The location is within minutes walk of the Souk, so you can walk out into the local area walk around the local shops, mall and Souk. I like to be able to walk when leaving a hotel in the local area so this was well located. It is also easy to get to lots of different places by taxi/Uber as you are centrally located. The staff are the best thing about the hotel, all very helpful and pleasant . Once they get your name I noticed they would remember it for the rest of the stay which is nice. Good selection on breakfast options and one of the best breakfast services I have had from staff in a hotel. Rooms are very comfortable. Swimming pool on roofs is peaceful, great little sun trap and relaxing swim with lots of sun beds. I also had a massage at the hotel, there were lots of options, I went for the Swedish which was very professional and good quality. The piano player in the lobby area of an early evening is a nice touch as well.

Due to the facade / architecture of the building the rooms have small windows which limits light. But it’s a minor point.

Beautiful hotel in the best possible location to explore Manama. My favourite part of my stay was how lovely every single member of staff was; from the receptionists to the cleaners, the restaurant staff to the spa and pool workers. They went out of their way to ensure I had a wonderful stay. Last but not least, the breakfast was incredible!

I would have liked to use less plastic bottles in the room/spa. Glass bottles would be a better alternative as they're better for the environment and easier to recycle.

Reception staff were respectful and amazing with smily face The Bahraini girl ( Hanan is her name i think ) and the men staff i met were helpful and respectful for everything i asked for ( Kamal & Ibrahim & Amir as i remember their names and the rest of them of course but i can’t recall sorry ) and thank you for the celebration gift card and the cake we found when we checked in this was a lovely gesture. - Parking staff speed and amazing - Room service - Location - Ramadan Breakfast - Breakfast - All hotel staff are amazing really every single person i met inside - I loved the room and amenities - Water coffee tea everything available - Sohoor available The way & behavior of how your staff met us when we checked in from the beginning makes everyone want to comeback for sure you’re professional. Excellent location, the check in and check out very professional and smooth. The renovated rooms are spacious with excellent bed, flat screen TV and perfect bathroom. Minibar and all amenities are available. There is a pool and gym available.

The outdoor swimming pool didn’t look exactly as in the pictures. The whole area needs a bit refresh and renovation. The pool bar was not exactly the way I would expect in such hotel. There is missing some movie channel in english language in the channels choice. The rest was perfect.

We have stayed in the hotel previously. It has aways been a great visit to the hotel. This stay was a great stay for us. The Hotel staff was exceptional, and the service we received was really nice. I think the food can be improved. Example Breakfast, in the past had more western options and the quality of the food was better. Other restaurants we visited were good. SPA personnel did a great job, I would recommend them to everyone.

As I mentioned before the breakfast menu. Because you have allot of western visitors, please look a some of those breakfast options.

My stay at the InterContinental Bahrain was exceptional. The hotel offers a perfect blend of luxury and comfort, with beautifully appointed rooms and excellent facilities. The staff was attentive and professional, making sure all my needs were met. The dining options were diverse and delicious, catering to a variety of tastes. The hotel’s central location made it convenient to explore Bahrain. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend it for both business and leisure travelers.

Exceptional breakfast. Fantastic gym with both machines and workout room. Great food in house. Best of all the people. Rebecca at the pool couldn’t help enough in every way and all the staff at breakfast went above and beyond and the quality was amazing 🤩. I really liked the staff, they were accommodating and hospitable, it was both mine and my mothers birthday so the staff made it really special. They treated us like family and royalty.

Well some of the features were old especially in our room and didn't function well, like the phone, which was very dated.

Extremely polite, welcoming and accommodating staff. I mean seriously accomodating. 3 minutes walking distance from the local market with local shops and local restaurants. Spotless clean. Very comfortable rooms. Everything worked in the room which is rare in hotels. Beautiful breakfast area and the best staff I came across in the breakfast service.

Road congestions while driving to the hotel but shouldnt be a problem if you use taxis. Smaller breakfast serving area impacting the cuisines diversity by a little.
