I have stayed here before and knew what to expect. It is a basic motel with no frills but is clean and affordable. Walking distance to shops, KFC next door and several hotels that serve meals.

A little more care in what is provided in the way of tea/coffee in the room. Two sachets of coffee and no biscuits for a 2 night stay is not a welcoming touch.

The location is a nice surprise if you haven't been to Eaglehwak. It is a short walk to the lovely historic township and a further shortish walk to two very nice lakes.

I felt the car parking spaces a little tight and not easy to navigate (weird parking angles marked by the lines). We also had someone back into our car without leaving any notice and making a decent tear in the rear quarter panel. The manager was as helpful as they could be, but we couldn't track the offender down. We will need our insurance to cover the 5-6k of repairs. So, I would consider parking on the street if we ever stayed again.

We had a minor ant issue in the mornings when we woke up - nothing major. There was a can of bug spray in the apartment already there to sort out the issue. Good shower pressure which is always a bonus & the A/c was on for us on arrival (it was a 35 degree day).

A small thing but we were short of cutlery -3 people staying with 2 bowls, 2 large spoons, 1 tea spoon, 2 plates. Also we had only 4 tea bag’s over the 3 nights stay with no one replenishing them & every time we went to the office, it was closed.

Lovely clean rooms, we were able to have a look into a couple of other rooms as, coincidentally friends were also there. The room which had a spa looked remarkable. The bed was comfortable and the linen was very fresh. Good television reception and an efficient little fridge. The car parking is clearly marked with plenty of space for turning vehicles. Plenty of extra street parking in the street behind the motel, for extra cars. Nice, quiet area.

There was nothing to complain about.

Accepting our dogs to accompany us. Easy to reach and providing sufficient parking. Spacious bathroom and nice shower. Little practical kitchen area and enough space for our dog's sleeping space. Also nice to have a little sofa in addition to the two chairs.

The rooms look a bit dated. But as long as everything is functional, I am happy to accept it for good value for monwy and the fact that they accept pets. Also, the motel is a bit remote for seeing Bendigo. But then again, you are here by car, aren't you?

Wow, opened the door to a lovely white sparkling room with a huge SPA ,unexpected !! Everything was crisp and clean !! Need larger glasses on tray I found toaster and kettle too far back in bottom cupboard, hard to reach for an oldie PERSON ! Loves it had many power points that also had USB connections in them,, needed in this crazy world of charging !! Pity I wasn staying longer to enjoy the spa,,next time perhaps @@

The people next door had 2 yappy dogs,,, Also the carpark was a bit tight, ,As I was in room 1 was a bit hard backing out ,,,

It was close to shops.... room was clean.. tidy...not noisy.... Only downside was when you opened your door had smokers either side sitting on chair one side.. leaning on their car other.. not sure how you can prevent that but wasn't pleasant....

As above.... smokers either side of your room... you walk outside straight into it.

Bed was extremely comfortable especially after driving 7 hours to get there. Everything was very clean and fresh and size of room was great. There was room for us to sit on spare bed and also have our clothes laid out for yesterday. Extra bonus was large coffee cups that we didnt end up using but at least if we had it would have a decent size cup of tea. Extra thanks for spare blankets for someone who feels the cold badly. Showers were excellant ...great hot water systems. Very welcoming and friendly staff and very reasonable cost for the room. I would recommend Eaglehawke Motel to other travellers.

Everything that was available was great. No complaints from us at all.

It's always a warm welcome. Clean linen on the bed. Fresh clean towels .plenty to use. Amenities are all in working order. Clean bathroom and shower. Hot water. Carpet on the floor. Heating and air-conditioned. 10% discount on meals at local club if staying at motel. It's my choice in accommodation every time l need to drive this way. Will be back

The radio on the wall didn't work. The smoke detection unit on wall with the green light at night. Picky l know.

Convenient location to have peace and quiet with a short drive to all Bendigo attractions. Good rates and clean rooms with comfortable beds. Room to set up large soft crate for pets and staff friendly and welcoming for both myself and my dogs.

Hot water took a while to come through, but other than that I was more than happy with my stay.
