Been on the road for a week. New place every night and CQ ticked All our boxes. Old school to the max and we LOVED it. Back undercover to your door. EASY unload of boot. Enough space to lay out two suitcases. Two comfy chairs AND a coffee table. Nice comfy bed, all you need including a microwave. The forgotten art of common sense and customer needs. Well done. And it was the cheapest place we've stayed and the BEST. Highly recommend CQ for your Gladstone stay. There's pub meals across the road and tasty Thai around the corner.

Could not fault CQ as we have at a number of resort and classy places the previous nights, that had No bedside lamps, only one chair, tiny TV's, walk a mile to your room, no microwave etc

As always been staying at this motel many times and never once disappointed. Room was very clean and spacious as usual. Bed was very comfortable and room has a nice view. Parking is excellent and you can park your car right in front of room. Nick the owner is very friendly and welcoming and Nick will make every effort to accomodate one’s request. Location is excellent as it is walking distance to restaurants and cafes. I have no hesitaion in recommending CQ motel for your next business or leisure trip.

The rooms were extremely clean. The location was perfect and the staff were incredibly helpful, even at 7pm when I called with a request. The beds were very comfortable and facilities were great.

If there was one thing, it’d be the height of the pillows. I like sleeping with just one pillow, and the pillows in the rooms were quite thick which caused slight discomfort while sleeping.

I travel extensively for work and was extremely impressed with the comfort of the bed. Service by the staff was fantastic and so was the cleanliness of the room. There is a pub across the road that provided a fantastic meal. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Nothing, it was a great experience.

The room was cosy, but spacious and very clean. 5 stars for comfort because I literally felt like I was sleeping on a marshmallow bed or floating on a cloud, and pillows were dreamy soft. Perfect rest after a long day of travel. Had the best sleep...once I got to sleep ( see comment re: noise) Great communication from the host also. Thank you for calling and confirming the late check in procedure. Much appreciated.

Noise - unavoidable from the patrons at the facility across the road... was rather noisey. Also could hear the neighbours either side of the room I was in, as if in the same room as them. Doesn't take away from the star rating I've given here though, just personally did not like the noise levels at all

It is a good and simple option for one night with everything essential included. We came after check-in hours and self-check-in instructions were provided right away. It was a clean room, quite a tranquil night, and a parking spot near the entrance of the room. It was a good stay for one night!

Cutlery was provided which is great, but there was no sponge or anything like this to wash it afterward.

Perfect central location, extremely comfortable bed. So clean and inviting. Aircondt was quiet and very effective. We were pleasantly suprised and loved our stay. If we have an overnighter in Gladstone again, this is where we will definitely pull up stumps !

Close to shops and across the road from a hotel which had great dinners. Does have a small pool under shade. Car parking is under shad.

Hotel across the road can be loud but all quiet after 10pm. Very limited seating at the pool.

As I had a broken foot with crutches in use, flat ground access to everything was highly appreciated - there is a nice pub (steakhouse) across the street, and all flat/on ground floor apartment with car park right in front of the room (with roof preventing rain from heavily storm) was significantly making my stay easier. Thank you

Can get noisy early in the morning. You can hear people checking out, dragging their suitcases, talking, slamming car doors.
