The Katari Hotel offers great value for money and a central location. While it may be a little older than some hotels, the rooms are clean, have aircon and comfortable beds. I've stayed there for business trips over the years for the past 15 years. It's not a luxury hotel, but it has everything you need for a business trip at an affordable price. The buffet breakfast has continental and Asian food selections. The gym and the rooftop swimming pool are great features as well. Each room receives 2 bottles of water each day, and fresh towels. Virtually all the plugs points can take international plugs so there's no need for adapters.

Some of the facilities are looking a little tired, but for the price they are adequate. There's is a lot of construction going on in the area, but that's a common problem all over Phnom Penh.

I thought the breakfast was great! Lots of choice I liked especially the fresh tropical fruit and the eggs made to order there was also plenty of other dishes to choose from and fresh baguettes The pool area is lovely on the 12 floor relaxing after a busy day looking at the sights the location was good too walking distance to the Independence Monument for example and around the corner from Browns a great coffee place. The bedlinen was nice too The staff always were friendly and helpful. Thank you!

That I had to leave!

Pleasantly surprised with the entire experience at the hotel. I got in earlier than the prescribed check-in and the Staff was very accommodating. Wait less than 20 mins for my room! It was certainly value for money based on location and breakfast was provided.

Thanks to the kind staff at Hotel Katari who organised to have my dress sent to my next hotel in Siem Reap, after I left it in the cupboard. It was much appreciated and reflected their general helpfulness during our stay.

Location was perfect; convenient yet not too close to the center so it was not crowded nor noisy. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, convenient stores, ATMs, and etc around the hotel. Staffs were very nice; accommodated every requests of mine. They even upgraded my room. The room was on 10th floor, clean & spacious and had big windows with a very nice view.

I wish the AC in my room had quiet or sleep mode for the night.

I am not sure about location as due to airline delay, we reached @ 22.00 and we started next morning for Siem Reap but staff was very polite& helpful. Breakfast was very good buffet with lot of options.

Really nice pool, sauna, steam room and gym. We got a room upgrade and it was huge, clean and very comfortable with a big bathtub!

They seem to be slowly reopening after Covid so are a little understaffed. You can not buy any drinks at the hotel so need to buy outside if you want anything by the pool.

The hotel and staff were very nice. Rooms and facility were clean and was in a very nice area and close restaurants.

Nice but very loud area. Construction across the street and at night, there is a coffee shop that has live music every night. If you are a light or early sleeper, plan to bring ear plugs.

swimming pool was OK but no service as it was before. No towel available, couple of broken deckchairs, it seems that swimming pool was abandonned. It's a pity !
