedroom apartment with ensuite bathroom and a good size living space with a couch and TV, table and chairs and a decent kitchen. The view from the balcony (with small table and 2 chairs) was great, looking across the marina and the water with some magnificent sunsets. The location was lovely and quiet and just up the hill (200 metres) from the marina with several very good restaurants and a fun bar. We loved that it was walking distance from Mindil Beach and the Mindil Market (Sunday & Thursday evenings) and it was an easy bus ride into town. We also walked into town a few times - about 30 minutes - and we easily saw all of the things we wanted to see in Darwin in a week. We really enjoyed the pool - though it's not large - but it was clean and pleasant and refreshing after seeing the sights. Our bed was comortable and there were plenty of pillows. Though not new (about 30 years old) the resort is well maintained and very pleasant to stay at.

Pretty happy with everything. It's not 5 star but it had most of what we wanted and the staff were lovely and super helpful. We're staying there again later this year.

The lift to all floors! The resort is in a perfect spot - near the city centre but far enough away, with views over the marina.

Turning up at 8.30pm when you’ve been told the reception closes at 9pm, only to find the front door already locked. They did send a text but I didn’t get it as I was still on the plane and then rushing to get there before they locked up. They do have a night contact but it had been a long day travelling and I didn’t want to have to wait for the night person’s attention, as they may have been dealing with someone else. Also I ordered groceries which I was told would be put in the apartment but when we arrived the groceries were still behind reception.

A very friendly Welcome at reception, questions answered, and recommendations "To Do" were valuable. Clean room, good mattress and plenty of pillows. The air conditioning ran very quiet - and reliable as it was a bit warm and humid in Darwin ;-) We had a room, as requested when booking, with a view to the marina as well as the ocean - perfect for watching the beautiful sunsets from our balcony. Walking distance to Mindil Night Market, excellent Greek restaurant "Yots" nearby and a bus runs into town about every hour.

Smoking is allowed on some balconies - lucky for us there was only one occasional smoker a bit on the side. But if the people next door would've been heavy smokers, we would've been forced to stay inside. May be a ban on all balconies will follow in the days to come.

Rang 3 days prior to our arrival to see if ok to book in early, appox 10am instead of 2pm. Not a problem as room will be empty. Brilliant! Until we arrived at 10 am on the day with food to go in the fridge, different person on duty to one we spoke with, rooms not ready and informed 2pm book in... To cut a long story short we were eventually provided a room, greatly appreciated. Besides that hiccup, good stay.

The Staff were wonderful. The position was great. Check in and check out seamless. The view was spectacular if you had a water view.

We had four apartments only 3 received the mid week linen changes. The next door block of apartments started very noisy outside renovations - very noisy for the last three days, no prior notice that it was going to happen.

Loved the location We preferred staying out of the Darwin CBD The bus stop was just across the road from where we stayed making it easy to get around We could walk to Mindil Market Great variety of restaurants in the area. We loved swimming in the pool and using the spa The Staff at Cullen Bay were very friendly and helpful.

There wasn’t much we didn’t like. The hot water in the shower could have been hotter.

Our apartment had an excellent view of the marina and the rooms were spacious enough. Many good restaurants close by. Only issue was there was no shop or supermarket close by to pick up a few essentials like milk and a few beers, but the bus was close and free and Darwin was only10 minutes away.

Great location close to Cullen Bay Marina and a short drive to Darwin CBD. 2 bed apartment was a good size for our family of 4. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and beds were great. Easy to check in late due to our late night flight! Kids loved the swimming pool too.

The rooms are a bit dated, but still comfortable and had everything we needed. Limited undercover car parking spots, but we managed to park on street nearby easily.

Great outdoor pool and bbq area. Suited our large family group well. Great proximity to the marina, casino and Mindil Beach. Fun Beam or short Uber ride to the waterfront precinct. Staff were very accommodating and the two bedroom apartments were worked well for our family group of 17!

Our apartment was located in a position with views across the Cullen Bay marina and some ocean views. All the facilities in the apartment were satisfactory and the air conditioning was absolutely great. Staff were very friendly and most helpful when needed.

Nothing comes to mind. Our stay was, as usual, great.
