The location was excellent for access to the beach and also the shops as we did not have a vehicle so were able to walk everywhere. The room was fantastic. The furniture and beds very comfortable. The pool and spa were clean and at a good temperature. The area surrounding the pool was also clean and well serviced. We were fortunate to have a room at the front of the resort which was much appreciated. It was great to be able to see the ocean. We loved the fake grass on the balcony and appreciated the outdoor setting to sit and relax. The only down side to the room was the traffic noise, especially at night. We arrived after the office was closed and the late check in process was easy. We also appreciated the opportunity to have a late check out on the morning we were leaving.

The lift that lead to the street meant walking past the rubbish area. It was a little smelly and the area could be better kept clean.

Great service

Swell resort is in such a great location. Short walk to main shopping strip's, beach and bus stops. I really choose Swell for the pool, it's large enough that you never feel cramped by other guests and also it's nice and deep. We checked in after hours and the process was very easy. My son enjoyed the gym facilities and liked that it was open until 9pm. We appreciated the European laundry and also the well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms had ceiling fans and the unit was also air conditioned. Block out curtains was also a bonus. Resort is nice and secure at night also .

A few things we didn't like mainly because we paid peak January holiday prices. Hairdryer was tiny and also broken No clothes hangers in wardrobes Complimentary tea and coffee but no milk? The room we had was a little bit dated compared to other rooms that we have stayed in at the resort . A second tv in one of the bedrooms would have been good as the living area was quite small.

Such a great location for young families! Walking distance to the beach, Woolies, frozen yogurt with a pub connected to the resort via the parking lot. 30 minute drive to Wet n Wild, Movie world, Sea World and Pacific Fair. Under a 10 minute drive to Stocklands.

There’s no housekeeping at all. You have to take your own rubbish to the bins located near the lifts or in the car park. Paying just under $3k for 1 week and not having housekeeping at least once over those seven days is was a bit annoying that’s the only reason it wasn’t 10/10. If you can overlook this, great property and bins areas aren’t overflowing, they’re kept very tidy.

location was ideal for our family, the beach is an easy walk, there are plenty of nearby restaurants and grocery stores, even a library across the road and a 'Sip n Paint' shop around the corner. Having access to kitchen and laundry facilities within our own room was excellent and well used by our family. The tv had foxtel, with a screen in the lounge area and one also in the bedroom. The pool area was also fantastic. Check-in staff were friendly and approachable. The aircon was excellent, and the beds and sofa were very comfortable. our room also had a walk-in robe with plenty of hangers. Parking was secure, you needed a fob key to access the parking area and because it was assigned parking, you always had a spot to park your car.

I would have preferred dishwasher tablets compared to the powder pouches, it would have made a difference to the cleanliness of the dishes, 2-3 tablets in a reusable container could be more environmentally friendly than the disposable plastic pouches that are currently being used. The bottom tray of the dishwasher in my particular room was rusty and the plastic had begun to unravel from the frame- however, handwashing was also an option so it was not a real issue. Perhaps the toilet by the pool area could be updated - it was not as well appointed as the rest of the facilities, our young kids found it dark and a little smelly.

Fantastic accommodation! We arrived afterhours and the pre-arrival email explained how to check in well enough without physical staff assistance. When we went up, we were pleasantly surprised how large and beautiful the space was. The apartment had all the basic necessities for a family away from home, like extra blankets, smart TVs and a full kitchen, including microwave, toaster, oven and more! The small thoughtful touches like pool noodles for the kids, picnic basket, some beach chairs etc. really made the stay that little bit easier and special. Pool, spa and gym access were the icing on the cake! All were easily accessible and well maintained. We had a great stay and look forward to staying again.

We stayed a week and would've been great if we had a mid stay check-in to see if we needed fresh towels, toilet paper etc. instead of having to ask. Also, beds were not to my liking at all and i had a sore back each day, but that could be personal preference.

We had a spacious two bedroom apartment that was well furnished and had everything we required. A/C was easy to control and very quiet. Very handy to village cafes and the beautiful beach. Nice pool when finally available. Secure underground parking.

We received an email 2 weeks before advising us that the pool would not be available because of upgrade/repairs. We were told that the contractors had let them down but after ringing we were told that it should be finished on arrival and available the following day. This was not the case and it was not available for half of our 9 day stay. No apology or compensation offered on arrival but were told the tennis court and gym were still available. - Not good for seniors in hot weather! The pool is the main feature we look for when choosing accommodation. Although not the property owners fault we had to put up with road construction and building work noise in front of our apartment. This is due to the laying of new tram lines which will be ongoing for the long term.

Great location. Very large and spacious apartment with everything we needed. Very close to the beach. Convenient parking. Restaurants and shops within a few hundred meters

We needed a cot for our two year old and booked this in advance. The cot was provided but with no mattress - just the hard base. When we enquired at reception, the lady there could not have been less interested. As my wife said, she barely even looked up to look us in the eye - not even remotely friendly or helpful. So we just used the extra blankets in the apartment to make a mattress., but something for others requiring a cot to bear in mind. Our son was comfortable enough, so it was really just the attitude at reception that was the only negative aspect at all to our stay.

Location was great, close to everything. Kids loved the pool. Rooms were spacious. Everything was clean (except the very dirty exhaust fan). Having foxtel was great. Overall we had a great trip.

A second set of keys would have been good. The room needs more than one tea towel and more than a thin towel each. Pool towels would also have been great. If we are given such few towels and are expected to wash our own then we needed more than two sachets of laundry liquid. When flying interstate you expect to buy food but not laundry liquid, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid and dishwasher tablets. Would have been great to have found some body boards or sand toys to use at the beach and a few tennis racquets to use, these could be stored in the car park locked area. The fly screen in the lounge room was broken and couldn’t be used and we were very cautious of the very unstable coffee table. Perhaps it would be good to warn people that the room does not have block out blinds.

Gorgeously decorated apartment, great view, incredible location. love the floorplan, great separation of the 2 bedrooms. Grateful for all the kitchen kit!

Pool wasn't operational when we were there. They did let us know but by then it was too late to find an alternative location. Not a huge fan of the no contact check in and out process, we had questions but had to ask other guests instead. Don't mind if that's the way it's going but the room probably needed a book/folder then explaining everything. Also, little weird but the bin rooms were locked. Only an issue because we had to take all our rubbish from the apartment when checking out and in the end had to take it to a bin on the street.
