The breakfast was exceptional, plenty of choice. Eggs were offered cooked to our liking which was very nice. Breakfast could be eaten in the very pleasant and traditional breakfast room or on the adjacent patio. There are two excellent swimming pools one indoor and one outdoor which we found very good.Also a small gym which my son used daily. Beds comfortable and spotlessly clean bathroom. Public transport nearby into Salzburg or opposite direction to Hellbrun Palace.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

This is a beautiful family run property. It is in Salzberg South, so taking the bus into Salzburg is a great way to avoid city traffic and finding parking. Our room had a balcony, unfortunately it did overlook the alley where we parked, not that it mattered as we sat outside after dark so you couldnt really see much. The property has two pools. We used both. So nice to have a swim after a long day of driving. Breakfast great. scrambled eggs with bacon wrapped sausage or cheese, cold cuts and fruit etc. the apple cake was very nice.

Loved this family run traditional Austrian hotel. The hosts were very friendly and approachable. We were able to have breakfast a little earlier than half 7 one of the days as we were going on a trip. Breakfast was plentiful, I liked the fruit salad. The setting was beautiful. Room was comfortable, we were two friends so greatful to have two duvets. Made use of the undoor pool which took a bit of getting used to as it was cold but was fine once in. Bus stop just down the road easy to get into the centre.

The flat pillow and no extra available the lightshade right above the bed was so low made it so easy to hit our heads when we sat up.

Breakfast was great, location was convenient and beautiful. Staff was very friendly and super helpful in terms of planning. The included public transport tickets was used several times a day - so was great. The rooms were clean and a good amount of space. We had an absolutely incredible stay!

It would have been very convenient if a restaurant was included - although that is a very small nitpick as it is not difficult to get to other's nearby. Also, the pillows are very thin.

The main feature of the place were the garden and the terrace which were nice, but we could not use because of the whether. The owners answer our questions, but did not really offer information without us asking.

I was expecting a more elegant place, but it was quite simple. The room was too small for 3 adults, it felt crowded. I don't think it is a good idea that they used the sofa to make a bed, as this did not leave any place to seat to chat or to have a snack. It seems they do not put their best rooms on Booking, but the pictures are there. The welcoming was a bit cold, as the first question was if I rang the bell, which I did, without any explanation given after. There were already 2 people at the reception desk, the door was not locked, so I am still confused about why ringing the bell in full day time.

The place is absolutely gorgeous, and it's located outside the city center so you have a nice calm atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and the rooms are fantastic.

Honestly, the pillows were unbelievable. You would lay down on one and it would completely disintegrate. It was kinda crazy, and it's such a small thing. But it didn't make for a great sleep.

Great traditional accommodations located just outside of Salzburg. It had very convenient free parking right in front. The hotel staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The shower had really nice smelling shampoo and embroidered towels. It came with the most amazingly large and fresh breakfast full of fresh breads, fruit, meats and cheeses that was included with our stay. The outdoor areas with the patio, pool, lush green open space, and landscaping were beautiful.

Pillows were almost empty and offered no neck support. I ended up sleeping on my neck pillow I brought for the plane ride.

This was a lovely hotel and the staff were great. Breakfast was very good. Reception was wonderful at telling us how/where to get the bus to get to the historic center of Salzburg.

I didn't realize the hotel was as far as it was from the historic center. But the bus was very close and easy to take. We did, however, decide to use cabs after our first bus trip just for time and ease. The pool was also very cold. We were told it was heated so started to walk quickly into it; the chill stopped us in our steps. But it was really nice once we got used to it.

Great location - 10 minutes from Salzburg, 20-30 minutes from hiking places like galling etc. Great breakfast - all fresh and tasty, you won't need lunch later:) They have both outdoor pool and (incredibly fantastic) indoor pool + a small gym, open until 22:00 which was great. The hosts were very kind and helpful

The place is "old-school", like staying at your grandma's home - nostalgic, but rather not so comfi... Note that the rooms have no mini-bar nor cattle, the bath is bright and clean but the water sprinkler has pretty weak stream

It was a country oasis in the city! It felt far away from the hustle of downtown yet was a seven minute bus ride to Salzburg plaza. The grounds are beautiful. The pool, patios, and accessibility made this magical. Great breakfast daily. It was quiet and peaceful!

Not bad for us but rooms are very 70's vibe. Amenities are all there and service is amazing... but if you are looking for modern... this is not it.
