We have stayed at the Kondari quite a few times because we like the hotel and the food and also the proximity to shops etc

This time, the room we were given was not to the standard of the other rooms we have had. The bathroom wash the main negative. The shower had been modified for disabled so the door didn’t close properly unless you pulled it from the top. The screen had a very lady crack and the water leaked from under the door. I found this to be not to standard especially for a disabled person. With the water leaking, I wound be very easy to slip. The wooden vanity was water damaged. We have never had a negative stay but in this instance I did want to bring this to your attention.

We were pleasantly surprised with the Superior Queen and Single Studio, having initially based our expectations on the photos from Booking.com. The room exceeded those expectations—beautifully renovated with modern furnishings and a stylish, contemporary design. The beds were comfortable, and the overall atmosphere inside was inviting and well-maintained. The booking process, as well as check-in and check-out, was seamless and efficient. The location is also convenient, just a 15-minute walk to the pier. We would definitely stay here again.

Around the hotel itself and outside the room was a bit dated (you can see they're in the middle of renovating other rooms too)

The staff were awesome and very helpful 😀 Polite and kind. The room was spacious and kitchenette was quite good. Ducks were gorgeous 😍 Turtles galore and CUTE friendly Possum's.

Could do with a facelift where shower previously leaked. Bed was far too soft. Sunk and almost disappeared into the mattress. Not good for my partners or my back. No tissues on bedside or bathroom. Door was very loud squeaking and had to use force to close as it was too tight against Door jams. Would not be able to sneak in, or be courteous for other neighbours sleeping. Screen Door squeaked and then took 5 mins to close and at the last minute SLAM shut. Water hens were cute, but damn were they loud screaming at each other in the dead of the night 🌙 lol

The pub was great, food was delicious and the room was clean and tidy. Young girl working in the pub with the long brown pony tail was exceptional! You could tell she enjoys her job. Location is really lovely and super relaxing.

Price of the food was a little more on the expensive side. Some staff didn't seem to cope with having a busy restaurant and function at the same time and my husband actually had a bit of a run in with someone who appeared to be the manager. He said it was some of the worst customer service he had ever experienced and when he expressed his disappointment she said she was pissed off with her staff. Whilst we also appreciated that out rooms were clean, they did seem to go over board with bleach. We had to air out the room for a couple of hours due to the strong bleach smell giving us headaches.

The staff were so beautiful, so warm and helpful and friendly. The room, the grounds, and the pool were lovely. Room felt lively and clean and the bed… I have never slept on a more comfortable bed!!!!!! It was perfect!!!!

Nothing. But heh pingpong table yes please!!! Ha ha And being a tech tragic I didn’t know how to get Netflix to watch a movie. Think it wanted a passcode. Maybe an instruction sheet would be great for people like me! Ha ha

Everything. It was a fantastic stay, room was spacious and well maintained. We went round the grounds and found the lake and heaps of turtles which the kids loved watching. Having the bistro on site was great too, great service and food too. Check in was efficient and team member lovely and helpful. Having basketball court/tennis was good we didn't get to use it as we didn't have anything with us but on our next visit we will use them. We look forward to returning here

New bathroom facilities and lake added a water view and the meals were enjoyable at the adjoining hotel

A little distance from other facilities would make it hard for older people without a vehicle…parking was also limited close to the unit. The stairs made it impossible for our elderly relative to visit our room that I was unaware of these.

Kind staff at reception. The mattress was a bit too soft for my taste, but still, it was comfortable, everything was very clean, the room was beautiful, and just like in the photos. The restaurant is just right there, 1 or 2 minutes walk. Everything is close, if you need to get food or drinks, overall divine! Very happy with this experience.

It looked like the room was recently renovated. It was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. We look forward to coming back and seeing how the rest of the renovations look. Food in the hotel was good and staff were great. Definately be back and requesting the same room with the great outlook.

Going home

Dinner at the bistro was fantastic. Would definitely go there again. Delicious and large portions. Kids meals come with a drink and ice cream too. There's a play area. Comfy beds and pillows. Despite the global system outage causing affects to this business as well, the staff were lovely and caring. I'm sad others were not nice to them in a tough situation they couldn't control.

Occasional cigarette smoke smells in the park from other guests.
