Located in the beautiful emerald lake in Yoho NP.. The lodges are a bit old but the view from the room was top. We didn't dine there since it was extremely expensive (instead we drove to lake louise village for the very good restaurant in the HI). There is also a nice little spa of hot tub. The staff at the front desk were very nice and really helped us with planning our hiking in the park. It's Also nice to have the lake quiet in the evening and early in the morning before the sea of tourists arrive.
The car park for the Lodge guests is few kms away from the Lodge. You have to park there and call (from a special phone located in the parking lot) to the reception and a shuttle comes to take you. Then each time you want to go out with the car and back you have to rake the shuttle to and from the Lodge. Sometimes you need wait to other guests and the whole process is a bit annoying

Beautiful location & we were able to create stunning photos around the lake. We enjoyed the lounge & casual dining area & also used it for the wifi as there is no wifi in the cabin.
The rooms are very old & desperately need updating. The bathroom has grout falling out of the floor tiles, the carpets & rugs are worn out & have threads hanging off them. The walls have the worst most dreary set of photos on them. Emerald lake has millions of stunning pictures taking off it by visitors every year so why do the rooms have some of the worst pictures I have ever seen of Moraine Lake & other venues? Why not get some decent photos of Emerald Lake & have them mounted on the wall to inspire your guests.

The location is just stunning and feels so exclusive when most visitors have left the Lake for the day and it's as if you have it all to yourself! Multiple dining options on site - we had an incredible sandwich from Cilantro, and a lovely dinner in the bar/lounge. Staff were absolutely great - helpful, friendly and fun, with lots of local knowledge to share. Accommodations feel private and like a home away from home. Balconies are a good size and great to sit out with a drink and watch over the Lake. Comfortable beds and well equipped bathrooms. To note, there is no Internet connection, limited phone signal and no TV in the rooms, but it's really not needed with beautiful surroundings and the nice communal facilities. Hot tubs and sauna available - the 'club house' is well maintained with lovely, well equipped changing facilities. There's also a large fire pit available and s'more packs available at reception which was a lovely touch!
In terms of just the room itself, the price is arguably fairly steep for what you get. But we feel it's important to consider the whole experience in with the price which does make it feel more reasonable - communal facilities are great and the beautiful location really can't be beat.

We stayed at this property for an extravagant night for my birthday while travelling a month overseas. The location was sensational! Emerald Lake was stunning and it was amazing to stay there and I am glad we did it. Staff were lovely. Loved the pod coffee machine in the room!
By the time we had a couple of drinks in the bar, some food and ate in the restaurant that night it became a very expensive stay. Much more than we would usually spend for an overnight stay. The room was quite small and would have preferred to have views of the lake but because I required two beds in my room there wasn’t that option. Also would have like a fridge in the room.

A fantastic location! Lodges had everything we needed and were very clean. Staff were very friendly and the main lodge was beautiful!
Canoe rental should go on later! We arrived at the boat house at 4:47pm to be told that they closed at 4:45pm. I tried to explain that we had been held up by a shuttle delay and a wedding party, that we couldn’t interrupt but the staff at the boat house were very unsympathetic. This was a ‘bucket list’ activity that I will now never get to do! We were travelling from the UK for our 30th wedding anniversary. All other staff were lovely!

Amazing location with lots to like. The rooms that have not yet been refurbished are definitely tired and very plain so I would only return to a refurbished room. The main house is charming and stylish and upstairs there is a very large snooker table and a smart tv. The view from the hot tub is 5* The reception staff were a bit off hand (too kool for skool type) but the maintenance and drivers were charming.
The room was large but very brown and is over due repairs like the doors missing from the wardrobe. No fridge in the room, not a problem in winter as you can keep milk outside but the pine martins will have anything they can get their paws on! The location is so amazing that hopefully they will renovate all rooms and it will be stunning. Great breakfast buffet but some of the food/drink was disappointing for example the coffee; drip coffee in flasks which was bitter and not hot enough.

We had a wonderful stay! The rooms were cozy and charming, with a real fireplace, breathtaking lake views, and an almost surreal silence — so peaceful. It was an amazing experience to disconnect completely, with no internet or TV, and just enjoy nature. We were also very grateful to be given a one-hour late checkout free of charge — thank you so much for that! The restaurant was incredibly cozy too. Every corner and every detail was thoughtfully designed. I truly enjoyed looking at all the lovely little touches — such a warm and inviting atmosphere. This is a beautiful, peaceful place, and we will definitely be coming back!

Superb hotel in an incredible location. Rooms were decent size and the bed provided a very comfortable sleep. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Great location to stay and wander the grounds & surrounding area, especially the walk around the lake. Car parking is off site & transfers are by a shuttle bus, which was always very quick to arrive (on call). Facilities were good with options for eating & having a drink. Very comfortable & homely feel to the whole establishment. Once the day tourists leave, it is very serene. We wish we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy this place
Overcrowded with day tourists but they are gone by late afternoon.

The location in gorgeous! The staff are amazing. Restaurant is good. I liked that you didn’t have to look at the parking!
Rooms are really dated for the price. For $500+ per night the rooms should be updated. There were no tongs for the ice, carpet was old, chair at the desk was about to break, no A/C, cracked tiles in the bathroom, cheapest possible bathroom fixtures. Hope the staff is being paid well & that’s why the rooms aren’t being maintained. I also woke up super stuffy & brain foggy therefore there was definitely mold somewhere in the room, it does it every time.

The room (with fireplace!) was simple and rustic but clean and comfortable. The location and view were terrific! The walk from our room to the main lodge and restaurants was very pleasant, with a fantastic view. The breakfast buffet every morning was excellent. The approx. 3 mile hike around the lake had some breathtaking views, but part of it was muddy and very slippery! We did the hike in the morning and got excellent reflections on the calm lake.
We ate once at the main dining room in the lodge and once in the Cilantro Cafe. Both times the meals were entirely too spicy for our taste, so we ate elsewhere the rest of the time. The parking lot for resort guests is some distance from the lodge so we had to take a shuttle to get to and from our car. The shuttles are quickly available, but it was sort of a pain trying to remember to get everything we needed in or out of the car every time.
