Just stayed at the iceberg hotel and what value for money! Hotel was very clean, good choice of breakfast.. Hot and cold food, fruit, yoghurts, cakes, pastries etc.. Just a 10 min walk to town and free shuttle bus to and from the gondala! By far the best was the pool and spa facilities, the pool is like getting into a warm bath, good jacuzzi, lovely sauna and steam room... Just what was needed after a day on the slopes!! . Great value for money, would definitely come back!

My only criticism is that the sheets were too small for the bed and so the sheet kept coming off and the pillows too big and spongy for my personal comfort

What a gem of a hotel especially for its 3 star status, clean and comfortable with a free shuttle service every half an hour in the mornings and afternoon back

Pull out beds for children to use were very basic, I’d recommend taking a blow up mattress and that solves the only issue

The room was super clean and the bathroom as well. The pool was well maintained and it was warm. We had an included breakfast and it was gorgeous. Super delicious. Overall a truly memorable experience.

Everything was splendid and according to my expectations. 1) Room was very clean, quite and warm. Not anything fancy or very modern, but according to the photos and description. 2) Bed was comfortable. 3) Spa area and pool was warm and clean and it was included in the price. A bathrobe is offered in the room. 4) Staff were always friendly and smiley. 5) Free parking space. 6) The price compared to what the hotel is offering (spa area, breakfast) and the quality of cleanliness is amazing.

Can't say I was not satisfied by anything. Some very minor things that could be mentioned are: 1) The location of the hotel is not close to the gondola station, so you need a means of transport to go there. Personally I had my own car, and if I'm not mistaken, during the high season, a van is used by the hotel to transfer people to the gondola. But this is not a surprise and it is considered in the price of the rooms. 2) Breakfast was ok. Not something great, but enough. Warm plates were ordered using a menu with several choices. A small buffet was only for cereals, fruits and some cakes. I suppose that a full buffet is offered during the high season, since I visited this hotel at the end of the season (April).

Friendly and positive staff, the room was really warm with only central heating turned on. The elevator is a big plus, despite being only a 4 floor building, especially for people who carry luggage and ski equipment. Ski shuttle is fast (departed at 8 am, was on the gondola line at 8:10). Breakfast is really good and various. Tried the restaurant - really liked the salad and the meatballs. Tasty and fresh! Pool water, despite being medium-small size is really warm, especially after a day on the slopes.

The shower cabin was holding a bit more water than it is supposed to. The last ski shuttle from Gondola to the hotel departs at 17:00 from Gondola parking. If you can maybe have one more course at 17:30? People who like to have to ski until the end, should take this into consideration, otherwise you would need to walk 15-20 min to the hotel, which is not a big deal if you are not too exhausted.

Checking in was perfect no need to pay for parking a car. A lot of space for it. There is a shuttle bus to the gondola lift. The rooms were nice and clean. Warm and cosy. The shower and bathroom were clean. Nice staff. The spa area was perfect. The swimming pool was warm and had nice music. I used a massage which was perfect. The salt room was paid but excellent, my first time ever. Breakfast was amazing with a lot of choices. I was using a hotel restaurant and the food was amazing and delicious. Perfect and big thanks to the kitchen staff.

The moisture level in the room was high and because of it there was a kind of strange smell.

Nice rooms, great AC, great breakfast, 10min walk to Main Street, pool and hot tub.

Aging a little bit - really old carpet in hallways and major dirt visible through the glass windows of the elevator. Staff was hit and miss - some were great, others seemed bothered. There is a kettle in the room but no coffee or tea. When asked why, we were told that it’s not winter. I guess guests during the summer do not drink coffee and tea and all the other hotels we stayed in during our vacation are doing it wrong. However, they happily sold us a 5 cent bag of tea for 3lv and even threw in an extra one for free! Overall, I’ll happily explore other options next year, knowing that this is a decent back up if needed.

Location was great, 10 mins from the city center, staff was helpful, surroundings were super quiet so we really enjoyed our time there, the pool & gym was also a nice bonus to our stay. For the price our room was excellent, good view of the mountain. Also, parking was easy there are many spots around the hotel, could be ore difficult during the winter though if all rooms are occupied.

Breakfast was ok, not a 10 but could definitely be a little bit better. Parking could also be improved by putting some numbers and keeping them for the hotel guests as to always have a spot. No other issues, everything else was amazing!

Clean and warm rooms, helpful staff, we loved the spa area with swimming pools for adults and kids, jacuzzi, steam bath, etc. included in the price, we appreciated that they also provided with bathrobes in the rooms, good location- 15 minutes walk from gondola ski lift, 10 minutes walk from Bansko center with the shops and taverns, for breakfast you can choose one meal of the seven options from the menu e.g. continental breakfast, scrambled eggs, healthy breakfast, etc. and also there is a buffet table with bread, fruits, cakes, hot drinks and juices.

It is not very important, but the furniture seems a bit outdated, and the wooden elements in the hotel seem to require some maintenance.

Spa facilities were lovely. Breakfast buffet was substantial and a great start to the day. Shuttle bus to the slopes great although to walk was only a brisk 10mins anyway. Family Mansard room was great size for 2 adults and 2 kids. Location was excellent being close to the old town and its range of tavernas and traditional restaurants. Staff very helpful and friendly. Equipment locker room nice and handy. Restaurant reasonably priced and decent food.

The lift could be a bit temperamental at times and we had to take the stairs instead quite often. Bar area at reception could be lit a bit more atmospherically to make it more appealing as a place to hang out.
