The place was clean and the kitchenette had everything we needed. Ear plugs allowed me to sleep through the infrequent trains which pass through town.

We asked for the couch to be made up as a bed. Unfortunately housekeeping only provided a blanket rather than a comforter which would have been more comfortable.

Great location -- right downtown, easy access to the mountains, highways, grocery, restaurants, etc. Everything within a couple kms. Didn't end up using the hot tub or sauna, because the hot water and pressure in the shower was EPIC, so I could just enjoy that privately. View from my apartment looked out over the main road through Canmore, affording a mix of peoplewatching and mountain watching opportunities. Tons of parking spots, often right in front of my unit. Would 100% stay there again.

Room card stopped working twice, requiring me to get a replacement, twice. Staff were courteous and efficient however, so no great loss there. Also didn't like that I had to eventually go home, as I could easily have stayed another week to enjoy the mountains. :D

Great hotel, short walk from the downtown area with restaurants, coffee shops, stores, etc. Quiet with comfortable beds (all you need after the whole day skiing!). Staff at the front desk lovely and helpful. Would come back for sure!

Guests staying next to us parked right in front of their room instead of using a designated parking spot which made it tricky to back out of our spot in the morning, especially with snow everywhere. Someone should maybe verify this and ensure everyone is parked properly and not obstructing other vehicles.

Staff was awesome, the front desk lady was really great and helpful! The place was decent and perfect for a quick stay. The view is beautiful.

Just bring hand soap if you need it, they only provide you with shower gel which takes forever to wash off hands. The table was a little sticky so if you have something to clean with, it helps. We also never got housekeeping but it's probably because we were in the room on and off until about 11am every day. I think they only provide the service in the early morning. But we were able to get what we needed from the front desk at night anyway.

The location is spot on. This is one of my favorite places. The housekeeping staff are the most beautifully kind people, ever. The front desk staff are also very friendly. There is no other place in Canmore where you will get this kind of value for your money. Every other place in Canmore is exceedingly over priced to the point of gauging. Free parking, kitchen facilities, great location...it's definitely not hidden but it sure is a gem!

A few items are beginning to age. The balconies could use some paint and the bbqs (by the playground) need to be cleaned (nobody seems to know how to clean up after themselves, unfortunately). I hope this property never does a huge renovation then turn around and jack up the rates. It's perfect the way it is...just needs a bit of age appropriate touch-ups.

We have stayed here in the past. We really like having a kitchen in the room to warm up meals we bring along. I have a number of food alleries. It is very affordable as well. Many of the accomodations have gone up in price over the years, we appreciate the affordable of the hotel. It is close to everything and has great views from the property.

The refrigerator did not fully close due to the seal around the refrigerator door. This is very minor, but we let the management know.

The location was great. The staff was very helpful. The beds were comfortable and it had a great hot tub. No carpet. I loved that.

The room was surprisingly small for the price. We have stayed in hotel rooms that were bigger. There is a lot of new resort construction going on around the property. I hope it can compete in the future. We weren’t there for the room. But for the Amazing area.

I called the front desk because I couldn’t figure out the tv, they sent maintenance up. I had my pups with me and they both approved of his vibes, he was great with them while he worked on the tv. Staff was very friendly. Location was great for what we needed! Great view and easy to get to food, the freeway, and shops.

Nothing that was a dealbreaker, just a couple of funky things in the room like an oval toilet seat on a round toilet, gaps in the laminate flooring, and the property just showing its age.

The apartments are perfect, very clean, lots of room and they have well stocked kitchens. The hot tub was absolutely perfect! You can't beat the million dollar view! All of the property is very comfortable and nostalgic, it feels like a real "lodge" experience. Not pretentious or intimidating. It was the perfect base camp for our visit. You can walk to lots of restaurants from the property, and grocery stores are a 2 minute drive.

This is a great place to stay if you're planning to visit the Rocky Mountains. It's in a quiet area on the outskirts of town with quick access to the highway. Our 1-bedroom room was very spacious, and we really appreciated the kitchenette, which allowed us to prepare our own meals. The staff was very friendly and helped us several times with the dryer.

The only thing I’d suggest is updating the appliances, like the washer and dryer.
