the hotel's convenient location was a significant advantage. It was centrally located, providing easy access to nearby attractions and transportation hubs. Whether I wanted to explore the local sights or embark on day trips, the hotel's strategic positioning made it incredibly convenient.

I am writing to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction regarding an incident that occurred during my recent stay at America Benidorme Hotel. I believe it is important to bring this matter to your attention as a loyal customer and as someone who values fair and transparent business practices. On May 23rd, I checked in at your hotel and was informed by the receptionist that there is a charge for baggage deposit before check-in. To my surprise, I was told that I had to pay a fee of 30reais for the storage of my baggage until my room was ready. This policy was not communicated to me prior to my arrival or during the booking process, leaving me feeling deceived and taken advantage of.

Excellent location for beaches - Copacabana and Ipanema in particular. Subway was close. In a safe area for walking in the day and evening. The roof top has a pool and deck chairs and lovely views of Christ the Redeemer and Sugar loaf. The hotel stored our bags when we were early for check in. The breakfast was very good. Nice walk from here to Ipanema beach for sunset. There is a supermarket close by for supplies.

Our room on the 7th floor was a bit tired and old. The hotel is being renovated and the updated rooms look good. The hotel does not provide pool towels which would have been nice.

The check-in was quick and easy and friendly staff.The location is great and was safe. There are shops and restaurants all around the hotel as well as a very short walk to Copacabana beach. The metro is max 15 minutes walk to get you everywhere else in Rio. The breakfast had a good choice although only fruit if vegan so we bought some extra bits to have for breakfast. They can exchange money at reception and the rate was good. The room could do with an update but was a great size. There is a fridge which is handy. Wish they supplied a kettle then I could have bought my own coffee. Housekeeping kept it up during our 10 night stay. The bed was comfortable enough. All in all was a good stay.

The Air conditioning is just far to noisy and the fan speed never seemed to work. If you don't have the Air conditioning on then you hear the outside units from the other rooms using it. Toilets flushing noise from above. That was our only problems there.

We had a very large, comfortable room with lots and lots of space for 2 suitcases and 2 backpacks. Everything worked from coffee machine to safe and warm shower. From here it is an easy 5 minutes walk to Copacabana beach. Yes, I would stay here again.

One of the two elevators has some issues: it likes to stop at certain floors even if nobody pressed a button. Waiting for an elevator may take some time. The pool on the roof is tiny little. The sauna was not operational.

The staff are very honest and helpful. I is a great value for what you get for your money. It is a very safe and convenient location for access to beach, nightlife, and restaurants.

They are undergoing renovations to modernize which I think is needed but it is quite noisy on some floors. This work seems to occur 10am to 3pm. So if you are not sleeping in the afternoon you shouldn’t have a problem

Breakfast was good. Location excelent.

There were noisy hours during the day due to renovations. Staff sleeps in the lounge during night hours, looks messy. Sometimes they forget to greet you or ignore you; No iron (ironing clothes) available to borrow. They charge for keeping your luggage before and after check in.

Very simpatic staff, especially the receptionists Very friendly and ready to help Loved the upgrade on the room I had reserved.Got a new refurbished one, big, comfortable, and very modern!

The only thing is the fact that because renovations were a bit of noise during working hours, nothing too much, and also I knew anout it before booking...

Great hotel but above all the staff was the best especially Claudio! He was so nice and helpful with everything! Great location about a 7 minute walk to Copacabana beach. Room was nice with a newly remodeled bathroom. Breakfast was superb! Nice rooftop pool with view of Christ!

Sometimes the elevator took a bit of time but other than that great!!

Location - close to Copacabana, store, anything you would need The room was big. Beds were comfortable.

Noisy air conditioning The check-in process was more complicated than it should have been. Be aware that the person who makes the reservation also has to pay for the reservation. They charge for anything - including ironing

The staff, especially Luke, Sofia, and the porter, were helpful, kind, and patient with our queries. They helped us plan the tours and ordered taxis at very reasonable fares. The porter went the extra mile to a very nice restaurant for dinner. Location was excellent and we felt safe walking at night to Copacabana beach. We highly recommend this hotel.
