Comfortable and spacious room, literally living in the lap of luxury. Moreover, it is central and close to the meeting place, which gives one the opportunity to sleep that extra half-an-hour in the morning.

When I arrived, I was exhausted after a three-hour flight and unfortunately there was a queue. The queue is not in and of itself a problem, on the other hand it augurs well, since it means that the hotel is well appointed. However, I imagine that the hotel was aware it was going to have a number of persons that evening… so why not have two receptionists on board that night? Moreover, although the receptionist seemed to be a nice man he told me: “Sir, all these people are before you. Get a seat.” I believe there are more courteous ways to greet clients, especially established ones.

The room I booked was spacious, warm and had a great balcony with wonderful view. The room was very clean and the bathroom was well renovated. The breakfast was not so rich but it offered enough variety and high quality food, tasty and with a lot of healthy choices. The location is perfect (especially if someone has work to do with the European Institutions), close to the metro station, the bus stop to the airport, and the railway station.

The water in the shower was not warm enough. And I visited the hotel during a really cold period.

The gentleman at reception when we were checking in and throughout our stay was wonderful - a slightly older gentleman. He was warm, welcoming and we were sorry he was not working when we were checking out as he really made our stay enjoyable. The selection of foods at breakfast was also fantastic. The room was spacious and serviced during our stay with fresh towels.

The room was quite warm, more water in the room and enhanced tea/coffee making facilities would have been great.

The staff was very friendly. The room was nice, and very clean. We appreciated the car garage, especially because of the rain. The heater worked well.

The lifts (elevators) are extremely narrow and small. A family with luggage is not likely to fit in one lift car. I booked a room with 2 twin beds. I even sent a message ahead of time so they would know two friends were sharing a room. When I arrived I had to move the furniture to separate the beds. Luckily the beds were made up with separate bedding, but there was only one blanket. This didn't matter since I travel with my own, and the duvets were quite warm anyway.

very friendly hosts which definitely adds to the good atmosphere in this comfortable hotel with a boutique character! Room is not spacious but comfortable and adequate. Location is perfect when visiting the EU, close to public transportation and has a wide choice of restaurants in the neighbourhood

This hotel fully (just) met my expectations - price quality is right and has a great atmosphere. So, no complaints although the breakfast could have been better. The room has just enough luxury and since the neighbourhood is great you will have just enough for a good stay for a few working days.

Staff were very helpful and friendly . Excellent location near Schuman metro with easy access to grand Place and airport bus transfer . Breakfast was ample .Building was undergoing some renovations so we experience slight issues with a cold room but the staff offered us the use of an electrical heater which worked perfectly to keep our room warm .

Our stay at New Hotel Charlemange exceeded our expectations. Right beside a metro stop and also plenty of e-scooters available in the area to get you from A to B quickly. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Couldn't recommend the hotel enough for the price and the location is superb, so close to the Parc du Cinquantaire and other amenities in the are.

The only thing I could fault would be the breakfast which was included in our price and runs until 10:30 on the weekends however we went down to breakfast at 9:45 and the warm food in the buffet was almost empty and it wasn't refilled. However the staff were so accommodating I'm sure if we had asked they would have provided more, also the restaurant was very quiet at this time so they were probably just preventing excess waste.

The first room had a weird sound in it, I recorded it and did a decibel check for proof, just in case. I went down to the reception and they came up with me to check it out. Then I got a different room. These things happen, are out of their control and I liked that they did not make a fuzz out of it and solved it. I had a good stay. This is a great hotel for anyone visiting the schuman area. They had 2 types of pillows on the bed; liitle things that show they are smart in catering for guests.

The terrace was great, bathroom and beds were decent. Quite rich breakfast. It's not as dated and beaten as some other reviews suggest, at least not our room. Perfect location!

The bar seems permanently closed. Funky smell in the elevator. The night shift at the reception was somewhat off-putting.
