Staff were absolutely amazing! Everyone from the front desk, the breakfast staff and the cleaners were so polite and friendly. The breakfast staff and front desk staff were especially helpful to us, they really went out of their way to meet our needs. And always with a smile and positivity! The steam room and sauna are such a fabulous addition to the hotel, it was my sister's favourite part of the day, going for a steam at night. Rooms were always clean, beds and towels changed regularly and complimentary drinks topped up. The breakfast options were plentiful and we looked forward to it every day! All round, a fabulous stay! A huge thank you to all the staff, you're doing a brilliant job.

The only downside is that there is no gym and the swimming pool is entirely surrounded, so it gets no sun at all at any time of the day. But my sister enjoyed the cold dip at night after a steam, so we still got some use out of it.

- Tasteful, practical design, comfortable room, quite new - Good bed, good bathroom, good space for work - Relatively quiet, but not on 6th floor just below bar/dinner/BF area where noise from above (7th) starts early - Sauna/steam/pool - In middle of BKK1, one of best areas to stay

- BF to be ordered from menu, not buffet setup. Most (like me) do not have BF included I reckon, can pay separately - Night guard could be a little friendlier, more normal, more welcoming. Stayed there 6 days never looked up from his phone, said a word, or openen the door. Just sits there next to the door. The young chap during the day could teach him :) so very different.

room was clean and nice. good design. beautiful and cozy. perfect soft and big bed!!! location is okay.

early breakfast. we miss it first time they gave me not nice room with bed smell and when i asked to change said that “we don’t have another” but on booking was more than 4 else room is free … finally changed and all was okay

We spent two nights at the CHECK inn Phnom Penh BKK1 as part of our honeymoon, and it was the perfect spot for our time in the city. The hotel has a modern, boutique vibe with thoughtful design touches that make our stay feel a little extra special. Our room was clean, stylish, and very comfortable — a great place to relax after exploring Phnom Penh. The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to help with a smile, and they even congratulated us on our honeymoon, which was such a sweet gesture. One of the unexpected highlights was being able to get our laundry done — after a week of travelling, it was such a relief and made us feel fresh and ready for the next part of our journey. The location is ideal — right in the heart of BKK1 with lots of great cafes, restaurants, and sights within walking distance, but still quiet enough for a peaceful night’s sleep. We’re so glad we chose to stay here for this part of our trip. It added to the memories of our honeymoon. Highly recommended!

We had a comfortable few nights at this hotel. Reception area is nicely done maintaining some features of the old brewery. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and had toiletries, hairdryer, slippers. Breakfast was great - good choice of food and included proper coffee and nice setting on the top floor. Location is good. We walked to Independence monument and S-21 museum. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and walking distance to Langka Lane and Bassac Street for some nightlife.

One of the reasons we booked this hotel was because it had a gym but when we got there the gym was not in use. The sauna and steam room were turned off when we wanted to use it and we then had to wait about half an hour to use them after staff turned them on, it would have been good to be told about this at check in. Unfortunately one day we put the sign on the door to have the room cleaned and even after being out all day this wasn’t done. Wifi did not always work very well. A bin with a lid would be better in the bathroom. We had a balcony but there was no furniture so couldn’t sit out on it. There were no beds at the pool only a couple of stools to sit on, maybe because the pool doesn’t get the sun. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but some parts felt unfinished.

I really really liked this hotel. The rooms are very modern and extremely clean. I think our room must have been refurbished recently as the decor was impeccable and very modern - lots of sockets. The beds were huge in the twin room. The bathroom was also very modern and great hot water/shower pressure. Tea, coffee, slippers etc all provided. The balcony was huge and great for sitting outside! Wi-Fi worked perfectly. I also loved the pool area - the pool was cleaned daily and towels provided by the poolside so it was very convenient. Great place to relax before or after a day of exploring. Beautiful rooftop terrace with a lovely view of the city. Very friendly staff at reception who went out of their way to help. Lastly, the location was very good. Lots of nice shops and restaurants nearby and walking distance to the river area, palace and many of the other main attractions.

We had some noise issues due to the building site and nightclub next door. This isn’t the hotel’s fault but if you don’t sleep well request a room that doesn’t face the pool side as I was told from other guests that it is quieter in that side. Also, it wasn’t always clear when the roof terrace was open. Sometimes during opening hours there was no staff presence. It would have been nice to know when to go up for a coffee or an aperitif and enjoy the view more!

The staff at check in was very nice. I had asked for their names but lost the paper, it was a lady who was very kind and polite, alwyas smiling and another man who was also very welcoming. the check in was done last week Saturday around 6pm and there was everything perfect. A small issue I had (room smelled like smoke), was dealt with and they helped me to get another room. Laundry service was done very quickly, too.

I went for breakfast once on Sunday and it took 1 hour from me being seated to ordering to receiving the food. It was an absolute chaos, i did not go anymore to have breakfast there, but preferred to find breakfast outside the hotel.

The room was very clean, modern, and comfortable. The entire structure is well-maintained and gives a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. Staff were polite and helpful. The location is also convenient for exploring Phnom Penh. Overall, the experience was relaxing and enjoyable.

Breakfast could have been better considering the price. The variety and quality did not fully meet my expectations. It felt a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the service.

Excellent location, the bed was most comfortable. Shower was large, water, pressure flow perfect.

The breakfast buffet, horrible. Not worth paying for the breakfast. Many restaurants around the area to choose. Two days into my stay after complaining, I was told that there is an à la cart with menu. No signage the staff never mentioned the option. I’ve seen complaints as far back as March and have not rectified this issue. Secondly, I asked I have my shower drain checked, very slow water drainage. Never attempted to correct the problem.

The staff is AMAZING!! Thank you so much for making me feel welcome for 3 weeks ❤️ I wish everyone the best in their life. The hotel is really clean too and the rooms are spacious enough and all have a balcony. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Phnom Penh

The WiFi was not really good in my room but that's the only downside I could find. You can use you 4G with smart tourist SIM there comes with lots of data as a backup
