Terrific location in the heart of Leblon, and one block from the beach. Hotel supplies beach towels. Property offers an extensive free breakfast PLUS a free afternoon snack/light dinner from 6pm to 8pm. This is exceptional value. Hotel staff are extremely accommodating. Rooms were very large. Bed was KING size by North American standards and comfortable enough. Air conditioning worked well. Shower water is very strong.

Bathroom is a bit run down with mildew in places. Toilet flapper kept coming loose and letting the water run. Air conditioner worked very well..but almost too well--there was no "silent mode" and "LOW" fan was still quite strong. Television stations are completely in Portuguese, although you can sign on to Netflix, Disney+, Amazon if you have your own login. Walls seem a bit thin--you can hear what's happening outside even with an inside room--but nothing that was too distracting.

We very much our stay at the hotel. The location was great, the food for breakfast and the happy hour was delicious with a wonderful variety of things to eat. The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Leblon beach was just a short walk away, which was good. Plenty bars and facilities available along the promenade from Leblon to Ipanema and beyond! The shops and restaurants were just a few minutes away. We loved it!

This hotel is in one of the best areas from Leblon, very close to bars and restaurants, on a quiet street, close to the beach, great service and staff. We were given an upgrade which was very appreciated.

I belive pricewise the hotel doesnt offer facilities to match the charged rate.

Staff were very nice, especially the kitchen staff. Food was great and they offer finger foods every evening as well...great quality. Location was pretty good as well. Safe and close to many stores and the beach

Bathroom could have some updates. Issues with the toilet which they fixed right away. Bathroom sink didn't drain as fast as it should.

Comfortable, conveniently located, walking distance to the beach and to many bars and restaurants. Courtesy Nespresso at the reception and a delicious afternoon buffet included in the daily rate.

The swimming pool area is not appealing, but that didn’t bother us, as we didn’t feel like spending any time there anyway, with so many interesting attractions in the immediate vicinity to keep us busy.

The staff spoke English which helped me. They were so friendly and accommodating to my needs. They gave me clear instructions for going to subway/train. They suggested a great restaurant nearby. The bed had a wonderful choice of pillows from softer to firmer eg. to sit up in bed and watch tv. I loved the complimentary snacks and water. The water in glass bottles do not get replaced though, there is a charge if you ask for more, however the hotel has these drinking water stands, so if you want to get a glass of water, you are able to. The breakfast was included with my room booking, wonderful choice and staff wanting to please. I enjoyed lovely slices of fresh fruit, papaya, melon, mango to name. Had choices of yogurt and found an unsweetened type I like. Croissant was ok, but this is not France. Hot eggs and all sorts of other things available too. Coffee was ok, perhaps not really hot enough for my liking or perhaps I like to add too much milk! There is no kettle / jug in the room to boil tea, I would have liked that. Bonus as a guest - attend happy hour and have soft drinks or glass of prosciutto and an array of savoury goody things, fruit, walnuts, salad, cheese etc. its not top cuisine but you can find things there you like. I enjoyed the cooked mini potatoes. Pool: it is padlocked after 5pm, a bit annoying if you want to quietly do a few laps.` Sauna is like a steam sauna, I enjoyed this. This is not always on, but the hotel accommodated me and put it on. Overall I loved my stay and would definitely go back again.

Nice surprise with great location. Hotel was fabulous. We were in 604A and very spacious Great large shower. Comfy bed. Air worked well Surprised that all meals were included with delicious choices Highly suggest this hotel Staff so helpful We checked in at midnight and the man was there to welcome us Also had champagne at happy hour

Very well situated, two blocks from the beach, very comfortable apartment room. Very good breakfast and Promenade hour from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Appetizers, cold drinks and even champagne!

The pool is surrounded by high walls and is not that inviting.

The hotel is in an excellent location with lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby,. It’s a busy part of town but quiet in room. The room was really comfortable, nice big beds and nice pillows. The breakfast was excellent with lots of fresh choices. They also provide beach towels.

The pool and gym looked a bit dated, we didn’t use.

The hotel is in a quieter area at the end of Ipenema beach but still plenty going on within a very easy flat walk. Rooms were a good size and quiet. Plenty of choice at breakfast with pleasant attentive staff.
