My friend and I really liked the breakfast. It had plenty of options! They even offered plant based and regular milk. There were plenty of tea options, a nice coffee and 2 yogurts along with the regular breakfast food. We loved the staff, everyone from the cleaning crew to 2 receptionists! They were extremely kind to us, as we were there for the unfortunately cancelled Taylor concert. They helped us with what places to see, borrowed us scissors to make friendship bracelets and let us watch basketball olympics game in the hall. :)) The room was really spacious and it was super clean!!

The only thing we were struggling with was the bathroom, it was a bit hard to get in the bathroom(ours was 406 so it might be just our floor plan) because the doors could opened into the shower and the sink so there was not much wiggle room, but other than that, it was okay!!

Very affordable room in a very good location. It was close to city centre (5 minutes walk to tram 2, then 10 - 15 minutes by tram to city centre). Breakfast was good too. Communication was great. My flight was arriving after 11 pm, and it had a delay. However, I was given a clear instructions for a self-checking into hotel and the retrieval of my room key from safe. I was so worried about this, but it was so easy. Thank you so much to all, who made my stay so welcoming, including all hardworking people in the breakfast room and all cleaners. Thank you. Tip: Bought Wien mobil 7 day public transport ticket online, which was very affordable and made my travels really easy. It has to be done online, if you want to start 7 days on different day than Monday. Public transport in Vienna is amazing and reliable.

Room reminded me of students rooms in students accommodation (fixed reused furniture, small size of room and bathroom). However, I just needed a room, where I will rest at night, close to city centre. For this purpose it was perfect, so I am very grateful that I found this hotel. Some pictures on advert have shown having a kettle in the room. Mine had none. During my stay I went down with a cold, and I would have loved to make myself cup of tea in the evening. I brought my own tea bags, but not used them.

I arrived late at night and the instructions of how to get in and get the keys were exceptional. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was outstanding. So much choice and very tasty. Wifi was great too. The room was small but functional it had no aircon but a fan was provided. Bed was ok. Bathroom was ok too. Location was fairly near the centre and subway and a tram stop was very near.

Nothing really. Don't expect a 5 star experience. It was pretty basic overall but for a capital city hotel near the centre and with a great breakfast you can't argue with the price. Fantastic value for money.

Only 15 minutes from St Stephen's cathedral by metro. Quiet neighbourhood with several cafe restaurants. The hotel was established by a Slovenian & most of the staff today are friendly Slovenians. Breakfast room is very large & offers extensive selection of food & drinks, such as scrambled egg, cold hams, cheese, various breads, cereals, yorgurt, fresh fruits, vegitables& juices.

I don't like air conditioning, but it helps when the temperature goes up to 35 deg C in Vienna everyday. Korotan has only electric fan. It was little bit warm at night, but I was still able to sleep with window open.

The location of the hotel is perfect to explore Vienna - 20 minutes to the Ring and the 1st district and 5 minutes to the Gürtel and the 16th district. The hotel was very clean and the room thankfully had a fan! The staff were excellent and very friendly. The bed was also comfortable.

The bathroom was very small and my shower liked to make the whole floor wet but it was very clean. The bedroom was small but this was not really an issue. Breakfast was Spartan and quite boring (although the avocado dip was a welcome touch). No big complaints at all.

A great option for your stay in Vienna, if you are looking for an affordable and modest accomodation near the city center. Unexpectedly I was offered an upgrade for the room I booked and I gladly accepted. The photos you can find online are truthful and as expected, nothing is new and shiny but everything works great. I presume the building has previously been used for student accommodation purposes and this is visible in the interior. My intention for the accomodation for this trip was to solely come to the hotel to sleep and have a simple breakfast, and for this purpose this was a great option. Rooms are cleaned daily and although there are some stains in the rooms, the overall impression is clean and tidy. There is no 24 hour reception and the door to the hotel is locked in the night, but you can access the hotel with your room key. Breakfast is very simple, but definitely enough. And lastly, the staff were some of the friendliest people I met in the city. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

As others have mentioned, the bathrooms are tiny and the door opens to the bathroom, which means that you have to squeeze in to shut it. Soundproofing is quite non-existent and you can hear the conversations from the neighboring rooms.

Loved how accommodating the staff were - I arrived late (due to a delayed flight from Gatwick) and the staff left me a key in a key safe to let myself into the room. The staff also spoke very good english The breakfast was good - good mix between continental and cooked breakfast. Comfortable bed and good bathroom facilities. The only hotel I've stayed at so far in Europe whilst traveling that has supplied a fan in the room!

Distance from city centre (however there are good train/metro links to the centre) Not a 24 hour reception - no staff on reception after 10pm - however there is a number to call if you need assistance. No air con - could of provided air conditioning.

The room is big enough and it was clean.

If you arrive later than 3, you won’t find anyone at the reception, and the door is closed so you can’t even ring the bell. The only way to do it is call the “emergency” number they have on the door. Had I not had international calling I wouldn’t have been able to check in and get into my room.

In terms of price benefit balance it's an ideal choice. It's conveniently just 5 tram stops away (tram number 2), making it a solid choice if you're looking for accessibility. Breakfast is standard but satisfying. Kudos to the staff, though. They're a friendly and helpful bunch, adding a positive touch to the stay. In a nutshell, I'd recommend this hotel for a short stay. It's got its perks, but addressing those mattresses and going a bit greener on the toiletries would make it an even better choice.

The biggest problem is that the matresses are old. We had a hard time sleeping at night because the bed springs wore out and curved outwards. They must definitely be renewed. Also, while I appreciate the effort with the complimentary shampoos, the tiny sachets are a bit of a letdown. Not only are they inconvenient, but they're also not great for the environment. Consider going for larger, refillable containers to tackle both issues. Towels are a little old but clean.

I was here because the hotel was near the private clinic (Confraternitat) where I had a difficult surgery. I sent an e-mail to the receptionist describing my situation. He offered me a good room and all the personnel helped me to feel in this hotel similar to my home, so I managed to recover more easily.

From my point of view, I haven't any bad comments.
