We stayed at Ivy Garden Hotel as a family and had an absolutely fantastic time! From the start, the hotel felt welcoming and cozy — exactly what you need when traveling with kids. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the spa was a real treat (the massages were amazing!), and the training room was perfect for a quick workout to recharge after busy days exploring Baku. What really made our stay special was the wonderful staff. A huge thank you to the morning crew — Nuray, Murad, and Orue — for their warmth, friendliness, and all the little extra touches that made both us and our kids feel so well cared for. It’s not just about good service — it’s about feeling genuinely welcome, and they absolutely delivered that every day. Of course, no hotel is 100% perfect, but thanks to the positive atmosphere and the incredible people working there, we honestly had an excellent experience. Ivy Garden Hotel is now our first choice for when we come back to Baku. Highly recommended for families and anyone who wants a stay that feels personal and heartwarming!

An Exceptional Stay – Highly Recommended! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. It's located about a 30-minute walk from Baku city centre, which made it perfectly peaceful while still being accessible — and just £2–£3 away via local taxi apps like Bolt or Yango. We specifically chose this hotel for its wellness facilities, and it did not disappoint. There’s a well-equipped gym, a beautiful swimming pool, as well as a sauna, steam room, and a spa — ideal for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was included, and it was fantastic. There were plenty of options including fresh fruits, cereals, desserts, and best of all — an omelette station (which I absolutely loved 😅). What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. I only managed to catch two names, but everyone we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Nuray, a lovely young woman who looked after guests at breakfast, was especially kind and attentive. She showed a genuine interest in how our day was going and shared helpful local tips on what to see and do. Ilhan, from reception, was also fantastic — friendly, approachable, and eager to assist in any way he could. Honestly, all the staff were incredible, and they played a huge role in making our stay so memorable. If you're visiting Baku, I highly recommend this hotel — for its facilities

There could have been more vegetarian options at Breakfast. The dishes could have been labelled better to include what ingredients were in the dishes, meat, veg etc.

Everything was simply amazing! The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully designed to the highest standard. The food was delicious and varied, and the service was warm and personal. The atmosphere felt like a wonderful family from the very first moment. The staff were professional, attentive, and always available for any request. Special thanks to Gulnar, Vasil, Narqiz, Aysu, Nuray, and Rasim for their outstanding service and constant smiles!

Everything about the stay was just amazing. Even the staff at the reception, bell boys, cleaners, kitchen, breakfast area, spa were all humble and always prompt. I don't remember everyone's name, but the lady staff in breakfast called 'Gulnar' was really humble and soft spoken. The hotel also arranged for an early breakfast for us which was a take away. We truly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were mind blowing. We stayed in a two bedroom suite room and the facilities were just wow. I will definitely stay here whenever I visit Baku again 😊

Check-in was smooth, and the hotel's location is not central yet doesn’t feel too far from anything. The staff was incredibly friendly. I stayed in Room 407, which had a balcony—not an extraordinary view, but I enjoyed sipping my coffee there while watching the snow. I skipped breakfast due to Ramadan, but the restaurant arranged suhoor, though it was delayed and incorrect. They later compensated by not charging for my pizza.

The washroom was a bit small, and the built-in modern shattafa in the WC was amusing at first but later became annoying.

All the staff are kindness ,the hotel is very comfortable , breakfast is delicious , we liked the atmosphere for the hotel , the front office very professional, Mr Ahmed & all front office , Ms Noray & Narges in the breakfast area & all the Room service is outstanding .

This hotel is highly recommended. The hotel is fresh, clean and comfortable. The stuff is so polite, supportive and friendly. I think this is the best hotel experience I ever had, taking into consideration that I have traveled and stayed a lot in different places. I came with my friends on my birthday, my friend asked for a birthday piece of cake and they brought the WHOLE CAKE for free. I would recommend this place for friends, couples and young family with small kids. Food is Amazing 😍.

The breakfast was excellent! A huge variety of sweet and savory delicacies, plus an option to get a fresh omelette. I loved the salad and fruit selection as well as the Azeri national food and desserts. Very clean rooms and comfy beds! Very helpful and polite staff! Great pool with warm water! Room service was great! The walk to the metro station Nizami takes 15 min and lies in a very peculiar part of the city - Kubinka - but we never felt unsafe to walk there. There is a nice restaurant 1 min walk from the hotel too with live music and great ambiance! Best to be prepared and have cash on hand if the credit card terminal doesn't work.

It wasn't easy to order food in the hotel in the evening, but there is a restaurant nearby.

We had an amazing time. Good food, good staff , clean spacious rooms. New amenities. Value for money. Away from busy roads. Easy parking.

The taxi driver you sent us scammed us. From the time we got into the taxi he tried selling us everything possible. He by force took us to buy a sim card and charged way more than the average price. We let it go at the time coz he seemed irritated that we rejected everything else he offered. We booked a taxi through the hotel thinking it's more trustworthy.

Breakfast timings can be same for weekends and weekdays , someone should be there for helping with luggage at all times especially for people with little kids. Daily cleaning room can be improved , also hotel room services ( massage, food service ) are a bit pricey
