The staff at Velinov were excellent. Very nice people who have started their hotel and had the grand opening while we were staying there. The hotel is located in an excellent location just a few minutes walk away from the heart of Bansko with all of its wonderful Bulgarian restaurants.

The breakfast was really good, but it would have been better with a few more selections. The one thing that bothered us was the music at breakfast which was too loud. We would have preferred some lighter music or no music was we sat by the fire in the dining hall. Other than that ... all was excellent.

I loved staying at the Velinov…I was here two weeks in June 2024. Dify and Violeta were wonderful…running the hotel, answering questions and bringing good energy to a lovely family hotel. V is in the center of Bansko, near restaurants and Old Town. Breakfast was over the top, the bed was super comfortable, there was a kettle in the room to make coffee, wi-fi was very strong, shower was good, and there was a patio on the second floor to relax, read and take a few quiet moments.

I liked everything.

All staff were very friendly. Especially Dana helped us with our special requests. Hotel is very preferable because of its price/performance rate. Room has coffee machine and kettle with coffee capsules and tea. There was shuttle 8 to 10 am and 4 to 5 pm. Breakfast was very nice and also we had warm place to put our ski equipments. Me and my family will stay again😊

The location was excellent. Very central and convenient. We walked everywhere. The staff were great and most helpful. Breakfast was very good. There was a free shuttle to the gondola and the sauna was also free. Very good value for money. Would stay again

The shower is partially over the toilet and not a separate unit. But I believe most of Bulgaria is the same.

The hotel is located in a very nice place near the central promenade. It has its own parking lot, which I really liked, because you don't have to worry about your car while you're on vacation. Special praise for the food and the hotel's own transport to the gondola and great respect for the driver who is above all a great man!

I have no complaints.

The staff was very friendly and we really did feel welcome! The room was clean with a comfortable bed. Whenever we needed anything like hairdryer or cutlery all our needs were quickly met! The breakfast was local style which we enjoyed a lot ;) It is situated just 3 minutes walk from the center in a quiet street (love it). The mountains are awesome with plenty of options for sports and outdoor activities like hiking, trail-running, mountain biking. Will definitely go back when we visit Bansko again.

Not a huge problem but the shower in the bathroom is not separated from the rest of the bathroom so everything is wet after we take a shower.

The room was spacious, breakfast was all good and the sauna on point. The personal is very helpful and they are willing to help you with everything.

Is a bit far from gondola (20 min walk) but they have free shuttle services every other hour. (It’s not a minus but is worth to mention)

Its a cozy hotel with a nice interior, located in the old town in Bansko. Pluses: Breakfast was really excellent. Diverse. Eggs, vegetables, fruits, coffee, tea, cheese, sausages, pastries... Like in good old times in Turkey, or even better. The hotel has a nice interior and design inside. Lamps, lighting, chairs, paintings on the walls etc etc Wi Fi works well. Nice patios on two floors, common spaces. Easy parking Friendly staff Overall good deal for 15-20 euro/ day...

* Room is small * Double bed in room number 16 was not that much comfortable for a person that weighs over 80-85 kg.I would rate it, 6-7/10. Nothing tragic, but the mattress does not give proper support for back during sleep. This mattress was good 1-2 years ago, but not anymore, that much. * In the summer, rooms definitely require AC or Fans

An exceptional place worth to visit regularily. The location of the hotel is in a quiet corner of downtown centre fitting smooth distances by foot and by car. The staff were friendly, nice, kind, postive, smiling, servile and helpful and provided conditions for a perfect BB stay. The Hotel and the Room were crystal clean, cosy and comfort enough to rest and relax at each corner, as well equiped with all nesserarily facilities. The food and drinks served in the resturant were of domestic and international cousine with delicious and tasty meals switched randomly on a daily basis. The stay was extraordinary occasion to change climate & enjoy fascinating preserved indoor and outdoor ambients in place as well as surrounding places of the town of Bansko. We Thank you so much.

None negative remarks, everthing was fascinating.

- Everything was immaculately clean including the bedding (all white), room itself, bathroom, and common spaces. - The room and bathroom both had warm, radiant heating which was pleasant most of the time - Good wifi connection - Some reviews complain about the old TVs (which I don't care about), but large flatscreens were delivered during my stay for all you who care - The breakfast from 8-10a was very good in the form of a buffet during the days when there were more people, or made-to-order during the times when it was just me. Available were omelettes, french toast, breakfast sandwiches, eggs, fresh fruit and veggies, yogurt and toppings, traditional Bulgarian sweets, coffee, tea, milk, juices, etc. - At least while I was there which was before peak-season, I was allowed to use the lounge/dining area after breakfast to work on my computer. There's also a fireplace which makes it a cozy environment. - Plenty of restaurants and food options within 10 minutes walk. Highly recommend Le Petit Nicolas (3 minutes walk)! - All the ladies who work here are really nice and helpful :)

- Walls are a bit thin, so you can hear others easily. I stayed while it wasn't as busy, so it wasn't a problem for me though. - It can get cold in the room rom time-to-time. This is mostly during the day because the heat is timed on/off. It's not an issue at night.
