Location was good - right opposite beach, shops and wedding venue. Room was spotlessly clean, bed was comfortable, and quite quiet for location. The unit had a good sized kitchen and living room, large bathroom including bathtub, and a bedroom slightly on smaller side. Overall a lot more space and more comfortable than a hotel room. Balcony faced highway so a bit of noise out there. All this was communicated by manager before our stay and she offered to refund me the room if I wanted to cancel the day before. Knowing it was a busy weekend, and we would struggle to find something, we continued with the booking and the noise wasn’t an issue with the doors closed.

$450 per night for one bedroom apartment - low floor no views was expensive but probably commensurate with a busy racing weekend on Gold Coast. Very stingy on towels - one small bath towel each (ladies need a towel for hair!) - $10 hire for beach towel and $5 for pool towel. Maybe that’s normal but we expected to find pool/beach towel included in the room or at least explicitly made aware.

The location is great and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Ang & Bronwin were really great. Having laundry in the room was essential to a comfortable 8 night stay. Including having a half bath on top of the full bath; that was very convenient. We were staying here in March and it rained 6 out of 8 days of our stay so parking underground and having a covered balcony area made it comfortable.

The couch and the bed weren't the most comfortable. It was a bummer to not have pool towels available but it wasn't the end of the world. The stand up shower floor would get slippery and I almost fell a few times.

The location and size of apartment.

The property was good, a few weird things, like plastic stick on hooks that looked out of place in such a nice apartment. The traffic and construction noise at night made it difficult to sleep/couldnt have a window open. The room wasn’t entirely clean. Crumbs on the table, hair in the bathroom. The shower flooded out the door no matter what I did, had to use most of the towels to make a dam. There were also a lot more cockroaches than I am comfortable with.

The apartment was awesome! The view, cleanliness, room sizes and decor were all great. After hours check in was also very easy. You can't beat the location, walking distance to everything just wished we had more time to try all of the restaurants.

The Ambience is not a cheap apartment to stay in, and I recommend that a daily amount of dishwasher, laundry, and dish washing detergent and toilet paper be provided. When you are only going to be there for 5 nights (minimum stay and we flew to the Gold Coast) you know that whatever you have to buy you aren't going to use it all and we left behind for the next guest. Also, block out blinds in the bedrooms are needed as the plantation shutters let the morning sun in (no sleep ins). Not in the apartments control, but there is currently all night roadworks happening in Burleigh which also disrupted our sleep.

Apartment was good value, roomy and adequately furnished and well equipped. Large outdoor space and a bath to die for.

Nothing really - we always stay at Ambience when for family get togethers - getting between floors to relatives apartments requires a bit of organisation due to security between floors - just something to be aware of.

50% off breakfast on the weekend at the Burleigh heads hotel was a bonus Excellent breakfast.

Unfortunately the light rail night works were very loud so I had interrupted sleep in saying that when it's all finished it will be a great asset to the area.

The location and view were amazing. We were on the 9th floor and got to see some whale activity. The location was close to shops and cafes and to the location for a pre wedding function and wedding we were attending and could walk.

There were no beach/pool towels available in the room give the price of the apartment.

Big spacious unit! Opposite beach and walking distance to everything! Loved the bath! Sauna, sis and pool!

Could have been more signage around to direct guests to lift in car park! More signage in lifts , way to pool, and back from pool etc.. more instructions / signs on where everything is etc..

Great one bedroom apartment. Very Modern and had everything we needed. Great kitchen. Location and amenities excellent. Comfortable bed. Parking was good too as very busy in Burleigh.

Couldn't get the bedroom TV to work. Alot of construction going on around in Burleigh at the time.

Close to beach, shops

Main bedroom, for the size of the room the bed could use an upgrade to a king size bed and be a lot comfortable. It just looked out of place with what looked like a double bed. Totally out of the management/premises control but the Road works that were being done at night time was absolutely horrendous throughout our entire stay … 10 days!!
