I loved our spacious clean n comfortable apartment. It was in a private bush setting with lotsa creatures like water dragons , birds ,kangaroos which we could see off our bbq and back deck area The pool was clean and fun. We used the facilities at Novotel and went on the catamarans, paddle boards,canoes and swimming in the tropical pool areas and spa .The kids were able to get body painting and tattoos plus they were able to feed the fish 🐟 which my granddaughter loved .This was all free such a great bonus. We will definitely be going back there .

That i didn’t book it for long enough.

We loved the view and having the bedrooms each with its own ensuite worked our perfectly.

There was a lack of visitor car parking spots. In the bedroom with the two single beds, the shower rail needs to be more secure to the wall. The kitchen needs a chopping board or two. On the website, the apartment reads as if the kitchen comes with a coffee machine - probably best to change this to say that the apartment comes with a coffee plunger. It would have made things easier if there was a couple of extra dishwasher powder sachets, dishwashing liquid sachets and t-towels. Although you can't do anything about this - we struggled to get an uber or taxi to arrive at the hotel.

We had a room upgrade and it was sensational. The staff was incredible and particularly John who is wonderful with kids.

The food had declined a lot since I first stayed last year and is unaffordable for most families. $80 for 3 of us to eat a buffet breakfast was a shock, and $30 for a simple burger was extreme. The quality I found patchy, I ordered fish and chips and the fish tasted old. Happy hour would be nice as drinks at the bar again are extremely expensive if you're staying more than a few nights.

Loved the location, 5min walk to the beach. Nice pool at a comfortable temperature. Gorgeous gardens to walk in. Convenient being able to use the Novotel pool & bar/restaurant. Private & safe gated property.

Dirt/sand found under the lounge rug. Beds were uncomfy & a little small. Shutters in the main bedroom upstairs opening onto the lounge, so zero privacy & zero sound proofing. When in the bedroom you could hear everything that was going on in the lounge below, so not great for parents trying to sleep in when the kids wake up early. From the lounge, you could also clearly hear conversations going on in the bedroom above. Upstairs balcony was covered in Funnel Web Spiders, so didn’t use it.

Breakfast was not included as we rented a beach house. It was roomy, had multiple lounge areas, a pool, two bathtubs, two BBQ's, a pool table, basketball hoop and a well equipped kitchen. It was perfect for our stay as we had a family group ranging in age from 7 to 80 years old. We also really appreciated the air-conditioning during the hot humid weather over the weekend. It was an easy walk to the beach and Maroochy River. It was a pleasant 10 minute walk around Twin Waters lake to the resort and it's facilities. The boys really enjoyed sailing & kayaking on the lake. It would be good if the menu at Sola restaurant was expanded to accommodate vegetarians and vegans.

Air conditioning in the dedicated restaurant area. Also need to advise renters that the spa bath and pool spa were not working.

The place is laidback perfect if you want a relaxing weekend this is the best place, checking in and out is a breeze.

The apartment smelled like moulds, my husband has allergies to dust and as soon as we arrive he did not stop sneezing until we checked out. Also the coffee sachets we expired went to make a cup of coffee on our arrival only to see that the granules were clumped and grey in colour looks like been there for years. There’s a barbecue but no tongs in the kitchen. Door on the toilet in the main bedroom is always stuck I think it needs oil.

Excellent spot for young families.The views were gorgeous, balcony was lovely. It felt like home away from home. The pools were great. Access to the Novotel pool and private beach was a big bonus. Our daughter loved playing on the beach in the sand and Novotel supplied kids beach toys. The apartment was fantastic - it had everything we needed including a dish washer and washing machine which is essential with a toddler.

The balcony railing seemed a little unsafe for toddlers because it's angled, so it looked like a toddler could slip down off the first story just by stepping too far forward. The apartment needed a brush and shovel or vacuum for tidying up as the apartment is not serviced. More towels, and cleaning supplies would also have been helpful. The Master bedroom bed was very soft and the pillows were very tall - it wasn't good for my back or my husbands.

Great location, we had access to 3 pools, the lagoon, the beach and the Maroochy river - all within walking distance! The property was spotlessly clean. Parking was secure and the neighbourhood was quiet. Wonderful place for a relaxing holiday.

The dining options at the adjacent Novotel resort were not very good - food was very ordinary. You are better off self catering (supermarket is close by at Paradise Paradise) or visiting local restaurants in nearby Mudjimba or Maroochydore - however you will need a car to do this.

Really family friendly spot we had a great time with friends all in apartments next to each other. Staff were all so lovely and helpful thank you.

More options for food onsite would be great / bigger menu / breaky burgers / snacks etc. It would be great if the kayaks etc were available earlier than 9am. 2 of the 4 katamarans were out of action waiting on repairs.

We travelled as a group of 18 so the space for everyone to spread out was fabulous. Lovely apartments, with a view of the lagoon, the beach house was fab. It’s a great location, a walk across to the Novotel and handy for the golf club and airport. To go anywhere else though you’ll need a car, cab or Uber, neither of the latter two were that reliable for us.

The weather was lovely, 22 degrees, but it was winter and the pools aren’t heated, such a shame for all but especially the kids - we would have paid extra to be able to swim. Kids did love the arcade room and the older ones enjoyed the on water activities. Breakfast is expensive. Dinner ok.
