The view from the balcony of the Boat Harbor was wonderful, Location was close to restaurants. The one bed room apartment was spacious with plenty of room for two people.

We could not use the balcony all the time due to other guests smoking out on their balconies and the smoke and smell was over powering.

The marina view was really good, pity the weather didn't make the balcony worthy to use but it's June! With 2 towers, a mariner view is going to be with 2 different outlooks depending on which tower you're in.

The room itself (motel style) was a little dated with a corner spa in bathroom but that means the shower is in it! Don't need a spa these days, that's the 90's, a good shower that's easy to get into is what's needed! This is the first motel type room we had on this trip without a microwave or plates. Yes there's rooms with a cooktop etc but motels have microwaves!

We had a two bedroom pool access room.We loved the convenience of being able to easily access the pool. We also liked the views from the pool over the harbour and the proximity to the boat club. There was a bus stop just a couple of min walk away.The accommodation is located close to where all the boat trips depart from , which is very convenient.The reception staff were excellent and very friendly.

The decor is a little dated but we still loved the apartment. The shower was over the bath , which is a bit dangerous, but they do give a non slip mat which helped .

Views and pool were great. A 20min walk into bars and restaurants in main part of town. Rooms were clean with good balcony. Value for money.

Unfortunately as it was January, the restaurants in the immediate vicinity to the hotel, which we’d intended to frequent, were all closed despite the perfect weather. I suppose everyone needs a break and it is the quieter time of year. But it meant we had to travel every time we wanted to go out. We didn’t mind getting our steps up before brekkie every morning, it was a nice walk along the beach, but keep in mind (or drive).

We were late arriving for check-in after Google Maps sent us on a wild goose chase. However, on arrival, I was put at ease with the friendly and caring approach of staff. Our room on the 5th floor was lovely, as was the view from our balcony. A plus for us was the short walk to The Boat Club for dinner. And an easy walk to a cafe for breakfast. We had a lovely nights stay and are planning to stay at The Mantra Harvey Bay in the future.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. However, when we book in next, I will be requesting a walk-in shower as my disability has progressed, and I can no longer step up into a bath.

The view from the balcony south ovetr the Great Sandy Strait and over to K'gari/Fraser Island (inspit eof terrible weather). Also, the nice lady at reception obliged with soup plates and putting our stuff in their oven (because our room did not have one). I had a bung shoulder and the spa bath sort of has fixed it, which is good. Secure parking was secure. The location is ideal too. Actually, the bathroom was great - spa, clean, water pressure strong, but ...

... water pressure in the kitchen was woeful. At first, struck by various rules, like keeping closed the bathroom door so as not to set off the smoke alarms and risk a AU$1,310 bill calling out the fire truck. But it turns out the warn you from the front desk before it reaches that level.

The apartment was spacious and provided a perfect view over the Marina, Kitchen was adequate for preparing meals and laundry facilities were perfect if longer stays were planned. The bathroom was well supplied with all the toiletries required. If watching tv is in your holiday plans then you are well catered for with one in the main room and another in the bedroom. Beds were very comfortable and there was very little noise of an evening or night to disturb your sleep. The hotel is close to all departing tour boats and a variety of eateries catering for all tastes and budgets.

Some finishes were showing signs of wear, not enough to detract from our stay in the slightest though.

Although the apartment was small, it was very comfortable & perfect for just the 2 of us. the view was gorgeous overlooking the harbour & the location excellent.

I would be hesitant to stay in summer as there wasn't any aircon in the bedroom, although it did have a ceiling fan, I wonder if the aircon in the lounge would be enough to reach down the length of the hallway to the bedroom, also there wasn't a dishwasher, otherwise great.

Location was excellent. Configuration of room was good and very much appreciated the walk in shower recess

Was ver disturbed at people smoking on the next balcony . We informed them twice that it was a Non Smoking Accommodation. Which they ignored !! Very upset for me as it was a getaway weekend prior to me having spinal surgery as I was in compromised health found it very disturbing. Plus it has been now legislated in QLD Government that smoking is now banned on all balconies. So maybe smoking detectors be placed on balconies.

We spent 4 nights here in a one bedroom apartment in Tower 2 & overall we enjoyed our stay. We had a 5th floor corner unit with partial views of the marina. However we also had views over rooftops to K'gari from the bedroom window & balcony. Our apartment was clean, attractively decorated and reasonably well equipped. The location was really handy for the whale cruises.

Secure parking is good but it appears there are not enough bays as we saw frustrated drivers going around & around trying to find a spot. We made sure that we didn't need to use the car later in the day in order to have a parking spot. The only other issue was the shower being over a spa bath which was difficult for us to to climb in & out safely (we're not as agile as we used to be!).
