The facade was under reno's as well as the pool area, but we were offered the use of the pool next door, (We declined). The building was clean, neat, well organized. Desk staff were prompt, helpful, and efficient. Room was not quite ready when we arrived, but we were offered coffee in the lobby while the staff did the final touches to our room. Room was neat, clean, and smelled nice. It was exactly as requested, twin queen beds. Beds were very comfortable, pillows (4) were perfect. Room had a mini fridge and an almost new smart TV. Bathroom was neat and clean, with shampoo, cond, and body wash supplied. Everything worked great. We were joined by one of my children for the stay, we a little disappointed we were charged an additional $15.00 for her to park in the parkade. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, hot, very tasty, with the exception of the scrambled eggs. There was plenty of seating in the breakfast area, and was monitored by staff that were both friendly, and helpful. (Well done). Check out was fast, and efficient. Overall, I felt these people were really trying to maintain an excellent place to stay. I would say they succeeded, in my family's opinion. Well done, I will see you all again.

Drop the $15.00 sur charge for the additional vehicle. Seem rather chippy. otherwise, excellent.

Check in process was a breeze. We were given an adjoining room which was very nice for the children. The room was overall nice, clean and updated. Bed is comfortable we had really good nights of sleep. Thermostat was easy to fiddle with. Great selection for breakfast. Parkade was a convenience and a security feature that we liked. Close to downtown.

It's a quaint hotel but the rooms are updated. The pool was under renovation. Although we were allowed to use the neighboring hotel's pool, it was packed. View from room was not pleasant. The Ice machine on our floor was not working.

Our check-in experienced was smooth.. the afternoon front desks are very accommodating. My kids enjoyed our overnight stay there.. they loved the pool.

The morning receptionist is not very accommodating. He seems he 's not willing to help his customers. I have a question regarding our deposit.. he didnt let me finish to talk. He's always interrupting me.

Our 1 bedroom King Suite with kitchen was very spacious. I loved the size for the 2 of us. Location was great, close to many places (shopping, downtown, stadium, easy way to get out to the rockies, etc.). I really loved using the app on my cell phone to open our suite and access to pool and gym and really fast check out with app. I also licked the secured underground access.

The pool is really too small for the size of the hotel and number of guests. As well, the breakfast area layout is not great and the breakfast could use more variety. The little room doesn't allow alot of people during the busy times.

I was attending meetings at the University, which is within walking distance (20 mins). This is a bonus both for exercise and saving on cab costs! Brief encounters with staff were very pleasant and helpful. Value for money: this place is a great find for those on a budget. Not only were the room rates on the low end, but the hot breakfast (well made omelettes and sausage/bacon; not to mention loads of cereal, waffles, toast....) included with the price makes this a heck of a good deal. I would definitely stay here again.

This is not a high end hotel, so the walls were a little thin and I could hear others down the hall. I got lucky and the place was pretty quiet. If you had loud guests in adjacent rooms it might be an issue, but it was not an issue while I was there. Also, for the price you wouldn't expect luxury accommodations.

Stayed here a week, friendly and helpful staff, rooms were clean and kept clean, secure parking, nice size rooms and comfortable beds. My niece enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Location was perfect for what we needed to do...I thought it might be noisy but it wasn't. Would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was fine but choices were limited, especially for a weeklong stay. Would have appreciated some other fruit choices besides red delicious apples. Kitchen staff were friendly and helpful, though, and we appreciated having the free breakfast.

The Breakfast was pretty good

I didn't like that Booking had a "pay at the property" option, yet The Hampton has their own policy that they pre-charge for the cost of the room. The Hampton was accomodating and let me pay for my room partially with debit, then take the remainder from the room hold, that also acted as my incidental hold. I think this is a booking problem, as they shouldn't offer "pay at the property" option if the Hotel that they are working with has a different policy.

The breakfast is great. Room was comfy and clean. Love the shampoo and conditioner brands that they have to use. Parkdale is lovely to have as well.

The hot tub was hot the evening we got there but in the morning around 10 AM it was like warm. Every time we go is a bit up and down with the temperature and the amount of water. Could use a deep clean as well the jets don’t work the greatest. For breakfast the only thing I would improve is possibly bringing in different kinds of apples or fruits it’s always the red apples which are very hit or miss.

We really like the room. Spacious, clean and the bed is comfortable. The front desk, Sandra, was so helpful. The housekeeping, Eta (not sure if I spelled her name right) she's really awesome from cleaning our room. When we stepped out to enjoy our day, when we came back our room was so clean and tidy again. And we were very happy for that.

The kitchen was a bit tight for guests to grab their food could've been a little bigger

We were surprised to get a bedroom. Thought I was getting a normal king suite. Pool was good and hot tub was hot. breakfast staff were very understanding of the mess my kids made. .........

Would be nice if 12 and over kids could be allowed in the gym with Adult supervision. Like One Adult to one child. My son is training for cross country running wanted to use the treadmill. Nothing could be done about the hockey team. Teams will always be a problem at any hotel. The team/teams were running up and down the halls all night long. My kids did not tell me till the next morning that it bothered them. My husband and I in the bedroom did not hear anything kids in the main room ( Sofa bed ) did not sleep. Silly kids for not telling us. I would have called the fount desk if they had woken me and told me.
