It was on a busy road.

The front common room was comfy and welcoming. There were couches, sets of wingback chairs with tables and a roaring fireplace in the evening. Sitting in front of the fire in the evening having a cuppa tea or coffee was very relaxing. The front desk attendant was nice and friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and our room had a fantastic view of the mountains.

The locks on the doors could use some updating - the keys were a bit sticky to open. The toilet needs to be updated - it had trouble flushing.

We were displaced due to Jasper wild fire evacuations. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Our room was clean and lots of fun extras(my daughter loved the shower cap and shoe cleaning cloth). Coffee and tea bar was always fully stocked. Excellent laundry facilities and great togo breakfast. On a side note , the manage of the property went out of his way to contact affiliated hotels to ensure I received a refund on my Jasper stay. Location to everything in Canmore is perfect. Highly recommend!

$5 CAD breakfast were great, very filling and worth the money. Free coffee and tea in morning. Staff super helpful and responded to concerns quickly. Lobby and rooms very cozy! Stayed in family suite for 7 days (2 queen beds, 1 pull-out couch) and worked great for our group of 5. I think the best thing was the friendly staff and how they were always so helpful! Also only 20min drive to Banff and close to everything.

Confortable and spacious rooms with a fridge and microwave. Staff was kind and helpful. No restaurant on site but there is complimentary tea/coffee all day, as is the sauna. 20 minute walk from downtown Canmore

Room was dusty (not dirty). Cleaning could have been more thorough Not having breakfast options on site is a bummer as it's on the main road, but there was a great place right across the street

We had an excellent stay in the Rocky Mountain Inn. The rooms were large and very comfortable, and the communal living room area had large windows looking out at the surrounding mountains, and was a wonderful place to relax and have our breakfast in the morning. There were a few perks that I wasn't expecting - for instance although breakfast wasn't included in the price, they offered a breakfast to go option for 5 CAD per person which included a croissant, yoghurt with granola, delicious freshly baked banana bread, fruit, and orange juice. I thought this was excellent value! There was also a drinks station in the communal area with coffee, herbal teas, hot chocolate, and fruit available 24/7. Although we never had the opportunity to indulge in this as we were out and about all day long, I was told that cheese and wine was on offer between 5 and 6pm every day which I thought was a nice touch. The staff were for the most part friendly and accommodating.

We were unable to access some of the services. For instance the laundry machines were both out of service at a time when I needed them most (after a 3 day mountain hut to hut trek with no showers!!), and although we repeatedly asked for our room to get cleaned, due to the reception staff erroneously not putting this request in the system, we ended up repeatedly coming back to a room that hadn't been made up. These were however small things and the general feel and vibe of the Rocky Mountain Inn was so homely and welcoming that I would stay there again with no hesitation.

The location was amazing! Completely walkable. We were here to celebrate my 40th birthday and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that it was a memorable one. We received an upgrade and had a lovely surprise of wine and chocolates in our room. They even had wine and cheese hour in the hotel lobby! I can’t understand how this hotel is not rated 10 stars?! Don’t hesitate, book now!

The room was very comfortable; the view from out lanai excellent. The road is heavily traveled but not so at night when we slept. We would stay here again.

Probably not a problem with the Inn, but within an a couple of hours of our departure, we received an alert fraud text notice from our bank. It indeed was not a charge by us as credit card info did not belong to us. Not sure how it got to our bank since we do not have their credit card.

The staff at the front desk was very friendly. Nice lobby area to sit and drink complimentary tea / coffee. Also wine and cheese was served in the evening, but we didn’t make use of this (but it was a nice atmosphere). Located near city centre and opposite good breakfast restaurant.

Sometimes the wifi didn’t work well in the rooms, it kept going on and off. No issues in the lobby, so it could have been the specific location of our rooms.

Even though we didn't use it, liked the wine and cheese offering. Great breakfast package. Nice having coffee and tea always available. Very comfortable beds.

Staff was welcoming but seemed stretched too far. Called before arriving to check location but no answer. No one at the desk on arrival. Were you short staffed?
