I came in not expecting much due to the reviews but ended up not understanding why the low ratings. The beds are really comfortable! The rooms are really clean, I had 7 to 9 hours sleep a day (spent 4 nights here) everything is working, if you want your rooms cleaned after a day of exploring Banff and doing Icefield Parkway we go home and our room is cleaned. Location is perfect, close to all the cafes and restaurant options + grocery stores if you are on a budget. Always felt safe here (I traveled with my Mom) Overall, I would stay here again and I would recommend this place. I've been to so many places all around the world, and this place does not deserve the low rating. You go to Canmore to explore the national parks. You're not there to spend the entire day inside your hotel room. We used the mini hot pool and sauna too! That was a plus, and if you ask nicely they are very accommodating. Never excountered a rude staff. We did go in October (low Banff season) which made our stay affordable versus the summer (high season) Our view was great too (we stayed in Room 230 with views of the mountains)

From the first impression at check in (shout out to our Aussie reception staff member Holly 😀) we had a fantastic experience at the ski lodge. The room was serviced every day, it was clean and a good supply of towels etc every day. The room was large, shower hot and the views from our front balcony to see every day were beyond description! Amazing! Good free parking available and really quiet which was so good after a long day sightseeing. We spent 4 nights here but could have settled in for 2 weeks easily! Laundry onsite to use very cheap and machines worked well. We needed s9me assistance with printing some travel documents, Holly happily assisted and the other lady on shift with her always friendly and happy to chat. We felt very welcome!

Location was fantastic, trip to lake Louise pick up point just a short walk away. Bus stop to Banff is opposite, and the walk into Canmore itself is a beautiful 15/20 min stroll if you choose the more scenic route which is well worth doing. The property itself was a great base. There were 6 of us, one couple in the bedroom, my son on the sofa bed which was a bit of a faff to get out with the huge round table in the way but we managed. The loft beds were comfortable and it really had a cabin feel to it. Don’t expect much but it’s comfortable and clean and the employees couldn’t do enough. I would certainly return.

The large round table made getting the sofa bed out difficult. It would be much better using a foldable table or one that is much smaller.

Great location -- right downtown, easy access to the mountains, highways, grocery, restaurants, etc. Everything within a couple kms. Didn't end up using the hot tub or sauna, because the hot water and pressure in the shower was EPIC, so I could just enjoy that privately. View from my apartment looked out over the main road through Canmore, affording a mix of peoplewatching and mountain watching opportunities. Tons of parking spots, often right in front of my unit. Would 100% stay there again.

Room card stopped working twice, requiring me to get a replacement, twice. Staff were courteous and efficient however, so no great loss there. Also didn't like that I had to eventually go home, as I could easily have stayed another week to enjoy the mountains. :D

The place was clean and the kitchenette had everything we needed. Ear plugs allowed me to sleep through the infrequent trains which pass through town.

We asked for the couch to be made up as a bed. Unfortunately housekeeping only provided a blanket rather than a comforter which would have been more comfortable.

Great hotel, short walk from the downtown area with restaurants, coffee shops, stores, etc. Quiet with comfortable beds (all you need after the whole day skiing!). Staff at the front desk lovely and helpful. Would come back for sure!

Guests staying next to us parked right in front of their room instead of using a designated parking spot which made it tricky to back out of our spot in the morning, especially with snow everywhere. Someone should maybe verify this and ensure everyone is parked properly and not obstructing other vehicles.

My one bedroom apartment was clean and the bed is comfortable. Everything works. The kitchenette is an added plus. Showers hot and pressure was good. Easy access to the highway and a 5-7 minutes drive to downtown.

As mentioned by others, there are no bedside lamps nor power plugs in the bedroom and the curtains didn't close well. I used cloth pins to secure the curtains and a couple of extension cords plugged into living room sockets did the trick.

Location on the edge of town. Bus to Banff stopped outside. Patio doors were nice to have. Separate bedroom from lounge kichen was nice for a change. And we enjoyed the jacuzzi. well equipped kitchenette. We loved watching the gofers outside on the grass - so cute Bed and bedding and pillows were wonderfully comfortable.

Some Traffic and train noise when windows open but not a big issue. A few things didn’t work- toaster, microwave snd we had a problem with shower

Staff was awesome, the front desk lady was really great and helpful! The place was decent and perfect for a quick stay. The view is beautiful.

Just bring hand soap if you need it, they only provide you with shower gel which takes forever to wash off hands. The table was a little sticky so if you have something to clean with, it helps. We also never got housekeeping but it's probably because we were in the room on and off until about 11am every day. I think they only provide the service in the early morning. But we were able to get what we needed from the front desk at night anyway.

I don't know if I liked the hotel that much, but I definitely loved being in Canmore. The apartment is definitely spacious enough and the views are insane because, again, you're in Canmore. The staff was very nice and I didn't mind a little bit of walking to downtown Canmore, either.

I think it's ridiculously expensive, which is no different than any other place in the Canadian Rockies, unfortunately.
