Overall, everything was good. The staff was supportive and welcoming, the room was spacious and well-appointed, and the washroom was very clean and stocked with all necessary items. Additionally, the hotel's location was convenient, and the room cleaning services were excellent.

Here are a few areas that could be improved by hotel management: 1-The towels were somewhat old and hadn't been changed recently. New, high-quality towels should be provided. 2- The blanket was old and not very clean. Its color has started to fade due to frequent use and washing. 3-The fitness center is poorly equipped, with very limited equipment. Additionally, I didn't use the jacuzzi because it wasn't fully clean. 4-The breakfast options were limited, and the price was high compared to the value offered. 5- There was no indication in the room for the prayer direction ( QIBLA) in the Room in addition they were not able to provide prayer Matres /rug

Rooms and beda are big and comfortable.

Breakfast can be better. Same everyday. Imagine if you stay 4 days. You ask for a napkin in the breakfast area and they say there aren’t any. But actually, there are they just don’t want to bother. For example, there’s no honey; when you ask for it, they say “if the chef didn’t put it out, then we don’t have it.” But when you insist and ask them to check, they bring it. The staff in the breakfast area seem fed up with their job it’s like they have no motivation to work at all.

I really liked my stay at Modern Hotel. Everything was good: a clean, light and spacious room, friendly staff, billiards on the ground floor, spa center. The hotel is located in a quite good area: it took me just 10 minutes to get to the nearest subway station "Ganjlik". Besides, there is a bus №88 which can take u to the city center. As for breakfast - it was also quite good and tasty. IMHO Modern Hotel meets all standards and important guests' needs. And last not the least, prices are quite affordable.

There was only thing which was a bit strange for me: I arrived at the hotel early morning, about 6 am. In fact, while making a reservation on Booking.com I did choose an option "early check-in" but the receptionist hesitated about it and it took him some time to check if it was right or not.

Very goot hotel and value for money. We arrived at midnight with no reservation and we were greeted at the reception by Kenan. He helped us by communicating in English and providing us the best deals for our stay. Helped us with anything we wanted during our stay. Highly recommended.

I think the Modern Hotel used to be a very nice hotel and has the bones of one but is slightly dilapidated now! The upside is that you get a huge room for your money, with lots of space, comfy beds and a desk. It's a decent location - not in the centre of Baku but not hard to get a taxi and there are still lots of restaurants around and some useful supermarkets.

The gym and spa is just hilariously bad. It is a running machine, an elliptical trainer and a tiny collection of weights in a dusty basement, and when I plugged in the running machine to use it I got some very weird looks from the cleaner, who I think had never seen anyone use it before. The jacuzzi is a literal bathtub which you have to fill yourself, and yes there is a sauna, which the reception kindly switched on for me, although since it only got up to about 40* it is completely pointless and I'm not sure why they bother.

I like everything. Rooms are very big and clean. The house keeping is very good she came every day even if we don’t want her to clean our room, she came and provided us with new towels and bottles of water and toilet paper. So they care about the cleaning and services. And the rooms smell good and nice. The front desk men are very nice and kind and helpful, they helped us for everything we asked . The WiFi is very strong and working very well. The location is good about 7 to 10 minutes from Nizami Street. And cost 5 manat in polt.
