Breakfast was really good, I would definitely recommend it. Buffet with lots of tasty dishes (sweet and salty), good coffee ect. I usually book hotels in this price range and among the hotels on my balkan trip this was definitely one of the best breakfasts I had. Room was nice, staff was very friendly. Big plus for bikers: I could park my motorcycle right in front of the entrance. So it was visible from the reception and in addition there is video surveillance for the parking lot with the hotel staff being around 24/7. Great for my inner peace!

You see that the facilities in the hotel room are a bit on the older side. To me, that's not a big deal. But for some people it might be not as suitable for Instagram as other hotels. ;)

It’s a good solid three star tourist hotel. Beds are comfortable enough, plenty of hot water and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was good but not exceptional. My room had a view of the Avaz twist tower. It’s about 10-15 minutes walk to the train station where you can get trams to the old part of the city.

The hotel was being used by a large party of students/teenagers at the time who were quite noisy at night. Although it is no-smoking I couldn’t open the windows as other guests were hanging out the windows smoking and it made my room smell too. The toilet rolls are very cheap and nasty.

I loved this hotel. I was looking for one of those old-school communist-era type of hotels as I always do when travelling in Eastern Europe, and this place did not disappoint. It was still clean and modern though. The room was spacious and warm, with a great view over the Avaz Twist Tower. The location was convenient to the tram stop, for central Sarajevo as well as the airport, and also the bus and train stations. Hotel personnel were friendly and helpful, particularly one of the evening waiters whose name I forget, and the breakfast and dinner were both great! Although the place regularly receives coach loads of groups, it does things really well to make you think they're not there and keep the room and hotel quiet and comfortable.

I absolutely love the iconic building, the comfy bed for such a good price, which includes a fresh, wide-ranging breakfast.

If you have a lot of luggage, the walk to the bus station or train station is not ideal - it isn't far though. There is a smell of smoke in the corridors but I assume they can't get rid of this and I think it adds character 🙂.

Perfect little hotel for the early morning train to Mostar! By taxi it's only 5 mins away. Everything is clean and comfy. They packed me a takeaway breakfast that I could enjoy on the train!

The day receptionist was amazing but the lady in the night was clueless. I had to walk all the way to the gas station (~10mins) to get a bottle of water, because the room doesn't come with any. But she forgot(?) to inform me that the tap water is drinkable! 1:30am in my pyjamas to quench a late night thirst wasn't fun. Bathtub was a bit weird to use, as the hose didn't extend and seemed like it was only available as a jacuzzi/ tub format, instead of a shower.

The room was very nice and spacious (40 EUR/night). The bus/train station is around the corner.

The dining hall (it is very big) was not heated during winter so I suggest wearing your outdoor clothes while having breakfast. (I didn't ask if there was something wrong or if it was a cost savings measure.)

Standard hotel where you get what you paid for. The price-quality ratio is fine, the breakfast was good, the staff at the reception seemed unwelcoming, but after a short conversation they were very friendly and funny. The hotel has a parking lot that is included in the price, it is located about 15-20 minutes' walk from the center and there is a restaurant near the hotel.

The hotel is very close to the train station and one of the bus stations. They offered a basic but good buffet breakfast. The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable even if it was dated.

The hotel is quite far away from the old town. The wifi in the room was not good and there were no outlets by the bed to charge phones.

Room maintenance walked in on me and my new girlfriend. We thought it was very funny. I don't think she saw anything, but I would like to apologise for not locking the door. I didn't think we would need to! Other than that, it was all very smooth and the view of the thunder storm was incredible.

There is an emergency pull-cord in the bathroom to summon assistance. It is only useful if you have your heart attack standing up by the sink. I thought that was very funny too, and since I neither of us had a coronary I still think it's funny.

The staff was really nice and helpful. The room was big and nice. We had to leave really early to take the train, and the kitchen staff prepared a lunch for us to take with us because we left before breakfast started. We specifically picked this place because it was near the train station. It's in a great location for that, but a lot further from the city centre, so location depends on what you want.

The hotel is a little run down. Our hairdryer broke after about 1 minute of using. But overall it was all really good for the price.
