-tea on the beach is served in tea bags and paper cup, instead of teapot and normal tea -hairdryer was of low capacity (need more powerful to make long hair dry fast) -no bright light near mirror in the bathroom -on some villas monitor of house management is near the bed with bright blue light that gives a lot of light at night, take a plaster with you to cover it -need to fulfil minibar with nuts, chips, chocolates (make it payable but available in room)

* The lights of room turns on by itself every 1 or 2 hours * The jacuzzi does not turn on * One hour before check out, the front desk called me on my personal mobile, sending me whasapp messages and I believe they called my room as well. When I called them back (before my check out time) they told me we want to make sure you check out at the check out time because we are busy today * While checking in, I wasn't told that I should get a ticket from the security to exit the island for free otherwise you will have to pay a lot for your stay at the island

Absolutely amazing hotel!!! The rooms are so clean and spacious which are cleaned every day to a high standard. The staff cannot do more for you if they tried, sunbeds made every morning by pool staff and they bring food and drink menus round and you can order straight to the sunbed so you don’t have to move a muscle all day other than to dip into the pool to cool off. Food is 10/10 with a great variety of choice with alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Cannot wait to return to this hotel next year!!! Will be booking as soon as availability is open!

I just had to share with you all about my recent stay at Palavra Resort. It truly was a memorable experience! The place was so clean, peaceful and relaxing – just what I needed to unwind from the stresses of everyday life. What really stood out to me was how friendly and accommodating everyone was. We were able to explore the whole resort and loved every bit of it. The man-made beach and swimming pool were just delightful, I can only imagine how much fun it would be during the summer months. Although the weather was a bit chilly, we decided to have coffee at the Shisha Lounge and we absolutely loved the place and the ambience. Our dinner at Ronin 47, the Japanese restaurant, was divine. A special thank you to our server Elsa for her patience and excellent service. The breakfast buffet at Palavra was beyond amazing – the taste was so satisfying and the set up was just perfect and exquisite. And of course, I can't forget to mention the incredible assistance we received from Rona and her colleagues. They truly made our stay so enjoyable. We only stayed for one night, but it left us dreaming of coming back again soon. I highly recommend Palavra Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We love the design and interior styling of the garden facing villas at this resort. The staff were lovely, I had booked the wrong type of suite and Rona sorted it out. Reception were quick. friendly and efficient. The villa was super clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower roomy with sweet water. The bird life in the gardens is a joy, including a pretty speckled plover strutting around near our breakfast table. Pool Delight with its cheery staff and good breakfast was a pleasure, we loved sitting out over the sea. We also ate upstairs outside at Hazel which was a treat. The view over the water and to cleverly lit buildings is a treat.

The garden maintenance is poor, for example around the lifeguard station the grass is now long and thin and there is messy equipment. It used to be pristine. Many of the villa water features were empty. The pool opens at 8, plenty of time to clean it whilst it is closed. At 9.30 I was swimming up and down but the pool boy put the long vacuum in with the hose right in front of me regardless.

Lovely, and amazing walkway along the pool and restaurant area with many sitting areas with superb views and windy breeze in the end of October. Excellent service of the pool staff in making up a lounge bed for you if you enjoy lying in front of the infinite pool . The restaurant staff are super attentive and their Friday buffets are wonderful and tasty with so many food variations,I especially loved the grilled meats and grilled seafood as the perfect it and I have been there on multiple occasions . The reception staff helped me with a super fast check in and assisted with me luggage to my Villa. Can’t wait to come back when I’m in Bahrain

I really appreciated the quality of the service, especially the staff overall, and particularly Ms. Asmaa and Ms. Rona at the reception. They were great, very helpful, and assisted me with an early check-in. Much appreciated. I highly recommend the massage at the SPA, done by an energetic Vietnamese lady, who helped relieve my sore back and rejuvenated me for the rest of my journey. Thank you all for your professionalism and kindness. I will definitely come back and have already shared your details with my friends.

At the pool area, the staff asked me to pay for my juice immediately, which I found a bit unusual, but I understand it's a policy they have to follow. Unfortunately, the ladies' gym doesn't have much equipment, such as resistance bands or yoga mats.

Everything was stunning about the resort. it had a sandy swimming pool that makes you feel that you are on the beach yet with the cleanliness of a pool. My daughters were so happy because they fear the sea. Also the pool was open for 24hr which was a plus for us. The room we stayed in was really really comfy (bed, pillows, vibes, location, lights...) everything in it). The Staff were extraordinary in accommodating our needs in a prompt decent manner. At the Restaurant both Gina and Ahmed were amazing. Gina was so polite and accommodated my daughter's request gently though it was not what they served while Ahmed responded to the guests swiftly while in the middle of the day heat. Asma and Fahmy at the reception of the hotel those are your people if you need anything seriously. The minute they felt that the room is not what i desired they directly changed it for me and my daughters. i am truly grateful to their professionalism and courtesy as they made my trip worth every KD paid.

I might suggest removing the glass door surrounding the toilet seats only. Some designs of some rooms were not to my liking (it might be suitable for other guests though) but again the staff at the reception (Asma and Fahmy did not fail me in changing the room the minute I stated i did not like it.

The resort is amazing. It just finished a face lift from the previous management one month ago. It has all you need to relax and enjoy. Two sand filled temperature controlled pools, with the adults pool being an infinity pool over looking the Bahraini waters and skyline. Excellent service from the guys working the pools. (Talking about you Ranpath). The villas are unique and spacious with high ceilings. The main restaurant is a delight to eat at. Having stayed at the Sofitel and Ritz Carlton previously, i have to say this is much more relaxing and much better energy. This resort feels exclusive and pamper YOU. The administration were sincerely happy to help with anything and took care of everything i needed. Thank you Rona and Zoya. We had a marvelous time. Thank u to the new management for taking part of every detail in making this resort truly unique and world class.
