Photos on line are accurate for room descriptions. Room size, quietness, view along the coast, bed size and comfort. Cleanliness. Helpful, friendly staff. Plenty of storage in the triple wardrobes x 2. Large bathroom, big bath, rain shower. There are a few plug sockets which take various country's plugs, but, advisable to take a 2 pin Euro adaptor/convertor for convenience. There was a U.K. and U.S. type socket too. (Note, no USB port). We enjoyed the location, opposite the Baku Eye and Deniz shopping centre. A pleasant walk through the lovely parkland heading into town. Good base for F1 weekend. Takes about 5 minutes to reach the Baku Eye Wheel taking the underpass. (10 manats per adult for a ride). 10 minutes to reach the funicular, carpet museum. 40 minutes walk to reach Ashberon grandstand (the furthest from the hotel, but, you get to experience all the fan zones). Taxis can be arranged at the reception, if you need to get to the old town area. 10-26azn per trip depending on car standard, size. Bolt app is helpful. Nice bar and terrace area, with restaurant attached. Friday evening dinner, male host was super. Breakfast staff everyday & maitre d were great. Female hostess that served us Sunday evening, was super. Food was of good quality, reasonably priced. Breakfast was enjoyed, slightly different options daily, plenty of food choice, yogurts, muesli, cereals, porridge, salads, fruits, pastries, breads, cheese, cooked dishes, egg choices, juice, you will not be hungry. The chefs are great! Tables are cleared, cleaned in good time. Tables are spaced apart adequately, no big queues for breakfast buffet, despite being fairly busy. Housekeeping, respected the 'do not disturb' and 'make up my room' signs. Room was cleaned well. Lady at reception, very helpful on Monday, arranged our driver to the airport, your team are so nice. Concierge helped with luggage. Basic wifi available, good speed.

Some minor room issues, nothing serious: Plug socket near a mirror would be useful, for the use of the hairdryer. Shower had a little dribble from the pipe, not serious, still had good flow. Kettle, on the tea & coffee tray, had no plug socket next to it to facilitate its use. Hand towel and towel rail next to the basin in the separate toilet cubicle would be useful. Lightbulbs in wardrobe area not working upon arrival, but, staff are keen to address issues notified and will fix the problem. Coffee at breakfast is limited to a dispenser of filter coffee, it is okay. Cappucino, espresso, latte etc cost extra. It should be a smaller surcharge for an add on coffee, at breakfast. Charging 14azn extra for a cappuccino, for example, is excessive in my opinion.

I came to Baku with my family. From the beginning of the stay, the staff were extremely helpful and supportive. They welcomed us warmly. The rooms were clean and all the facilities were working completely fine. The view of the hotel was really nice facing Baku Eye and sea view. The lobby area was also really cozy and nice. We also opted for daily breakfast buffet, in which we had many great options. The food tasted fresh & yummy always. Their service was top notch! I would like to thank specially Mr. Safar who was always willing to help us at all times and really understanding. Also, the staff at the restaurant Elvin and Ozkhan made sure that the service is great. These people made our stay super comfortable. Thank you Sheraton team for a wonderful experience. 😊💕

Cleaning service didnt wipe the floor in the bathroom even once in 4 nights stay although overall room was nicely clean

- hotel was very nice, clean and in an excellent location close from the main attractions of the city - hotel staff were very nice, kind, and cooperative, especially Sabira, who was very helpful and attentive - bed was very comfortable and the room comes with nice amenities - view from the balcony is nice, but the wall is high, so you have to stand to actually enjoy the view, there are tables and chairs, but u won’t be able to see anything if you are sitting

- Bathroom towels need to be replaced, they are clean, but just really old - the way the balcony was set, is just not quite practical to enjoy the view while sitting - though i was there for my birthday, and even mentioned that before my arrival to the hotel, nothing was offered or given for that occasion, which most hotels usually do. I always travel to celebrate my birthday, but this was the only country where the hotel just ignored that completely lol - price is steep a bit, you can definitely find cheaper hotels with similar facilities close by, i just wanted to stay in the Sheraton, because i love the chain and always had great experiences in it, though this hotel, didn’t give me what I expected in terms of quality and upscale level of amenities.

Having traveled to 12 countries (not bragging, just setting the scene), I can confidently say that this hotel delivered the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced—and that’s saying something! First off, a big shoutout to Ms. Sabira for the seamless early check-in (she might have psychic powers because she knew exactly what I needed after my journey). Then there’s Mr. Yusuf, who handled all my random questions with patience that deserves a medal. And let’s not forget Ms. Kristina, whose energy and ever-smiling face made me feel like I was staying at a seven-star resort for VIPs. Seriously, the whole staff was so warm and welcoming that I felt pampered like a celebrity—minus the paparazzi. The rooms? Spotless. The food? Delicious and reasonably priced (a rare combo!). The vibes? Immaculate. This Sheraton might be easy on the wallet, but the experience was top-tier—one of the best in the Bonvoy group! Kudos to the incredible team at Sheraton Intourist—10/10, would happily return (or even move in if they let me!).

This was our second stay in this hotel and would visit again. Good location for walking to the Old Town and along the Boulevard. Beautiful hotel, which is clean and the staff are friendly, particularly the excellent Vitaliy and Elbarzi in the restaurant. Also, the extremely efficient and conscientious waitress who works in the bar and restaurant at night was exceptional at her job and deserves recognition (I didn't get her name but she has dark hair, always tied back) The chefs at breakfast were always pleasant and helpful and keen to cook for you. Good choice at breakfast.

We did have issues with basic essential items in the room not being replenished on four occasions. We had a problem with a booking in the spa, but the receptionist was very helpful and sorted it out for us. Its a shame there isn't swimming pool and a bigger gym, the gym is extremely small and again towels and water were not replenished regularly. The tea at breakfast was very week and coffee not great. Limited vegetarian/vegan options on the menu so only ate in the hotel at night once during a 10 night stay.

First of all, the staff was excellent. They were all friendly, polite, and truly helpful. Fidan Yusifova, Tahmina Macidova, and Anar Kerimov, in particular, were outstanding. They are all extremely kind and sincere people. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious products. Despite being a buffet, the restaurant staff personally served omelets, tea, and coffee right to your table. The location is simply perfect, right in the heart of the city. However, staying in a sea-view room is an absolute must at this hotel. From the balcony, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Caspian Sea with so many attractions. The Old City (İçərişəhər) is only about 30-minute walk away. Those who rent a car have access to both indoor and outdoor parking facilities. Additionally, there is a bus stop right in front of the fire station next to the hotel.

I would have preferred a wall instead of a glass partition for the bathroom.

Our stay at Sheraton Baku Intourist was absolutely wonderful! We loved everything — the room was clean and comfortable, with daily housekeeping that kept everything neat and tidy. The breakfasts were delicious and a perfect start to each day. We would especially like to thank two outstanding team members — Yusuf and Kristina. Yusuf always welcomed us warmly when we returned from exploring the city, and his friendly attitude made us feel truly at home. Kristina was incredibly helpful and kindly arranged a late check-out for us free of charge, which we really appreciated. Thanks to their professionalism and hospitality, our experience at the hotel was not only pleasant but truly memorable. We would love to come back again!
