Great location just 8 minutes from Canmore and a short drive to Banff. Easy access to the highway. Ask for a room at the back to avoid highway noise. The unit was spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The front bedroom has a balcony. There were toiletries provided. WiFi was good. Salt, pepper are provided and there was a good sharp knife. The unit was warm on one cold June day. We really appreciated the large washer and dryer and TV. Plenty of parking.

I needed to ask for the unit number and door access code. No toilet paper in one bathroom. One dish towel was provided but not enough for a four night stay. Some Teflon pots and pans were too scratched to use. An unexpected Xmas tree in the living room in June.

The Canmore location was great. The owner was swiftly getting back with questions and repairswhen our doorjam broke and toilet clogged the first day. The facility was clean. We loved being able to wash and dry clothes. Not having to buy bear spray was a bonus also.

Mugs were too small, and the air conditioners needed attention. We reported this when we left. He acted like they would make adjustments.

The property was in a great location with mountain views all around. It was a very comfortable house very well equipped with everything we would need plus some personal touches such as coffee, condiments, cooking ingredients and bathroom and washing materials which we very much appreciated. The beds were very comfortable and the house was well heated. Lovely bathroom and additional shower & toilet room downstairs. Very clean. Felt very much like ‘home from home’!

There was nothing we didn’t like. You do need to drive to nearby Canmore for a shop.

Absolutely fantastic stay here! So close to the park and has everything you could need stocked. We loved feeling “home away from home”. Having the washer/dryer was amazing as well and allowed us to pack a little lighter. Supplies were provided for cooking, washing dishes, laundry and showering- and host texted to be sure we had enough. Comfy, cozy and very caring hosts. Mountain Views as soon as you walk outside. Plenty of parking. Just great all around!

We had a wonderful 4D3N stay at the Banff Woods Lodge, and we highly recommend this cozy home to all tourists coming to see the beauty of Alberta. It is very accessible to the scenic lakes, gardens, and mountains, as well as the famous ice field glacier. We were welcomed with spacious and well-lit rooms provided with kitchen, toilet, and entertainment amenities to facilitate our stay. We brought our own food, and we were able to cook as they have all the tools and equipment as well as the basic ingredients.

We suggest that they message us beforehand a detailed and comprehensive list of items that are available in the unit (e.g. slippers, toiletries, cleaning items, etc.) as we brought our own, and it would have been a great opportunity to lighten our load considering our travel via plane.

Had everything we needed, very nice place, everything top notch. Even had spices and condiments so we didn't have to buy a bunch of things we normally do. Communication was excellent, it's obvious the host cares a lot about a good experience for guests. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Our only negative wasn't something advertised in the listing -- The complex has a hot tub and pool, but they were closed. It was a surprise to find out it was there, but then wasnt available for us to use anyways.... Did not deduct anything for that as the listing didn't mention it -- Just might be an added plus in future, and certainly if they can get it up and running again would be an even better place to stay.

Great location and quick responses from the host on all of our questions (on accessing the unit and the pilot light). Was a great value - nice size, and beautiful location and proximity to Banff without the price tag!

Incorrect door access code upon check-in, but the host was quick to respond with the updated access code information (within just a minute or two!).

Location was great, was very quiet, was very clean, and it was a perfect fit for our family of four.

Beds were not very comfortable. Pillows were not comfortable and were flat, there were only 3 flat ones on the master bed and two had shams on them. there was not one extra pillow anywhere.

Clean, quiet and comfy. Well furnished, fully equipped and very very well stocked up with all necessities … even USB charging cables. Cable TV and Internet available for evening relaxation. Location is great, with a short drive to Canmore and Banff.

Nothing actually, except for a period of patchy internet connection due to the provider, which the host kept us informed of the updates.

It was very close to the Banff National Park. The owner was super-polite and helpful. The property was very comfortable and clean. Dishes, mugs, dishwasher made meals easy. The laundry was very helpful for a trip with a lot of hiking!
