Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, they were obviously proud of their country and keen to share their passion. The swimming pool was fantastic and whilst not owned by the Hotel, the staff were very attentive. Buffet style breakfast so definitely something for everyone, some interesting selections to be had. It's a good location for different bus routes which is a great way to get around.

The hotel is a little tired, is it a 5* I would say not. We did have an issue with our room but was resolved in next to no time so not going to be too negative, given we didn't spend much time in the room it was suitable for our needs.

The accommodations at the Hayat Regency were excellent, particularly the comfortable beds and pillows, which were ideal for a restful night's sleep after a busy day of sightseeing in Azerbaijan. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the staff was consistently courteous and helpful. The hotel's location is also convenient, being situated near several popular tourist attractions.

Everything was satisfactory, although it was slightly more expensive compared to other similar hotels in the town.

We stayed two nights at the hotel and had a wonderful experience. The services were excellent, with a generous breakfast spread that offered a delicious start to our day. The staff were not only helpful but also incredibly courteous, making us feel right at home. We were also pleasantly surprised by the sweet amenities we received, which added a special touch to our stay. The outdoor swimming pool was a perfect place to unwind, and the World-class fitness center was impressive, offering top-notch equipment and facilities. The twin beds were incredibly comfortable, with mattresses that felt like sleeping on a cloud, ensuring we got a restful night's sleep each night.

Branded hotel always tries to keep their services at good standards, but when staff treats you with respect and take care of your needs as if it's their responsibility, the whole experience goes to another level. I am not if it was their training or their own selves. But I will always remember Mr. Seymour, Ms. Nayla (breakfast lady, here memory is sharp) and I forgot her name, the lady who always welcomed us at the entrance of the restaurant on breakfast time. I cannot forget, the restaurant staff, lovely people.

Even though, I didn't want to, but the truth is, I was with my family when we reached the hotel. We stayed in the lobby for more than two hours because check in was late. No one even offered us welcome water to drink. And at the time of check-in, they forgot to tell what services me my family can use, its Mr. Seymour after couple of days later informed us about those.

The breakfast was excellent. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive. The room was spacious and comfortable although a little 'aged' in places. The gym and facilities are exceptional and a reason to go to the hotel.

The shuttle bus was not very clear or easy to use due to different drivers on different days and no one checking the Whatsapp account where you are meant to book it. One driver was super friendly and helpful while another had to be convinced that he would come and pick us up at the time stated on the advertising poster. The walls of the hotel are quite thin and it was very easy to hear the people in the rooms around you. Generally, this was not a problem, but a few occasions with a loud crying child or a family having a lively chat could have ruined the trip. Thankfully all was good by the time we went to sleep (generally). There is not too much to do within (short) walking distance.

Lovely property. The hotel is centrally located. Right from the moment you enter the hotel right up to the room, everything was perfect. The staff is very professional, courteous and very helpful. The breakfast spread was fantastic. The chef was present there himself with a smile on his face, ready to answer all questions.

It is located in the midway of the city. All sight seeing are in close proximity. Staff is welcoming and very cooperative.Swimming pool is very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was also very good. Nice place to stay . Enjoyed my stay at Hyatt.

It’s very difficult to connect with the reception or front desk by phone. I tried so many calls from India by WhatsApp also but was not able to connect or confirm or convey my message. Could not talk to reception staff on phone . Please make your mobile and phone more accessible for foreign travellers. Regards

The outdoor pool area is very big and comfortable. The gym - which does not belong to the hotel, it is a proper gym, belonging to a well known chain, and to which full access is granted. The room was huge. The staff was quite nice.

Although there is some diversity, I expected more from the breakfast offer. The breakfast area is also rather small and if going at peak times it may be difficult to find a seat.

One policy note is that you're not allowed to take breakfast away, which, while understandable, is something to keep in mind for guests looking to enjoy their meal on the go. Also, the check-in time was 12 o'clock, but I thought it was 3 pm, so went for a walk, and staff were very polite with me, I checked-out 4 hours later then I was supposed to. In summary, my stay at the Hyatt Regency in Baku was an excellent experience. The combination of spacious, clean rooms, a fantastic breakfast, and a great pool, along with the polite and professional staff, made my visit memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Baku, whether for business or pleasure.

Uhm... in general it was fine. But take away from the breakfast is not allowed. For example if you have to leave early from the hotel for a tour, you have no time for coming down and eating, you can't take something with you. So, that was a bit weird.
