The room was big, clean with a balcony. Water, coffee, tea and kette were provided, fridge as well. The service was excellent, very good breakfast, gym and pool. Only 5 minutes to reach the souk and many restaurants.

While booking I read various negative comments about the hotel, nothing proved true, the hotel, service and location are excellent.

I've been to the hotel a few times over the last few years, and it has improved at lot in regards to the cleanness and service. Staff has always been friendly, but the current group of people are super friendly - always meet you with a smile. The room has been improved a lot since going from bathtub shower to a standing shower, with new and clean renovation. Super super great

The aircon was a little bit noisy - thankfully there was two units in my room, and one of them was very silent, so i just switched off the noisy one, and the single unit could still keep my room at perfect temperature. There are some noise from the clubs in the floor, but it is possible to sleep, unless you are super sensitive to noise

With a nice view of the Bahrain Financial Port and the great location of the hotel in the city you can't go wrong with choosing your next stay at The Gulf gate Hotel. From the clean rooms to a great a service from the staff and their good buffet breakfast,for All their services it's bargain to their price ,the review may same biased but it's what I was treated with,a great service and if you encounter any problem you can always go to Mr Tashi as he is always at your service Summary for the hotel: -Clean rooms -Drinking water with tea and coffee for free in your room -Good Wifi -Good breakfast -Great service -Parking

Excellent location near Manama souq. Friendly and helpful staff. I was given a free super early check in because the room was ready. Good swimming pool. Super comfortable beds. Three different breakfast options, all of them equally huge and tasty.

Facilities are slightly dated. Room was a bit humid at first.

The staff were helpful especially housekeeping and the bell hops and reception. The breakfast was good with a variety. After my room was it was perfect - thank you. And appreciate the drop off at the airport. Great stay.

The noise from the club.

It’s no more than 5 minutes’ walk from the bus station if you are taking a bus to and from the airport. Wifi works well. Staff are friendly and helpful. I specially like the design of the lobby, which is like a palace. It’s walkable distance from the old town and the financial district.

The loud music was still on by 1 am, the time i went to bed. Not sure what time it was put to an end.

Staff was really nice , actually insanely good breakfast (also cheap), localization in basically center of capital

Only 1thing what came to my mind is cleanliness of the pool , but i do understand the fact that its not used so often so it is fair enough, besides that i would recommend to anybody

room was nice size....free tea and coffee....clean and good quality bed and bed sheets ....

little bit noisy....but i did not mind.... TV was not working.....really bad signal....WIFI for about 1 hour was not working ....some maintenance issues.....but after that very fast internet.......

Great location, lot of things nearby walkable distance, parking facility inside the hotel, Rooms are good, value for money.

Balcony was not clean and many cockroaches at balcony, Slippers was unavailable.
