Clean and comfortable bed. This is a basic no frills offering. Everything worked and was functional, shower was a small space though amd the water pressure had odd moments. Pub adjacent served great food - as a single lady traveller, it is worth being aware this is a tradies pub (be ready for the Friday night cohort). Everyone was friendly etc. just loud at times. Parking - option to park in shopping centre carpark felt a bit odd and removed from location, but the unlit carpark next to the motel wasn’t ideal. No breakfast options available at accommodation, need to get in the car for breakfast.

The room was clean and comfortable. The room was close to the shops and beach. Complimentary water was appreciated. The room was spacious and with the balcony door open there was a lovely afternoon breeze.

The smoke detector went off both nights without any warning. This needs to be looked at. The room would have been very quiet had this not happened and it was very annoying. I also heard another alarm going off during the night as well. The outdoor table needs replacing as the Laminex was peeling off and chipboard rotting.

My stay was for 2 nights however room key was only set up for 1. Travelling alone, got home very late on my second night and could not get into my room...this was extremely distressing, luckily someone was at reception to help..he noted the key defaults to 1 night...More care needs to be taken with this. Not a nice experience to not be able to get into your room late at night

The bed was comfortable and the curtains assured privacy, it was reasonably clean. Location was perfect.

Table and chair was a little basic. A microwave would have been good. I had trouble working the TV and there was a cockroach but its hot weather so you do get the odd one. Noises in the roof woke me up a few times the first night there, noisy tenants upstairs maybe? There was a noise that kept emitting randomly from the aircon.

It was raining alot and we arrived at our accommodation 30 minutes earlier than check in. I called and asked if I could check in early and the lady said yes. The staff were so accommodating as I had my baby and 2 small girls with me, it made the trip so much easier. The room was right next to the pool which we were grateful for. Everything worked as it should be and the bistro was definitely walking distance. The food was yummy and they had a kids area to keep the little ones entertained

The room smelled heavily like cleaning chemicals upon arrival.

We were visiting family who live nearby, so the location suited us perfectly. Staff were friendly and responsive, parking OK, hotel dining and bars overlooked the canal and boats nearby. Easy walking distance to supermarket and shopping centre; short drive/ride to nearby beaches and river. Recommended.

We have stayed here for the last four years due to booking the apartment and being able to cook our own meals. Location is ideal for our purpose of travelling.

There was a bucket on the floor in the middle of lounge area as there were leaking holes in the roof. Every year we have received a breakfast pack for every family member for the duration of the stay, except for this year so we had to go and purchase these items. We could not access the pool area until the hotel opened as our key did not work on the back gate.

It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and the restaurant had great food.

I didn’t like the location behind a mall in the car park. Sometimes after going out we couldn’t find a car park in the designated areas. Maybe behind Dan Murpheys, the car parks should be marked by room numbers so you always have an allotted car park during your stay.

The room was clean and comfortable. The drink tickets and discount at the bistro was a nice surprise. Great atmosphere to watch some footy. Very easy to walk or drive to restaurants and shopping.

The shower is probably the smallest I've ever used on land, outside of in a caravan. It was more reminiscent of a ship lav than a hotel shower.

Location was fabulous in the marina and shops but didn’t like the fact that it had shared car park as it didn’t feel secure. Young people loitering some had a bit to drink. But having the backdrop of the marina and a fabulous bar and eatery was a plus. Staff very helpful
