Location was fab, the beach was a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Lots of amenities within a short drive distance and a very spacious apartment to stay in. We were able to rent beach towels and that was a bonus rather than having to lug them about in our cases. Margie was very friendly and helpful in general and particularly with a small ant issue that we had.

The pool area seemed to be shaded for most of the day as it’s next to a high rise building so we didn’t bother using it and went to the beach instead. But overall we had a great stay and I would stay there again.

Absolutely Perfect Stay in Burleigh Heads! We had the most incredible experience staying at the ocean cove accommodation in Burleigh Heads. The location is unbeatable—just a short stroll to the beach, local cafes, shops, and all the best that Burleigh has to offer. It was the perfect base for our getaway, and we couldn't have asked for a better spot. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, were the amazing hosts, Margie and Wayne. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their warmth and hospitality made all the difference. We can’t recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be back. Thank you, Margie and Wayne, for such a wonderful stay!

Margie and Wayne are the best. Lovely people dedicated to your stay at Ocean Cove being excellent. The apartment is very comfortable. Parking on site is an added bonus. The beach is about 2 minutes walk. The main food and shops (James Street) is about 5 minutes walk. Apartment has ceiling fans and air con in the living room and bedrooms. All the joys of the Gold Coast are easily reached by car. There are fascinating walks in Burleigh Heads. You are totally spoiled by the range of eat in or take away food places within a few minutes walk. You get all this for a very reasonable price. We are visiting our son who lives in Sydney. We will be coming to see him again in 3 or 4 years time. We will be booking this place for a week as soon as we know our flight dates.i

Burleigh Heads is having some serious road works done at the moment in preparation for the installation of the light rail system. Some turnings off the main road are closed, others are restricted. However your sat nav will sort you out. This was only a problem when trying to access or leave First Avenue. As the work is likely yo continue for another year, I thought it helpful to give a warning. It in no way detracts from your experience at Ocean Cove, it just adds a couple of minutes and a bit of confusion to arriving by car.

Our room at Oceanside Cove was newly renovated, a home away from home with everything you would need in a 2 bed 2 bath apartment. The Managers were very friendly and take great care and pride in the place which you can see in the rooms, gardens and pool area. A lovely close walk to the beach with stunning sunrise, markets, bakeries and shops. No fault of the Oceanside Apartments but there are roadworks and two giant apartments being built in front and there was some noise, but still a very short walk to the beach and it didn't phase us. Thank you for our stay.

Huge apartment. A bit old but clean. Beds were very comfortable. Fast wifi connection and smart tv. Kitchen is well supplied with necessities plus a few extras like condiments, milk, sandwich bags, etc. Managers were very professional and always ensured we had a pleasant stay.

No lift, a bit difficult to climb stairs if you have big suitcases. Few powerpoints in rooms, and needs a light on the second bedroom other than the lamp. Hope second bedroom has shelves or cabinets for clothes.

Hosts were super-accommodating and really lovely, great communication too, really good size and well-appointed unit. lovely crisp and clean linen. Less than a block to the beach.

A shame the unit built between here and the beach blocks the view, but no view was offered, so it's not really a minus. Streets are mostly blocked for construction at the moment, so you need to be aware of that when finding the property - again, this was communicated to us ahead of time, we knew about it and anticipated the issue, so no negatives here.

The hosts (Margey & Wayne) were exceptional throughout. The location was ideal, close to cafes, bars and restaurants as well as beach. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed.

No way is this a reflection on the property but there is a lot of construction going on nearby (installing a light rail) so it was a tad noisy at night.

Very neat. Clear instructions. Great location. Great to have a secure off street parking. Owners very friendly and helpful. Lovey older style of building.

Well, scaffolding at every window. Fortunately on a weekend we were fine. 2 tea bags and 2 instant coffee bags for 3 nights accomodation a bit sad. A couple of treats eg biscuits also would be a nice gesture. Coffee pod machine very standard in nice rentals these days. Sad that this little place will be surrounded by high rises in 12 months. Awful. Fan did not work in the main bedroom (well apparently it did but I could not figure it out).

Oceanside Cove is a lovely apartment block right by the sea and is well equipped. Wayne provided us with local information about the best routes for walking and where to eat and drink. The beach itself is stunning with the national park nearby. We were close enough to everywhere on the Gold Coast with our location. We didn’t use the pool as we were out and about but it looked clean. The whole property as spotless throughout. There was underground parking provided as well. Would not hesitate to recommend and if we ever come back to the Gold Coast would definitely stay here again.

There is significant construction work ongoing around the whole Gold Coast with a new light railway with building work ongoing next door. We were informed of this before and the price reflected this so nothing that the proprietors could do.

Such great, friendly service. It was really easy to add an extra day on when my flights got changed. Margie was so helpful. Parking was secure. Great location so close to the beach.

I had a pram and I was traveling with two small children without my husband. It was difficult getting the pram up and down stairs, in and out of the car every time we wanted to go for a walk.
